Description of Work: Replaced a knob and tube wire, with romex, reconnected/rehung all fixtures that were connected to the replaced circuit. | |What really surprised me is they were able to rip out the old wire, replace it with a new wire and rehang the fixtures, while only creating 2 holes in the wall about the size of double gang electric box. Impressive when you consider the wire was pulled up a interior wall, and though the ceiling in multiple rooms to switch light fixtures. I had another electrician state they would have to cut out a "trench" in the ceiling and wall to replace the wire. | |If you have any knob & tube in your home, these are your guys. The job was done in a day, and had a very minimal impact.

Description of Work: Dave came out and gave us an estimate for our electrical panel upgrade. He was very professional and courteous. However the problem was with the big deal not the company. The big deal states that you pay $49 for an electrical panel upgrade which is a $600 value. however when Dave came to give an estimate he stated that the big deal is for $600 off of a panel upgrade and that the work would be almost triple the amount of the "discount" just displeased with the misleading wording of this "deal" and not able to really use it.

Description of Work: We had lightning strike an outside outlet, they replace wires inhouse, in shed and replaced outlet. We here within an hour when I called them. Very nice even the insurance adjuster was pleased with their price.

Description of Work: We used an Angie's List coupon for a 200 amp electrical service panel, as we still had fuses in our house. We also had a whole house surge suppressor added as well as needing to have two circuits on a mystery fuse box under our stairs rerouted to the main service panel. Dave was very clear when he came out for an estimate as to what would be done and how much it would cost. There were no hidden charges in either the estimate or when the work was done. John came exactly on time and was extremely professional and explained everything he would do an how he would do it. We are very pleased with both the work completed and everyone at CW. When John left, you would never know he was there, except we now have a new service panel and whole house surge protection!

Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal for a whole house surge protection and Electrical Audit.

Description of Work: Came out for an estimate for lighting issues and recommend first trying new bulbs, based on the type of bulb and how often they are in use. That fixed the issue and services were not needed. I would not hesitate to use them for any electrical issues I may have in the future.

Description of Work: We need to upgrade our electrical panel as well as install a new power line to our garage. Dave from CW came to the house to take a look around. The estimate was exactly in line with other companies I have heard from, however, I would use CW because, unlike other folks I've looked at, this is all they do. In a matter of seconds Dave had easily assessed the problem areas and given feedback on what needed to happen, where others who had seen this before took much longer. It's quite clear that this is his field of expertise and he is extremely knowledgeable. He was also extremely thorough. Our estimate arrived the next day, the amount was very reasonable, and also, Dave was kind, polite, professional, and easy to work with. He did an excellent job of answering my questions, and when we go to get this work done, we will most certainly be using them!!
