All the work was done and it looked fabulous. BUT whoever they hired to put in the new hardwood floors placed the flooring over the living room heat vent and disconnected the vent in the basement. I contacted them by phone (twice) and texted (twice). I was told by text they would be out next week to fix it (September). NEVER CAME. I had to hire someone to cut the hardwood floor, install a new heating vent and reconnect the furnace vents. So, based on this I would NOT recommend them. They got their $$$ and din't come back to fix a mistake.
Description of Work: After a pipe break in a unoccupied rental home, the entire first floor had to be redone; painted, new hardwood floors, new kitchen cabinets, new pipes, etc. They did a great job working with my insurance company from Feb-July 2017.

As I just said above, they are unreliable. Took more than a year to finish, and did not finish. After all that time and money I had to hire another plumber to finish the dam work. I am more frustrated than I could ever say and could not recommend them to my enemies!!
Description of Work: Hired then to demo and and redo my townhouse. Took more than 1 year and they still have not finished. VERY FRUSTRATED latest, leak in the ceiling. It is literally endless. I have given up and have hired another plumber to actually finish the work. Could not recommend to anyone, entirely too unreliable.

Description of Work: House fire. Placed a new rubber flat roof. Even though I thought I had a ten year warranty, I called to do a repair on the roof. The rubber on the roof is 6" away from the seam of the roof now in 2014. One guy told me an inspector would be out today. When I called a 12 noon to ask were he was, I was told me that they did not want any liabilities. I told them that I would pay put of pocket but they refused to come.

I live in Charlotte NC. A renter burned down my house in the western Pittsburgh suburbs in October 2010. I contacted Firewater to rebuild. I got a comprehensive estimate and was impressed by that. Work started in February 2011. Note that it is now October 2012 and the project is STILL not completed. Several employees managing my project have come and gone in the meantime. Scope changes were not documented. Thankfully I still have the emails for those. On some items they skimped and others are good. For example, kitchen was so bare bones that no provision was made to install a stove. On the other hand, the recarpeting was done well. The electrical sub contractor they used did not finish the work and faked a final code inspection. Most employees do not return calls, answer emails or follow up on promised details and estimates, this includes the owner. The owners father is the "gatekeeper" and answers the phone in order to screen. If I had to do this again, I would not use this company. I don't recommend anyone use them unless you can sit on the owner to insure your project is done by reputable sub contractors and that you document every contact you have with them. Would not be surprised if the company shuts down due to incompetence.
