Description of Work: The salesperson was very professional and knowledgeable. The carpet installers prompt and efficient. I was highly satisfied with the work and carpet.

Description of Work: They did my laminate floors downstairs and carpet upstairs.

Description of Work: I callled Empire to have an estimate on carpet installlionn. The salesman kept telling me I had to give him a 10 in rating since all he got was 10s, he mentioned this several times and even asked me if I would give him a 10. I told him I wanted the installion of the carpet on a Saturday, he told me there was no problem in having it installed on Saturday. For confirming the appointment I asked not to be called till after 3:30pm during the week, when I confirmed the appointment I was told the salesperson said I was not available till after 3:30 on Saturdays. untrue. On Saturday I was told the the carpet people would arrive at 11:45am, they did not arrive till after 2:15pm nor did they call to tell me they would be late. The carpet installers were hard to understand since they did not speak English well, gave the wrong card number when confirming my payment, did not do as I instructed about putting the carpet on th whole floor then telling me to lay more floor tiles rather than the installers putting the carpet to the door, told me the 36 year old carpet needed replaced due to my dogs, didn't clean up, left a huge stain on my rocker chair, didn't put down a carpet molding on one door, didn't replace all the furniture which I paid 50.00 extra for, the installers gouged my wall in three places...............overall my experience was an F though I do like the carpet I choose. I am going to tell anyone who will listen to run the other way rather than purchase carpet from Empire. I did receive a call from Empire about my complain, they send the corp manager of installion to my place. He noted and took pictures of all the damage and the poor attitude of the installers, tomorrow, 10/14/2011, different installers are coming to fix the problems though I have to submit an estimate for the cost to repair the damage on the walls and send them a bill for the cleaning of the rocker cushion. I still would not recommend Empire to anyone even after they fix and pay for the damage. Overall even though I like the carpet the experience has left a sour taste in my mouth.
