Scheduled us in for the next day which was appreciated. Electrician was polite and worked fast, he even brought replacement parts with him so we didn't have to reschedule for additional work. And he fixed the problem with our smoke detectors, for a reasonable price. Will definitely use them again.

CW was awesome. They were professional, prompt, and did a quality job from the gentleman who came to give the estimate to the actual electrician who did the work. I would highly recommend them to anyone needed electrical work!

Arrived exactly on time. Work was completed exactly as described in estimate. Very fast. Left some trash when cleaning up but not too much. Overall, a very nice job for a decent price.

Chris was awesome. Not only was he able to respond the same day, he called and asked if he could come two hours early (which was more than welcome with a slowly-warming refrigerator). He took his time to diagnose the issue, checking the breaker box and each outlet for problems. Finally, he discovered that a child safety device had caused an outlet to unexpectedly overheat and melt in on itself, ultimately severing the wires and cutting the circuit. It could've caused a fire! He carefully took out the old outlet, cleaned the wiring, replaced it with a tamper-resistant outlet that did the job automatically and even replaced another outlet in another room that was threatening to do the same. He checked all the other outlets for the same issue, tested everything, then cleaned everything up and put everything back. Best part: he only charged me for the truck fee, not the materials! Reverse sticker shock.

We used this service and were happy with them. Recently we called them, over a period of 3 days, to schedule another appointment, and the never returned our cll. It is not ly unprofessional, but irresponsible. I would not contact them again.

One of our two pillars was hit by a vehicle. We called CW and Dan set us up with an appointment for the upcoming week. Dave come by and gave us a two estimates. One was to re-wire a new light fixture if we choose to rebuild the pillar. The other to remove the electricity if we didn't want to rebuild. We choose not to rebuild and Chris came out and removed the pillar light from the circuit and ensured the other light worked fine on the other. Great team effort from CW Electric. We will definitely use again in the future. Thank you.

I've used them twice. They do quality work. They were on time, knowledgeable, and very professional. One electrician came out.

It's been awhile, so the price might not be what we paid. But I recently joined Angie's list. Here's what went well: - Fast bid - Affordable - Prompt work - Friendly when setting up the job Here's what didn't go well - Workers went into areas of the house that were pointed out as off limits - Workers left muddy footprints on carpet in off limits areas (that's how we knew they were there) - Fuse box installed behind main drain in basement, which was then described to us as a code violation: "You'll need to move that drain because it's a code violation." - Entire room of replaced wiring does not work - anything that gets plugged in trips the switch. We're paying a second electrician to fix this - Workers broke a glass lamp and didn't tell us - we found it later - Workers were asked to rough in fixtures to account for 5/8" drywall on ceilings - they instead roughed everything in at 1/2" We worked with Chris to try to resolve the situations - especially the fuse box. He eventually knocked some money off of the original price to give us money to replumb the drain line that was blocking the fuse box door. I tried to continue contacting Chris about some of these other items, and he eventually quit returning my emails. It was easier to give up than to continue to chase. As such, I'm on Angie's List looking for a new electrician to fix the work that was done by CW.

Everyone I talked to at CW electric was excellent. I worked with Dan when scheduling my appointment and Chris was the electrician who stopped by the house. We had previous issues with the lights going off randomly and had another company in to try to resolve the issues (this was before we had Angie's List). The other company switched our breaker out from a GFI breaker to one that was not GFI and therefore our house wasn't up to code. We also had issues with the lights in the master bath going out after a couple of minutes of being on. Chris came in and was able to recommend solutions, trouble shoot and fix all issues in no time. He also identified a switch that was going bad and fixed that as well as installing a new doorbell. I would highly recommend this company and they will be my go to for any electrical work in the future.

This was my first project with Angie's List, and I'm very glad that I've joined and used their referral. Chris was at my home right on time, with a smile on his face, and ready to go. He went immediately to work and understood the issue in a short time. He performed the work professionally and explained exactly what had happened in language I could understand, pointing to the area where the problem occurred. He also explained potential future maintenance I could consider, and I will contact them again when I'm ready to do that. Chris was very courteous and professional, and I'd welcome him and CW Electric back to my home anytime.

Two electricians worked in our house for two weeks (10 working days). The wiring was installed through our attic floor and through the walls. Although this was a big and difficult job in some instances, they performed the work with professionalism and care which we appreciated although some holes will have to be repaired. They tried to minimize any damage that had to be done. At the end of every work day the work area was cleaned up so we could live without hardly any interference. All employees of CW Electrical were pleasant and easy to talk to and work with and were very considerate to our needs. From the first time they came out to give us an estimate until right after the work was done, they were punctual, polite and professional.

line for dryer was done well and quickly. Was unable to do anything about a socket on a fan light and couldn't repair an outlet because the line was buried under a deck door so he cut the current so there wouldn't be a safety problem. THere was a problem with my tv where he had been working. I called the company because I thought it was related to what he had done. The company called me back and the service man returned and since he was delayed on another job they sent another serviceman out also. They tried to help with the tv which turned out to need a new cable box. Although I thought the price was a bit high it was right in line with other quotes I received from other companies. Everyone involved was very courteous.

Husband & I purchased 2 flush-mount ceilings fans for our low-ceiled bedrooms upstairs. We've used CW before and been pleased, so we contacted them again. They couldn't come out for about 3 weeks; but that was OK because it was a cool spell, anyway. Came out right on time on the 21st (first day it got hot out again) and installed the fans. Great job; they look great & work great. And - he left no mess for me to clean up! Yay! Price was very reasonable for the work done. Thanks!

Chris and the guys from CW are great. They are responsive and respectful. We have other projects we want to do in the future and plan to bring them back.

This is our third time using CW and highly recommend. They answered my call and set up estimate for the next day. They came out and the estimator took his time to explain what he recommended to be done and was confident they could do it quickly, with one person in a few hours. We had a previous estimate done that gave me the "scare factor" and said I needed extra stuff done and at least 3 people. He was reassuring and straight forward. They scheduled it the next day and came out the beginning if the next week. They were on time, efficient and the technician was polite and professional. The work looks great.

All I can say is "Thank you!" We first found CW Electric in 2011 through Angies List. Had Chris and his team out to our old house to install some recessed lights. Very impressed with the work and it continues to this day. We purchased a new home a month ago and shortly thereafter realized we had an electrical issue with the house. We were having wild fluctuations in power throughout the house to the point that I scheduled an appointment for someone to come out and diagnose this issue and do some additional work. Well that day has yet to come, as we had an emergency at our home early last week. While running the dishwasher and dryer, the A/C kicked on and the lights began to widly flash throughout the house. Some lights popped, GFIs tripped and we lost power to part of the home. No breakers tripped in the house so we knew we had a big issue. Called CW that night and left a message. Spoke with Dan in the morning and he promised to call me back by the end of the day and fit me in the schedule as soon as he could. Dan stuck to his word and called me at the end of the day and had someone out to my house the following day. Chad came out and took a couple hours to diagnose the issue. Called Dan and squeezed us in for the following day. Chad spent the entire day and then some at the house (I think he was there for 10 hours, and that included someone coming to help him for a couple hours during the middle of the day). Chad was very polite to my wife and kids and took his time to do a great job. We were very impressed with his work. Keep up the great work. You've got a customer for life.

The tech was great!! He arrived on time, dressed and acted professionally and was very pleasant. He looked at the job I wanted him to do and quoted me a great price. He quickly went to work and got the job done very fast. He cleaned up after himself and explained what he did and the warranty. I will only use them in the future.

I needed the repair quickly. They came the next day, replaced the outlet. I later had them install a new outside line and panel box. I was given an estimate over the phone but did not receive one in the mail as promised. When they came to do the work, there was some confusion with the charge for the surge protector. It had been misquoted as to the terms of the warranty. This was the only problem I had. They completed the work, cleaned everything up and very professionally.

Very polite, knowledgeable electrician and well as the person who came to my home to give the estimate. The install was perfect.. I was so impressed at how much time the electrician took in measuring, and choosing the place for the new lighting. The electrician had to go into my crawl area attic and I mentioned that I would like him to cut around the insulation and replace it after the running the wire. After he left, I went up to check and it didn't even look like the insulation was even bothered with. After the job was completed the electrician swept and cleaned up. Very happy customer. The bonus for the electrician was that when leaving, the neighbor across the street asked him to come and give them an estimate on a new circuit breaker entrance. The neighbor told me he knew I always hire the best and felt confident this company would do a good job for them. They did and the neighbor could not be happier.

It went great! The switches have held up fine since they did the work. They’re our go-to electricians now. I stay with them over their competition because they are incredibly responsive and overall impressive. They came out on Veterans Day and didn’t even charge us! Highly recommended.

It went well! The inspection went well and he found a bad outlet. He repaired that outlet and I'm very happy with how it went. He was very thorough, and he was very knowledgeable and helpful in answering my questions. His explanations gave us peace of mind. I'd say he went above and beyond because he was very friendly to my kids and did great work.

Electrician showed up on time, was nice and friendly, he did a great job. The thing I am not happy about was a hidden fee. I called several companys for a price when i called cw electric they quoted me $415 for the job. I said great plus i had a $20 buck off coupon from angies list. So i expected the price to be around $395. when i went to pay he said its $445 . there was a $50 travel charge!! I was not told about the travel charge. had i known that i would have gone with someone else!

The guys showed up promptly at 9AM and completed their work within the time estimate. The work was very neat, and the gentlemen were very courteous in answering all of my questions. If I need electrical work done in the future I will certainly give them a call.
