My husband spoke with Mr. Hoak on the phone right before the holiday, explained the problem and an appointment was made for immediately after the holiday - so very prompt. Anthony showed up on time, diagnosed the problem, explained his fees and what needed to be done. He completed the work quickly, was friendly and professional. We will definitely call them for any future electrical problems.

This is the second time I've used CW Electric in less than a month. The guys showed up on time. The did a great job and were fast and efficient. I noticed that Tony even cleaned the wall after he was done. It is really great to work with this friendly team - they are always so helpful - I am glad I found them and I will use them again.

Performed estimate promptly the day after I called. Quick, courteous and professional. Estimate for replacing some wiring/box in attic. Worked with our schedule for coming back to complete the work. I would without a doubt call them again for future electrical needs and recommend to friends or family.

We called for estimate for some electrical work and Dave called and promptly came out for the estimate. About 1 week later they sent an electrician out to install our outdoor ceiling fan and the job was completed in a very timely manner. The service people and the installers are very professional and very nice and work efficiently. I would highly recommend this electrical company to anyone who needs good, fast work done.

I bought the voucher but wasn't quite ready for them due to other work that was being done. They were flexible with that. When I was ready, we picked a date, they showed up on time and were professional for the entire job. All in all a great experience. I would recommend them to friends.

After a lightning storm, we blew a circuit and couldn't get it to work after flipping the breaker. I called CW Electric and Chris came out later that morning to evaluate the problem. He arrived on-time and was very friendly and professional. He quickly located the problem (a short circuit likely due to a lightning strike) and removed our dishwasher from the circuit so that the other outlet on the circuit would be functional. I asked him how I could prevent such a problem in the future and he recommened installing a whole-house surge protector. He returned at the appointed time the next work-day, and installed the surge protector in 15 minutes. He made sure I had all the paperwork I needed in order to fulfill the warranty on the product. He was punctual, professional, and friendly.

The price quote to have a 100 amp service replaced with a 150 amp service that had an underground feed was $4000. One other quote from another on Angie's List was $1650. Another contractor who was not on Angie's List quoted $1200. All vendors were given the exact same information. I know something about this work and knew what questions to ask and what challenges I should make to the work descriptions. Watch out for the sweet talk.

We called CW Electrical on a Friday afternoon looking to get an estimate for a bathroom fan installation and adding a new circuit to our electrical panel. We received a call back on Monday and Dave came to our home on Wednesday of the same week to provide us with an estimate. He was very polite and courteous, thoroughly investigated the areas for work to be done. He went over the options for the work done, making sure to give us the most accurate and complete estimate for the work to be done. The next day, he called and scheduled with us a day to have the work done, a week later. On the appointed day, Chris and Tony arrived from CW on time and reviewed the work to be done and checked out the areas to do work. They started work right away and were nothing short of terrific. They were courteous, professional and friendly, worked efficiently and were able to overcome any obstacles they encountered in working to complete the job. They finished the job in a timely manner and when they left they thoroughly cleaned the work areas and the results of their work exceeded our expectations. Not only would we use CW again for future work, but I would request Chris and Tony for their professional manner and excellent workmanship.

The run from the electric panel in the garage to the kitchen presented a challenge but the guys managed to complete the job with a minimum of disruption in relatively quick time. They answered any questions I had during the installation and were always polite, never condescending. Would hire again in a heart-beat. Highly recommended!

Dave was friendly and courteous. He arrived when he said he would and worked quickly but was not rushing. He explained about bathroom outlets and their special test/reset feature. At no time was he condescending. When he left, we felt more knowledgeable and safe, and we had found an electrician we will now use going forward. It's always scary to move to a new state and not have any list of companies and people we can contact as needs arise. This was our first Angie's List hire, and it could not have gone more wonderfully.

The price that CW Electrical Services LLC quoted was very reasonable.

We needed an whole house inspection done on our house, I purchased the $39.00 coupon which saved us. David said he would have a quote for us in a day. Called him 2 days later for the quote and they were out 2 days later to ground our breaker box. The only problem we have now is waiting for city inspector to come out. But CW is working to help us get this done before we move.

I contacted CW Electric because I had a light switch in one room that just pooped out and consequently I had no light or ceiling fan in my bedroom. They were very prompt in calling me back and scheduling an appointment -- as well as assuring me that I didn't need to worry about my house catching on fire because of this problem. We had to reschedule twice, once because the owner's wife had a baby and Dave (the guy I was working with) was doing his job as well as the owner's, and once because the transmission in his vehicle died. So it was a few weeks between our first contact and the work actually getting done. It was an inconvenience for me, but not really a problem, and Dave stayed in touch with me throughout. Today he showed up right on time and in about 20 minutes had my problem all sorted out. Will definitely contact CW Electric again. I need to do some more extensive work on the electrical system in my house and they'll be one of the companies I contact for bids. They were great. Dave also gave me a discount since we had the scheduling problem -- which was much appreciated.

Anthony did an outstanding job. Dave had responded the same day to my call, and scheduled Anthony to come out. He was here right on time and did a very thorough inspection to identify the problem, which turned out to be in the breaker box and not in the outside line where I thought it might be getting wet. His diagnosis was very thorough and he fixed everything, even replacing the outside outlet with a safer GFR version to prevent future problems with moisture. He changed the bathroom outlet quickly. Dave had given me a ballpark of $150 for the project, but the total price was less than $140 with parts and labor. Throughout his time here, Anthony cheerfully answered all our questions and kept us informed of his project. I'd definitely hire CW again and I'll be sure to ask for Anthony.

They were great. They gave us a quote quickly. They were able to accommodate the time we needed the electrical work done by.

I called CW Electrical Services in February to get an estimate on rewiring my home. Dave scheduled time for the estimate within 24 hours. I was impressed with Dave's profession friendly manner and he provided information on what would be done how long it would take to complete the job. I had explained I was not planning on having the work done for at least 2 months as I didn't want to be without power, even for a short time, during the Winter months. This was not problem for him. I received the estimate within 24 hours by email and was very pleased at the amount. I called on May 1st to schedule the work and was scheduled to have the work begin on May 4th. I was very pleased that the work could start so quickly but Dave explained that since my job would only require 2 days they could start me before they got into their heavy season. Dave told me that the crew would be there at 9:00 A.M. Tony and Chris were there on time and began the work.I had planned to be without power for the day but was provided with some power by 11:00 A.M. They work was completed on Monday, May 7th. Throughout the time they were here they worked quitely and efficently. They cleanned up after themselves and left no mess behind them. Both young men are great representatives of C W Electrical Services and I am extremely pleased with the work they did. I would recommend this company to anyone needing electrical work.

I really liked him a lot because he knew that the job we wanted may be covered by insurance so he wanted us to call and make sure before he did any work. I felt that he wasn't trying to push his product on me. When we begin work on the project I will definitely hire CW Electrical Services.

For the original bid, Chris showed up when he said he would. Then, over a period of several weeks, I spoke to Dave and changed the scope of work about three times - nothing was to much trouble and a revised bid was quickly emailed to me. We landed on a date, and then something came up and thought I might have to change it, and they were willing to change it with a smile (didn't have to though). On the second work day, I indicated I had to leave at a certain time, and they accommodated me with a smile. When the porch light instructions indicated that it required a certain type of wire, they were very re-assuring and indicated that they would check it out and run the special wire if it needed it (it didn't). CW Electric's actual bid was typed out and clearly outlined each job with details about the equipment that would be installed, such as...... "Remove existing electrical panel and equipment and dispose. Install new 30CKT, 100A Cutler hammer CH series panel and breaker, all breakers included. (Lifetime warranty on both CH panel and breakers) Install all existing electric ckts into new panel. Install all aluminum conductors with an anti oxidant protectant (Noalox). Includes independent 3rd party inspection." Compare that to another, hand-written bid on a single piece of paper provided to me in a JPEG file that said...."Update main electrical panel with new, 100 amp breaker panel." Note that the CW Electrical's bid clearly indicates that 3rd party inspection is included. My other bids were silent about inspection and when I asked, the response was..."Oh, if you really want that, it will be extra." The team - Chris and "Rock" - who visited my house to do the work were highly skilled, showed up when they said they would, cleaned up after themselves and did a great job. I asked to see their proof of insurance, and they provided it quickly. They even have workmen's comp insurance which is really good -one other bidder on my job did not have it. All in all, CW Electrical service is a very responsive, professionally run company that does great work, accommodates its customers with a smile, and provides good value for the money.

I spoke to Dave from CW on Thursday afternoon and explained that the electric receptacle for the dryer in my new house did not match the dryer cord. Monday afternoon Chris arrived and looked at the receptacle and found that it was a receptacle approptiate for a range. Chris changed the receptacle to one specific for a dryer. Altogether it took him about twenty minutes to diagnose and correct the problem. Chris was pleasant and professional and courteous every step of the way. I will definitely call CW electric again.

Contacted CW Electric after hours and left a message the following evening. Dave contacted me the following afternoon to get more details. We spent a good 10-15 minutes talking about what had occurred and what may have been the problem. He concluded it was not necessary to come out and look at my electrical system, but if the problem happened again I should give him a call and he would come out and diagnose the problem. I was impressed with this company's willingness to talk with me about the problem over the phone without insisting on coming to my house and charging me for an unneccessary visit.

I would absolutely recommend them. My overall experience was excellent.

He was very thorough and explained everything in great detail. I felt like he was very honest, explained the steps and what steps would be more urgent and which steps I might be able to put off. I had an electrician do a lot of work back in 2006 when I first moved in and I will be having CW Electrical back out to do the work for me that was not previously attended to. They seem to be competitive in their pricing with other companies.

They were excellent. They did what I needed them to do and it worked. We had a house inspection where someone required something that wasn't required by Code. In several cases when we asked the service provider to do those which were not required by Code we got a long lecture about it and in this case they just understood that we needed it and did it. They did it quickly and effectively.
