Contacted CW Electrical Services through Angie's List email. CW responded and phoned. We scheduled an appointment for May 1. 30 minutes after the scheduled time and CW did not show up for appointment, we phoned them. They said they did not have an appointment with us, however, CW was the only electrician we had contacted. Again we explained to him over the phone the work we wanted to have done and what CW told on the first call was exactly the same as what we were told when we called when they did not show up.

Chris was prompt and courteous. He was able to fix the lights with no problem and it took less than an hour. The cost was exactly what I was quoted on the phone. Would definitely use them again!

Although the billing was confusing and we feel CW's fees are on the higher end, they were able to respond quickly to our job and do what needed to be done in order for us to host our first event. There were some issues with CW following up on residual electrical problems however Dan was helpful in ensuring that these problems were fixed. In the end we have been very satisfied with Dan, Chris and Tony's professionalism and willingness to stand by their work. They are knowledgeable, thorough and tidy.

The estimator that came to the house was punctual, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the job and what would be required. He helped coach us through what would be appropriate given the size of the room, and his recommendations were spot on. The install was scheduled for roughly a week later (couldn't believe it!), and the two man crew arrived on-time. The lead installer had over 30 years of experience and took the time to explain what was happening and why (I ask a lot of questions). He initially came off slightly abrasive, but he was just trying to prepare me for what could be a mess in the house due to all of the holes that they had to cut. Thankfully, he described a situation which was much worse than what we were actually left with. The hoods that they use when drilling really minimize the amount of dust created, and they shook out the drop clothes multiple times to cut down on the air particles. While they didn't have a large selection for dimmers/switches, the installer was more than willing to go to the hardware store to match what I had in the house already (very impressed). Additionally, while a pain in the tail, they were willing to wear and swap out their booties throughout the duration at the home. I'd highly recommend CW and will approach them for all future electrical needs.

Shame on me that I didn't start with these guys. I called Gillece and was informed by coworkers that I had made a bad choice. Gillece came out and quoted me $7,800 for the exact same job. The team at CW Electrical Services were / are A+. I called them on a Wednesday and spoke with Dan in the front office, Dan put me in touch with the project manager on Thursday, who diagnosed my problem over the phone (identical to Gillece diagnosis). On Friday, they sent out their project consultant, who walked me through all of my options and costs. Their electrician showed up at 8 AM the following Tuesday and had the work completed in almost 7 hours. After they completed the project, everything appeared good with the exception of the upstairs bathroom - no power. I called them up and they explaine what the problem "probably" was and how to fix (matter of finding the correct gfci plug and pushing the reset button). Thank you to the team at CW for treating me so well. I will definitely go back to them in the future if I am in need of any work.

The contractor did not need not do anything, as I stated above. I would like the $49.00 back, as CW Electric Services LL stated I should get back.

Very please with the service from this company. The crew was polite and professional and kept things clean. They answered any questions we had and made sure they understood what we wanted before starting. It was a long job and things went smoothly. We'll use them again.

Failed to keep their appointment and I lost my money. Sucks Angie's List stated that I asked for my money back to late. You have only 30 days from your purchase date to get a refund and by the time I realized they were not coming and I asked for a refund it was too late.

Just bought a new home that was fairly old. Electrician provided great service and seemed very knowledgable. Reasonable prices. Will definitely make this company my go-to when in need.

They were punctual, very polite, gave recommendations and work quickly. Even had them come back for an estimate for another job and will definitely use them again for our next project. Pricing was very comparable to other electricians and they currently were offering a discount if you received the information from Angie's list.

I am very pleased with CW Electric ---from my first phone call (that was answered), to the estimate (met me on time and was very helpful in explaining the project), to the technician (Shawn) who arrived as scheduled and worked straight through until the project was completed... leaving the area in which he worked cleaner than when he started. This review is not technical since I do not understand electrical work. I had the job done because a realtor said I could not sell the house with such an outdated electrical system. However, I trusted CW Electric throughout the process and would use them again.

It did not go at all. The provider never called me back to schedule service after telling me that he would. I suspect he never called me back because he knew that I would stand up for my rights if I received bad service. He was aware of a previous extremely bad experience I had with extremely bad service where I stood up for myself and demanded and received a refund for bad service.

Technician arrived on time and completed the work in the expected time frame. Very professional, very clean installation. Scheduling was difficult because they are very busy (many people must like them), but it worked out in the end. I would absolutely hire them again for any electrical work that might need done.

Technician arrived on time and provided an accurate estimate of the length of time the job would take. Cost was consistent with the estimate.

CHRIS, is amazing. He installed a new light fixture in our kitchen. He also put in a electrical outlets in varies rooms in the house. Has even changed light bulbs in very high hanging fixtures in our house.

They ended up charging me $2000 for the project. They said they did this and that, and they had another electrician come from a different company. They said it wasn't done properly and it wouldn't pass the inspection; so then I had to pay more money to have it fixed before my whole house was on fire. I was not happy about that. They were friendly, but it was bad. They were responsive and they were on time.

The service went okay. One electrician came out and completed the inspection quickly. He was nice and scheduling was easy.

Electrician showed up without confirming time of arrival. Quoted 149.00 for troubleshooting and to fix issue. Electrician only had to press GFI button to reset and total time of repair was 30 seconds. Disappointed with service charge for this service. I called the office twice to speak with someone and no one picked up. I finally had the technician call so I could get through to someone. I still had to pay $99 for the service and will not be calling back for future electrical repairs needed.

Went extremely well.

CW electric was great during the whole process. 1) Dave did a walk through with me at the start of the job. I showed him my final vision for the space and the lighting I wanted and where I needed outlets. He took careful notes, made helpful suggestions, and talked me out of work that he didn't think was necessary. 2) CW electric was significantly cheaper than the other quote I got. (I know I should have had a third quote on a job this size.) It was a difficult job to quote, because we had a mess of various generations of wiring crossing key spaces were we wanted to change the layout. 3) They were great about scheduling. When I needed them and then patient until other contractors finished their work so they could finish the job. Of the various trades we needed to work with CW electric was the easiest with regards to scheduling. At one point, they had some other urgent work. Dan called to ask very politely if they could reschedule some work for a day or two later. At that point, they were not on our critical path, so I didn't mind at all and I told him that. Nonetheless, they added a whole house surge protector at no charge for my inconvenience. 4) They had great attention to detail. They sourced some great under counter LEDs and just replaced little things that they found (such as replacing an old indicator lamp with a new LED indicator). 5) Once we had finished materials in the work area, they were scrupulous with putting down drop clothes and covering their shoes. Unfortunately, the plumbers I had the same day were not so good and learned nothing from their good example. At least, the drop clothes from CW protected the carpet from the messy plumbers!

I had three possible dates set up. To date I have never heard from CW Electric 12/05/14 Just received the bid. Nothing was ever mentioned about having the new main box installed with the $600 install that was mentioned in the Angies Original Offer. I have asked for a clarification of their bid. JOHN GODSHALL
