Description of Work: We have used Dave Langer and his partner Kirk for a few years now doing a variety of jobs: recently they did a total remodeling of one of our bathrooms (gutted the bathroom down to the studs). They are exceptionally skilled craftsmen, very easy to work with, highly ethical, excellent communicators, and have a real commitment to high-quality. Their prices are competitive. They have terrific ideas about what will work and a real "eye for quality design." I didn't feel we needed an architect. They are sensitive to cost: they tried to save us money by looking for the best products at a reasonable price including us in every decision or explaining how they could re-use existing elements to save some money. They are organized and CLEAN! Every day, they would clean up the work area (the project took several weeks yet we didn't feel any strain). On any large project, like this, delays can occur (e.g., a product didn't arrive when it was supposed to) but Dave kept us fully informed. Also on any large project there are unexpected "field adjustments" (their term); they both fully communicated about each change prior to making the change. We enjoyed having them in our home and are extremely pleased with all of their work.
