I am sure he would have done a great job.

Great. Second time we used Matt and crew this year - old home and new home and both experiences were great. For the new house we just gave Matt the key and they came early each day and locked up at night. They did a great job and are very friendly and professional. They even cleaned my skylight windows for us since they are so high. Will definitely use Matt again but I hope it is a while before we need to hire painters again!

They did a great job. Their crews did really well. They were very professional and the craftsmanship was okay. The bid they gave was the second lowest of four bids. There were a couple of issues with the work but they did a good job overall even though I found some spots with the painting that needed to be cleaned up.

I am disappointed by the service I received. I scheduled a painting estimate during a work day and took time off of work to get home. They never showed up. I called and left a voicemail and never received a call back.

Matt and crew did a very nice job. No drips or mess whatsoever. They needed to prep and prime one wall that has wallpaper adhesive residue and now it looks great. They were all friendly, courteous and professional. We would use them again and recommend to anyone needing painting work to be done. Thanks to Matt, Sam and Brian for a job well done.

Good experience - very good job and they were very fast and efficient. one bad - my dog pulled toilet paper out of a waste basket with chewing tobacco in it and it spilled onto our floor. So I wasn't thrilled that one of the the workers was chewing while on the job and even more unhappy that he just put the tobacco in a bathroom waste basket...could have been a perfect experience without that.

My experience was good. We had the two same painters come to my home for the next 2 weeks, which I liked. They had good attention to detail and it looked nice afterwards.

Bought the 2 painters for 8 hours for $449 Angie's list deal. The responsiveness, quality of the work and professionalism were excellent. They were hard workers and completed the job in the 8 hours. There was no spackeling, primer or repairs needed. Two coats and all the trim work were done and two coats applied. The ceiling was not done. They did a fine job. Price breakdown of the $449 for 16 man hours of work translates to $28 per hour which still seems moderate. The coupon says that the more expensive regular price for the manpower is $600 for 16 hours which would be $37.5 per manhour.

I contacted Egan Painting by email and Matt Egan came out a day or two later to give me an estimate. The painting was scheduled for 4/22/13 and Matt and Sam arrived early and got right to work. Matt had estimated it would take 3 days, but on the second day they worked through their lunch hour and a little past their normal quiting time and finished up in 2 days. I was able to take advantage of the Angie's List special of $450 for two painters for one day then the regular rate for additional days so I got a real bargain. They did a beautiful job, including some extras like polishing up some woodwork, they were friendly and it was a pleasure to have them in my home. I recommend them highly.

I had two painters do the job. They were pleasant and did a beautiful job. They worked the whole contracted 8 hours plus a little more to finish the clean-up. I am very pleased with the quality of the work done.

I was very happy with every aspect of the work Egan Painters performed. The owner, Matt Egan, came out early to introduce himself and his workers. The two workers who painted were very professional and friendly. They were punctual, took a short lunch bread and worked efficiently and quickly. Overall, I give Egan Painters an A rating! Will use them again.

We bought one of the deals for 2 painters for a day. They did such a great job, we hired them for 2 additional days to finish the rest of the work we needed to have done. We were repainting most of our interior. They were fast, on time, and did excellent work. We will definitely call them again. They did what they said they would do for a very good price.

the painters were professional and pleasant. at the end of the day, they offered to vacuum, but I had to do this anyway, so I declined. I thought it strange that they did not have the type of sand paper available to prepare the entry wall before painting. I knew that there would be prep work involved, but did not know how much until the tile was removed. one of the workers had to call the owner because of the adhesive residue left on the wall. it did take time to remove, but they did not go over the time that was agreed to in the Angie's list offer. the other issue, is that they used only one drop cloth between the two of them working in different areas of the house. the entry floor was very difficult to clean afterwards. one drop cloth should have been in place while the entry wall was being done. there is still a few spots on the floor I have to get a special cleaning product to remove as they will not wash off.

Matt and his crew did a great job. They were very professional. We are very happy with the results.

A wonderful experience...friendly, clean and professional. They did a fantastic job of painting...and were meticulous about covering up counters, floors, etc to protect from paint splatters. Would highly recommend.

My two painters from Egan Painting arrived on time and immediately started working. They arrived with all the necessary tools and clean covers for my carpets and furniture. The guys worked very hard all day and happily did anything I requested of them (i.e. pulled down a light fixture, etc.) . They did an absolutely wonderful job which included a small amount of patch work, painted my kitchen with two coats, painted a bedroom with two coats, and even managed to paint a small stairway ceiling for me. Both guys were very nice and polite, and did their best to work around my crazy household. I will definitely have these painters back to complete more projects for me. I would highly recommend them!
