Description of Work: I called this service today because I just joined Angie's list and was excited to try a well-ranked company. Well, this contractor doesn't know how to use their own telephone. They hung up before I could say anything on my first call. On my second call, I advised that I had been disconnected and the lady was apologetic. She put me on hold to obtain her price list. (Shouldn't that be near the phone?) The lady returned to the line a couple minutes later and I expected her to speak to me. Instead, she hung up on me again!!! Unbelievable! No doubt I will look for a cleaning service that knows how to answer the phone and tend to perspective customers!

Description of Work: The work crew and cleaning were fine, but when the owner came to assess the job, he assessed our house as needing "light to medium" cleaning. However, when the crew arrived they assessed the situation as needing "heavy to deep" cleaning. Therefore, they did not have the rig equipment or attitude to do the job right. When we called the office to complain, I was told we got what we asked for. We would NOT use this service again.

Description of Work: 03/29/2013 10:48 AM I bought the housecleaning package from Big Deal (Haddad cleaning) as a gift for my daughter, Christina Nicastro. Earlier this month, she called and scheduled her appointment and agreed to pay $30 extra because she lived outside their area. She later was contacted and told that they wouldn't be coming since she lived too far away. She lives in Clinton, PA. They advised her to contact Angie's list for a refund. At this point, I just want my money back. I believe it was $199.

Description of Work: I contacted Hodad Services for a quote for house cleaning, while they were polite and professional they were also significantly more expensive than other companies I got quotes from. For this reason alone we did not hire them. I am sure that they do an excellent job but not within our tight budget.

Description of Work: arrived at 9:39 am left at 12:30 2 people. they were plesent and worked steadily but two people could not clean a house this size in this timme. it was a very superficial cleaning not worth the charge amount

Description of Work: I am not sure if I liked these people or not - First they scheduled the appointment - then deceided they were to busy that day and wanted to give me another date. I was having weekend guest and really needed them on the original schedule date - They finally did come on the orginal schedule date very early in the morning - That was fine BUT they came and spent maybe 20 minutes cleaning the carpets and left - I do have a pet and was most concerned about the pet stains - They took care of the stain - never asked if I was satisfied ( which I thought could have been done a little better) Never moved ANY furniture - I moved the dining room chairs and I'm 71 - never put protectors under the feet of the couch - tables and living room chairs - Now I.m all on one floor and only have Living Room - Dining Room and Hall that needed done and 20 minutes seemed OK for the work that was done - because they left the carpeting soaking wet.. As I said I not sure I'd have these people back again - in fact the more I think about it I know I wouldn't.....

Description of Work: I have had Hadad clean and Scotchguard my living room, dining room steps and hall carpet twice, once in April and again in July. They were very efficient, competent and pleasant to work with (Raul and Alex). Since my carpet is old, they offered suggestions for extending its life. They did what they said they would do.Thjey were more affordable than the service I had been using. In late July, we had a flood in our basement and I called Hadad again to come in and remove the soaked carpet and pad in the game room which they did on extremely short notice. They vacuumed the water and left the room as clean as could be expected under the circumstances. In mid-August, when the rennovations on the game room were finished, I asked them to come back and steam clean and deoderize the furniture. Everything I ask them to do they do quickly, professionally and affordably I will continue to use them

Description of Work: I called and got the 4 room cleaning deal advertised on Angies List. The guys that came were promkpt, curteous, and the work they performed was great. They got all of the stains out of my carpets and they look new.
