FST ELECTRIC

We had a power outtage to the entire house. Originally, we thought it was Duquesne Light, but found out on Friday afternoon that it was a problem with the service line into our house. I was able to contact Felix around 3PM on Friday and he came over to take a look. He estimated the job at $500 and said he would be able to come to do it over the weekend. Felix repaired the line into the house, took down the old line and some heavy pipe it was run through. He made some repairs to the box. He handled everything with the permit and the inspection. He cleaned up when he was done and we were very satisfied with the work. His price was reasonable, he got the work done when he said he would and was very personable and polite. I will definitely use him again. Also, it was nice to have somebody who would work over the weekend and not charge us extra for it.

His name is Felix Shields. He is good. He is willing to work with the person. There have been no problems with the electric since then. He has done work for me in the past. I would use him again in the future.

He is unbelievably organized. He is very punctual. He is always finished with the job when he says he will be. You can trust his word because he is very honest.

A tenant called and told me that their bathroom ceiling light fixture was not working. I called Felix and asked him if he would be able to go over there during a time when one of the tenants could let him in. We scheduled for a time later that week. I requested that he call me when he got there to let me know what he found out and what my options were. He did exactly that. He got to the property when he had said he would, the tenants let him in, and he called me to tell me it was a faulty switch. He replaced the switch and left. For billing he stopped by my house two days later when I was holding a yard sale with a bill, which I paid then via check.

This guy is great. He was easily able to fix some of them and he was very willing to show me what he did. Some of my fixtures were probably originals (1934) and the bulbs were stuck in the fixtures and couldn't be removed. He tested the power and suggested buying new fixtures and showed me how to wire them myself. He only asked me for $15 or $20 when he was done! Use him especially if you're interested in watching and learning.
