It took almost two weeks to get the initial cleaning scheduled. Afterward, I contacted them about scheduling cleaning every other week and they never even responded.

Description of Work: The provider ad was to do "thorough housecleaning" of 2500 sq.ft 4 hours for $160.00 Kitchen cleaning; cabinets, small appliances, counter tops, sweeping and "thoroughly" mopping, trash removal. Bathrooms; cleaning tub, showers, toilets and sinks, cleaning and disinfecting all fixtures, treating any mildew, cleaning mirrors, shower tracks, vanity tops and floors General cleaning includes changing linen, making beds, cleaning wall decoration cleaning and/or polishing all furniture/decorative items, sweep, mop and vacuuming all floors Deep cleaning includes cleaning blinds, window sills, ceiling fans and other high dusting NThen on the front page of the ad the fine print states that, No move-in/move-out cleaning: no wall washing, furniture cleaning, doing dishes or laundry of which they did not do any of. The house was empty due to death of parent, and the cleaning was very light. No carpet on floors to sweep, no wall washing or decorative washing, no laundry or trash and no furniture washing or moving. Only the first floor kitchen and basement bathroom needed attention. Only the kitchen cabinets were clean very well. The bathroom was sprayed with cleanser and left undone for the hour and 10 minutes of service provided by 3 workers of a 4 hour ad. The workers stated that the ad should have stated " light housekeeping" and the owners stated that it was for residential only? If you live in the house with furniture, laundry, dishes, everyday living, and dirt and soil but the cleaning excludes walls, furniture, dishes, and laundry, then what is being thoroughly cleaned? However this is very contradictory everything not listed to do in fine print is done on the breakdown of the second page. But I didn't get any completed service and this was very unfortunate.

+ 1 moreThey were mediocre. I had problems scheduling with them and I thought the work was so so. I had to go back after and go over things. It just wasn't the best. They could have made scheduling better and they could have had more attention to detail. I should be able to let somebody into my house and even though I'm not there, the work should be done to my satisfaction.

+ 0 moreScheduling was fast and willing to work with my schedule. The girls were very nice and did a good job. They didn't have the equipment to really vacuum into the corners in my den, which was disappointing. I realized after the fact that one of the bathroom floors was never mopped, but I think that was just an oversight due to the two girls not often working together. For this price on a 1200 square foot house, and with it described as "thorough" I would have expected a bit more. I would consider this a good regular cleaning.

We understand sometimes mix-ups happen and given the fact we never encountered anything but friendliness by everybody we spoke to, I changed my prior rating. If we come across any work in the future, we're willing to give it another shot. Thank you.
Description of Work: I called to get more information on the Angie's List deal for a garage clean up. During the conversation, we determined that job was going to be much larger than the Angie's List offer, but the very nice gentleman agreed to have somebody come out to give us an estimate for the job that would not be covered as an Angies List deal. We made it clear that we would need stuff hauled away, mostly to the Good Will down the street. I believe the gentleman I spoke with on the phone came out himself and met with my husband to make an assessment and provide us with an estimate. At that time, my husband and the gentleman agreed on a price (I can't remember the exact quote). My husband had me call to set up the date of service, as I would be able to take a vacation day, but he could not. When I called, I spoke with a woman whose name I can't remember. | |When the agreed-upon date arrived, the temperatures were well below zero so I expected a call to reschedule but it never came. The workers were very punctual and friendly but the first thing I noticed was that they did not arrive with a truck to haul anything. I took them to the garage to show them what needed to be done and they were caught completely off guard. They were not aware of the size of the job, nor were they aware that we needed to have stuff hauled away. In fact, their work order had the Angie's List deal on it! I asked if their company was even capable of doing the kind job we were requesting. They assured me they could, but today it was too cold and they needed to come back with a truck. The guys apologized and tried to call back to the office, but couldn't reach anybody. They apologized again and asked for my phone number, so the office couldn call me back that day to reschedule. Their paperwork said they had lost my number. What?! | |I never heard from them again. Since the confusion was on their part, I figured I should at least get a call within two days. After two weeks I gave up on it and we decided to do the work ourselves at no cost. Everybody was so nice and seemed very professional, so I'm not sure what happened here.

We paid a little extra for them to cart away some things, but that was arranged ahead of time. I thought that they were thorough, and pleasant to deal with. They listened to what we wanted. They accomplished the task on time. The end product was a clean and organized garage that we were very happy with.

+ 4 moreThe date is approximate. I guessed because I don't remember exactly. I know my house closed on the 10th, and this was just before. I sold my house and bought this offer in it's last few days to have the carpets cleaned before the new owners moved in. I was already gone, so I was relying on my best friend to let them in and take care of things. This review is based on her experience, and I trust her opinion 100% The company was EXCELLENT about waiting for me to schedule. When I bought the offer, I wasn't quite sure when I'd be moving out, and I had to rely on someone else's availability (my best friend) to be there to let the cleaners in. Needless to say, I think I even changed the date once. They were patient and understanding. They called me when they were heading to the house. I was already 1100 miles away but I was their contact person, and they did call. I text my friend to discover she was running about 15 minutes late. I called the guys back, and explained the situation, and they were once again totally OK with it and very understanding. Once they arrived, I had told my friend to inquire as to whether or not they would do the stairs with the hallway (the offer was for 4 areas, and stairs counted as a separate area from a hallway). The hall was very small, but still an additional area. And having 4 bedrooms (if you count the finished carpeted attic) it was the deciding factor to attic vs stairs. They said it was absolutely no problem to do the hallway. My friend said they were really friendly, and that the carpets looked brand new and everything smelled great. There were a few spots they couldn't get out, which I know were latex paint I had dripped on the carpet so I am not at all taking anything away from the review. I would absolutely recommend this company. The price was fair, the service was outstanding (and remember my opinion is for 2 people!) and since I knew the couple that bought my house, I can tell you they agreed the carpets looked and smelled great.

+ -1 moreThe service was fairly prompt at scheduling the service. However, somehow the cleaning couple (husband and wife) showed up several hours late. I think this was a scheduling error - not the fault of the couple who arrived to do the cleaning They cleaned my main floor and upstairs - which was about the square footage advertised in the Big Deal I had purchased. As this was the first time these folks had ever cleaned my house, I was not surprised to find several areas had not been dusted - I am sure they were just overlooked. My main complaint was the kitchen floor which looked very smeared. I had not specified that I would have liked this area washed on hands and knees and think they would have accommodated that request had I made it. I think they either used a mop that had been used for something else or perhaps a certain kind of microfiber mop on the kitchen floor - I had to redo it. Otherwise the job was done well. It took them I think about 2 and 1/2 hours to clean.

+ -1 moreIt was okay. It wasn't perfect but it was okay. It was the $159 deal that I bought. When I read over the deal there were certain things they were going to do. I was all happy with that. Two people came. One person did the 2 and a half bathrooms and a kitchen while the other person kind of dusted around and ran the vacuum cleaner. The person who did the kitchen and the bathrooms did a great job, I mean everything was really fine. The other person, you know, there were pieces of furniture she didn't dust, like dining room table wasn't dusted, she knocks the register cover off of the vent with the vacuum cleaner and just left it there,you know, I would probably give give them a B not an A, but I mean it wasn't terrible. They were here about an hour and forty five minutes, two people, that's not a terrible price but the value of it was suppose to be $300. I mean for three hundred dollars they should, you know, dusted more. If the one girl came and did all of the work for four hours it probably would have been an A. They were really good and came right when they said they would. I would definitely speak with them about what wasn't done before I paid for them to come back out here.
