The electrician was professional and efficient. He did exactly what we asked, and we were pleased with the quality of the service. He drilled through our wall to run a line outside and made sure to seal it. He also rewired existing switches so the new light would have a dedicated switch.

When the provider first tried turning on the dining room light switch, the light came on briefly and then flickered off. Having seen that electricity was able to get to the light, he told me he thought the problem should be solved fairly easily. I followed the provider as he conducted his inspection. Having worked on fixing the problem myself, I was able to point out the circuit breaker involved and to point the path of the wires from the breaker box to the opening in the basement ceiling where the wires proceeded upward to the upper floors. I also pointed out to him the second floor fuse box where the break causing the circuit failure was located. The provider then presented me with a bill for $247 minus $20 for an Angie's List discount. This was the first time the cost of the provider's service was discussed with me. I was expecting an estimate on how much it would cost to fix the problem. I didn't realize how much the provider was going to charge just for diagnosing the problem.

I bought 2 light fixtures for my kitchen. One was a paddle fan w/lighting and the other a flush mount. The existing fixtures are two flush mount domes and I bought replacements to update the room. I talked with Dan and he was extremely courteous, gave me a fair estimate, but as is typical of me, I wanted the work done "now." Dan was great, but it wasn't possible to have it done in my time frame, so I am actually using another electrician that I found on Angie's List who was able to come sooner. The work by that electrician has not been done yet, but when it is, I will post to Angie's List. I would recommend contacting CW Electric to friends; though I can't vouch for their workmanship, I can honestly say that Dan was very knowledgeable, honest and extremely courteous. In my years of dealing with craftsmen, the first impression is usually a good indication of what you can expect. Again, had CW been able to come out sooner, I would have had them do the job.

They were very professional, clean, and prompt. They came in and did the work as asked. As good as an electrical company can be. Overall I was very impressed because other contractors we have had come in were not as professional as these guys.

They were very prompt with the response. We thought the quote was pretty reasonable for everything we had to do. After the service was done, they were perfect. We had a little issue with one of the things that they did and they came back right away and fixed it and it was perfect. They did a pretty good job. The quality was very good. They were very professional.

Individual who came out was courteous and polite, and solved all of our issues rather quickly. The solutions did end up meaning that old outlet covers were ripped from the wall, though (they were wooden and glued in place). Unfortunately, it was not considered part of the service to clean up remaining wood chips on the floor or clean the old glue from the wall before reattaching the new covers. I'll have to scrape it off myself when I get a minute...

Very well, technician arrived promptly, professional and courteous. Had me back on the grid in less time than I had expected. Couldn't be happier with the service.

They did not show up within the time frame. I called and had to leave a message as no one was available. 45 minutes later I get a call from the project manager - full of excuses. People on vacation, dangerous profession, etc. I did not care. I wasted almost the entire day waiting for them. He showed up at 2:30. Everyone above the age of 3 has a cell phone. This electrician couldn't have called? I was terribly disappointed as I had more work I wanted done. My business will go to another company. It is unfortunate as CW is local and I have been very pleased in the past.

Bill was extremely professional and worked quickly. We have additional work to be done in addition to fixing the connection to the garage. We will definitely use CW Electric to perform this work.

the techs were friendly knowledgeable, polite, tidy and worked well. however!!!!!! with both appointments we had scheduling issues. to be fair our personal schedule is difficult, but the first app.t finally took place 21 days after my first phone call......and after impressing up on us how dangerous the situation was with our cable issue, the follow up appt. was seven days later and the rescheduled at the last moment for another week. i was not concerned about the 1st appt. we could live without lights in the living room, we have a large house. i was less pleased about the 2nd appt. they did install a whole house surge protector free of charge by way of an apology. i will certainly use this company for all our future needs.....and you should too!

CW Electrical Services LLC., (CW) was one of a number of electricians contacted in a hasty set of calls to secure verification of inactive Knob & Tube wiring within a 100 yr. old house set to close 4 days from initial contact. CW was upfront on service, price, and was very upfront as far as if they could schedule the task; which initially they could not - but kept me in mind when deciding the next morning's calls. Roughly 6pm, 4 hours after initial contact, I received a phone call asking if the job was still available and that they could in fact do the job the next morning 9am. CW showed up on time, in a presentable - professional manner and promptly began work. Taking steps to review how they tested, ways that I could test in the future, and signs to look for - CW did not just do the job and leave, they made sure I was educated as well. CW reviewed all light fixtures, outlets, and traced back all Knob & Tube wiring to their source. CW completed their task in a reasonable amount of time for the shear number of electrical outlets, fixtures, and line of wiring. CW finally left the property without any visible impact.

Great. The crew of 2 came 20 minutes early and put in a full day's work. They cleaned up after themselves and stayed focused on their work. I would certainly refer this company.

Calling to schedule my appointment was quick and painless. I wasn't sure if I wanted work performed and they thoroughly explained their processes including getting a quote. Due to other scheduled work on the requested day, they could not give me an exact time the technician would arrive but stated they would call and let me know when the person was on their way. The day the work was scheduled for, the first appointment ran long and I was unable to remain at the address to have work performed. They were very reasonable and accommodated my request to reschedule. On the newly scheduled date, they called when the technician was leaving their prior appointment and arrived as promised. The issue was explained and resolved fully in approximately an hour.

He explained everything to my husband during the process. He was very informative about the most cost effective way we can take care of things. They also had a warranty. They did forget to leave the paperwork with us and we did have to follow up but, everything was good.

I originally went with these guys because there was an Angie's list big deal for $49 dollars for $600 towards a 200amp circuit breaker. I also got them to run a new line to my new electric dryer. They were on time, and very nice, and cleaned up well. They also answered some general questions we had about the house and its electric system which was informative.

One evening I started having problems with power in my living room flickering on and off. I called CW the next day because of all the great reviews on Angie's List and I didn't want to take time to talk to friends, neighbors, etc. to get referrals. I was supposed to get an estimate the following morning which thrilled me because I wanted this fixed ASAP; however, due to problems at another location, my estimate appointment kept getting pushed back until mid-afternoon. After hearing about the issues at the previous location, I'm glad my appointment was delayed as it would have been horribly unprofessional to leave that problem. This did worry me though that maybe this would happen again if I did hire CW to do the work. After talking with Dan at CW, I was reassured and decided to go ahead and set up an appointment. They were extremely accommodating to make up for the delay during the estimate, and I really appreciated their attitude with this. Not all companies are as helpful, even if they are apologetic. Originally, CW believed a connection was the issue and to fix that would cost approximately $250. The technician that came to do the work, Tony, was great in explaining what he was doing and why. He showed me several parts to my electrical panel and pointed out how the wires went through junction boxes throughout my basement. Tony started with the connection, but it didn't solve the problem. After troubleshooting and more explanations, Tony ended up replacing a wire and breaker in addition to fixing the connection between a couple of wires. Obviously this added to the price, but because Tony showed me what he was doing throughout, I was comfortable with the final price and the results. He also told me the work is guaranteed for five years which always helps when writing a check! I do wish this extra cost could have been discussed as a hypothetical possibility during the estimate so that the difference in price would have been less of a surprise, but my house is old and I'm just glad it didn't cost more.

The electrician they sent was very professional and prompt. The fan went up without a hitch and it's been two years now and has worked like a dream. I am very happy with the overall experience.

He came on time and asked to see the area to be serviced. He told me how much the cost would be for a little additional work. He began working right away. He completed the work and showed it to me. I was satisfied. I paid him and he left.

Dave came out to put an estimate together. He was punctual and very professional. He provided a detailed estimate as well as helped talk me through some other things that were setup in the house. I wasn't at the home when the work was complete, but everything seemed to be done correctly (I'm obviously not an inspector). Overall it was a good experience. My only complaints would be some more minor things and just attention to detail type stuff. For example, the electrical panel box was not put back on. Whomever did the work in the basement must have tripped over a bucket or something as several of my paint items were on the ground and dented. The biggest issue is actually something that could have been rather serious. One of the lines they ran was live and not capped off at all. It was then set on a metal plumbing piping. Needless to say I discovered this when I went I grabbed the piping while installing something else. Was quite a shock to say the least. Prices were fair.

Called Tuesday morning and Dave was out to our house on Wednesday. He provided a thorough inspection of our electrical panel and found that the main service feed was properly sized for the service panel for our house. No upgrade was necessary. Dave also provided us with options regarding the outdoor outlet on our back patio. Estimated price for this repair was very reasonable. Overall a good experience with CW Electrical. We previously hired them two years ago to install recessed lights. Will hire them again once we find our new house.

First off, they gave me a quote over the phone and kept too it when the service was performed. The other places I called wanted to come out and when they did, they looked for other things to do that I didn't ask for. CW understood exactly what I needed done and did it.. as simple as that! How refreshing the experience was considering how companies are these days. They arrived precisely when they said they would and performed the work in less than 2 hours! I would use them again and plan too on another property I own very soon!
