Description of Work: Gino and his crew poured a new concrete floor in my garage. They moved everything out that had been stored there, which was a really big help. Gino returned my initial phone call promptly, visited the site, and provided a proposal. The whole process went smoothly, and I am pleased with my new floor.

Description of Work: Gino replaced an aging asphalt driveway with concrete as well as poured a new slab under our deck and fixed the main entrance slab and walk. Quality work at a *very* reasonable price! Would definitely recommend him.

Description of Work: He replaced front sidewalk. The long bottom flight was replaced of stairs. He also put in a new railing. He was here when he said he was going to be here. The work is beautiful. His estimate is lower than a list of other estimates I received. Price is extremely fair. I would not hire anyone else. The work is very professional and beautiful. He did a lot more than I expected him to do. Made the steps wider than what they previously were which I really appreciate. He put a clear frame on each sidewalk square and surface has traction lines which helps from keeping people from slipping. He made it beautiful.

Description of Work: Replacement of driveway and garage space. Efficiently organized and completed, with a well conceived cross drain at foot of driveway. Mr LeDonne drives himself and his team hard and all have seem to have pride in the work. Very accommodating in the creation of a couple of new steps, in arranging a drainvent for direct vertical snaking, and in adding $100 of rebar to garage area to hinder subsidence. In the haste of concreting omitted to insert an electric line across the driveway for a future charging eventuality as verbally agreed, but we can live with that.

Description of Work: I had the same experience as others. I called on a Friday afternoon and left a message. He responded the same day. He was polite and said that he was making a line-up for his schedule that coming Sunday. He said that once he got his schedule complete he would call me on Saturday and let me know when he would come out on Sunday. Since I had read some of these reviews about him, I confirmed with him that he would call me on Saturday to let me know what time I could expect him Sunday. I got no call on Saturday. So Sunday morning, I headed out and once I was on the road I got a call from him. I told him I was away from home and that he could come over that evening. I could tell he was irritated but he said that he would come over Sunday evening. I never heard from him again. I found another wonderful contractor (Isbir Construction) that did a fantastic job and was glad to have my business. Guess Mr. Gino must have plenty of money that he can turn down $10,000+ jobs.

Description of Work: Concrete parking pad and porch. Porch was raised to make it wheelchair assessible for my daughter. He also put a pipe in that let down to the street to divert rain water so the concrete will last. He also replaced my porch posts.

Description of Work: Called to schedule an estimate, Gino was not in the office at the time. He did call me back a couple of days later, and scheduled to come out to look at the work I need done. Told me he would be out the next day, it's been two weeks, and I haven't seen him yet. Can comment on his work, but he is not dependable.

Description of Work: Gino Ladonne and crew poured new sidewalks for us. The work was excellent. We had them back to build two small retaining walls and again the work was excellent and greatly enhanced our yard. They were reliable, quick, and offered an excellent value for price. We would recommend them and would definitely use them again.

Description of Work: I contacted Gino Ledonne Concrete for an estimate to put in a new concrete driveway. The owner called me back and asked me where South Park was, obviously he didn't try to identify the location of the township where I live. He asked me where South Park was and I explained in the South Hills. Gino, the owner, asked "how far out is it"? I told him I didn't understand his question. His response was "your probably to far away and I should contact someone closer and they will probably do a good job. In my opinion this attitude is totally unacceptable. If he has a limit of how far he travels for business, he should stipulate that in his advertisement. With the attitude I experienced, I would not hire this contractor if it was the last contractor on earth. Extremely disappointed!!!

Description of Work: Mr. LeDonne came to give us an estimate to replace a front porch and steps. Although he was unable to help due to his schedule, I found him to be very professional and knowledgeable. Although he knew he was not going to do the job, he still took the time to tell us what we should have someone else do and also what to avoid. If he was able to fit us in, I would have hired him immediately.

+ -1 moreOverall, it went pretty well. The job was done on time and there was only one problem with the driveway that we thought was going to be fixed. We may have misunderstood or it may not have been possible to do it, but we didn't know until several days after the job was complete that the problem still existed. In our minds, the remaining problem is a nusance and not important enough to have the contractor return. He told us he would return in several months to check on the job and if he indeed does so, it will be a pleasant surprise and we can maybe discuss it with him then. We have recommended him to several folks.

He knew he wasn?t going to get the job that year because it was too late in the season but he gave me time to think things through, he gave us good guidance, and when it came to doing the work, he really worked with us.
Description of Work: Gino Ledonne Concrete totally redid my driveway. They had to re-grade it, take out the old asphalt, pour new concrete, and put in a parking area and steps.

+ 0 moreWe had contacted Gino last fall; he came out, gave us some good advice on how to approach the problems with the driveway and then told us honestly, it was too late in the season for him to do a really quality job. We were pleased and surprised at his honesty, because we see concrete work being done in all sorts of weather, and we felt sure, that he was giving us good advice to wait. When we contacted him the second time, he answered all our questions, drove us to see other work he had completed, so that we could see the quality of the work and different finishes available to us. We are so pleased, everything went completely on schedule and the results are beautiful. His team of workers said that this was one of the largest jobs that they had ever poured in one day; they worked so well as a team and did a great job. Gino truly had an eye for how it would look. He kept assuring us, we would love it and we do. We would highly recommend Gino, he truly brings years of experience to his work and takes pride in doing a great job.
Description of Work: We had a very long, steep asphalt driveway which was too slippery from having been resealed year after year, it was cracking and needed to be redone. The job included excavation and disposal of existing drive. The new drive included a parking pad 23' x 19', and a driveway that began at 24' and gently slopped and curved to 17' at the street. The concrete was 5" thick, with wire mesh and expansion joints. Gino did an excellent job of leveling off and resloping as needed to make it a safer access.
