Description of Work: Evans Roofing was contracted to replace a gutter and a second downspout along a very long side of the house. A seamless gutter was created and installed along with the extra downspout. | |While we originally told that the job would be scheduled for the second week of October, the job was then promised for some time in the first 2 weeks of November. While we were a bit anxious about the delays when Mr. Evans called to schedule the job, he and his crew stuck to that appointment and arrived as planned on Nov. 18th around noon. | | They completed the gutter/downspout installation as contracted. So far, we are pleased with the work done. Only a heavy rainstorm will be needed to determine final success. | |Thank-you. |

Description of Work: Evans roofing lined my front and rear box gutters and repair a leak that was improperly sealed on my rear gutter. They took before and after photos per my request and all of the work looks great. We have had several heavy periods of rain and have not noticed any new water infiltration. They were very professional and performed the job exactly they said they would when they said they would. We are very happy with the service they provided

Description of Work: AFTER TRYING 2 ROOF REPAIRS ON AN 85 Y/O PENNSYLVANIA SLATE ROOF (I WAS TOLD BY SEVERAL CONTRACTORS THE ROOF NEEDED REPLACED AND BY THE HOME INSPECTOR WHO SAID IT ONLY HAD 2 YEARS LEFT ON IT WHEN I BOUGHT IT IN 2004--THIS WAS BEFORE MR. EVANS GOT INVOLVED). MR. EVANS PUT A NEW RUBBER ROOF ON. SO THE $6800.00 INCLUDED BOTH REPAIR ATTEMPTS AND THE NEW ROOF & FIXING INSIDE DAMAGE. I BELIEVE MR. EVANS WANTS TO MAKE HIS CUSTOMERS HAPPY. HE TRIED THE REPAIRS FIRST AT MY REQUEST, AS I WAS TRYING TO AVOID THE ROOF REPLACEMENT BUT I KNEW IT WAS JUST A MATTER OF TIME. THIS RUBBERIZED ROOF WAS 1/2 THE COST OF A NEW SHINGLE ROOF AS QUOTED TO ME BY 2 DIFFERENT CONTRACTORS PROBLEMS THROUGH SOME HEAVY RAINS.
