+ 1 moreAs always Rich and Doug provide exemplary service. I have been dealing with them for over 20 years and any remodeling will always be done by them. Their attention to detail is evident in the finished product. The screen and door had minor scratches. New ones were ordered and re-installed. Additionally I feel extremely comfortable leaving the house while they are working. Several years ago my dog escaped while they were at my home. Rich ran through the woods to catch her! I had another project that I wanted them to do but they did not feel confident they were the best company to do it. However, they provided me with another resource who was outstanding. Any recommendations they make are always excellent.

+ 3 moreWe know that Diamond does excellent work, and they didn't disappoint here. They completely reconstructed our finished basement into a wonderful entertainment room. They converted our first floor office into a bedroom. And they converted our first floor playroom into an office. We love all of the new spaces. We looked at several contractors, but dealing with Diamond was different. Rich couldn't have been more thorough, and he guided us throughout the whole process which we needed. Diamond's crew along with the plasterer, electrician, etc were enjoyable to have in the house. We were happy to have the project completed, but we were sad to see the guys go.

They presented us with an outstanding plan, including a beautiful interior ceiling, that is the highlight of the sunroom. They finished all work on time. They are friendly, professional, and reasonably priced. We look forward to working with them in the future.
Description of Work: We have a 25 x 12 ft. sunroom that had a glass roof that we wanted to replace with a conventional roof.

+ -1 moreIn the end, our porch is squared up with the house and the deck and is once again level and fitted up tightly with the house entries. A beautiful work to behold! Thank you Diamond Construction and Remodeling for giving us back our porch.
Description of Work: In the early ‘80s, we had another construction company add a covered porch to our house. Over the years, the fasteners that they used to attach the porch deck to the house band board had corroded away and the porch deck had slid down 3 - 4 inches making for dangerous entry through doors and, in general, unsafe conditions. We hired Diamond Construction and Remodeling to make the repair. The working conditions proved to be very tight and in many ways seemingly inaccessible. The porch deck was not more than 1 ft. above ground and the work required working between the porch deck joists from above. The Diamond Constuction carpenter, however, managed to do it beautifully, pouring concrete pilings for 6x pressure treated posts with code required notches for the double 2x beam that he constructed across the full width of the deck and properly bolted in the 6x notches with code required Simpson Strong Ties or the equivalent.

+ 7 moreWe were the designers on the job for the Kitchen and Pantry of a recent home addition project. We worked closely with Diamond Construction on all of the details. His eye for detail was great. The communication and understanding what we were trying to achieve in our designs was seamless. If there was a question, he called us immediately. All of the subs were extremely respectful and we would like to work with them all again. We work with many contractors and in our opinion they are one of the best we have worked with.

+ 11 moreWe hired Diamond Construction to build a kitchen addition onto the back of our 100 year old house. They converted our old kitchen into a half bath and added a deck. Rich Hubner gave us the most detailed bid and explained where we might run into issues because weight-bearing walls would have to change when we opened up the back of the house. There were bumps in the road, as can be expected, but these were handled promptly. They always kept us in the loop on delays and cost overages, which were all reasonable and appropriate. The owners of the company are brothers, Rich manages the project and the Doug is onsite doing the work with one or two others. We were very happy with their subcontractors for plumbing and electrical and will use them again. Even the neighbors liked them. The Diamond Construction team is great to work with. They are clean, reliable and do excellent work. We could not be happier.

+ 1 moreVery professional people & excellent communication. I did not have attic access & they installed new steps including required framing. I added insulation & flooring to have storage space. And added an electrical outlet so I could have a lamp. Everything went smoothly & they were done in 2 days. Floorboards had to be cut to get them up into my shallow roof pitch of an attic & were screwed down over the new insulation. I also bought extra rolls of insulation to get a price discount so we could place this additional insulation farther away from the steps in the future. We’re very happy with the results!
