I would not recommend this company. They performed fire escape inspections at two of our commercial properties and charged an outrageous amount for each. To make matters worse, they failed to communicate their payment terms upfront and then demanded full payment immediately upon receipt of the invoices?totaling thousands of dollars. Their communication throughout the process was unprofessional and unnecessarily rude. There are plenty of other companies that offer the same services with better transparency and professionalism. Look elsewhere.

I needed a professional engineer to evaluate the structural integrity of my house and garage. Gary was selected because of his credentials and integrity. Easy to work with by not talking over my head, so to speak, and plainly explaining the issues at hand. I would highly recommend him for evaluating you structural engineering issues.

Needed a structural engineer in a timely manner for a real estate deal. Set up the appointment with Gary for 5 days later. The morning of the appointment I received a text from an unknown number about a cancellation. I tried to contact Gary several times with no response. I later found out (after the appointment), that it was Gary texting to cancel because the property was too far away. He had the address for 5 days, confirmed 2 days prior, so my guess is he either ignored it or just didn't feel like taking the appointment that day. The real estate deal is now in jeopardy of falling through. If you are looking for a structural engineer that is professional and reliable, I would look elsewhere. I guess, in the end, I'm glad I didn't rely on him for anything needing structural integrity, because he has none. Be better Gary.

Gary was very helpful in understanding the extent of the damage in a garage in a home that we hoping to buy. He assured us that the garage was safe to use and told us what we needed to do to stabilize the garage for the future. He provided good cost estimates and clear picture of the work that need to be done. Further, he fully answered all of our follow up questions very quickly.

Gary surveyed my project, provided the analysis of his design, and provided signed/sealed documents in just 11 days! He has a straightforward approach, which means you get results fast! He was more than willing to discuss any details regarding the design. We had several discussions regarding the questions I had about both the project and the process of design. I told him that I wasn't yet sure if I wanted to use a steel post or a timber post. He gladly updated the drawing to include BOTH options, so I could decide at a later time. This detail included the specifications of both posts and how they were to be tied into the rest of the structure. And, he has the most competitive prices in the area! I definitely recommend Gary for your structural analysis requirements. I plan on working with Gary again on future projects.

I have used Mr. Miller twice for my decking project. Both instances involved getting a structural engineer to certify design changes as this was a re-build and the building inspector wanted to be sure that I would do the work correctly. He answered both my concerns in a timely fashion with the appropriate documentation and I was able to proceed with my project.

I was told the process would be in depth and that I would have a report before the end of the weekend. What I really got was an extremely unprofessional engineer who charged me over $400 for less than an hours worth of work and then provided me with a single page report with 1 picture. This report was to summarize the damage done by a fire in my home and the effects it had on my steel support beam and the foundation wall that were twisted and shifted out of place.

Gary is amazing! We asked him to analyze a structural issue with a retaining wall and he offered excellent advice and provided exactly what was needed. Highly recommend!

Email communication was confusing and there were multiple typos on the final report. However, he was quick to respond, he negotiated a competitive price with me and gave me practical ways to fix my problem.
