Description of Work: This review is actually based on several experience with CW Electrical. I have called CW for several relatively minor issues, although they were all important to me. The last time I called CW was b/c I was woken in the middle of the night by an extremely loud popping/buzzing noise coming from an outlet in the bathroom. I called as soon as the shop opened, and explained my issue and my concern b/c the noise was quite loud and scary sounding. The person I spoke with took my concern seriously, and dispatched someone to the house that day. It turned out that the outlet in the bathroom had shorted out, and it was an easy fix. I honestly don't recall exactly how much it cost to repair, but I remember that it was very reasonable. In fact I've been incredibly pleased with the cost of service on every call to the house. I absolutely would not hesitate to use CW for any project, big or small.

Description of Work: We hired CW to repair several electrical issues before we occupy our new home. The electrician, Tony, spent two days repairing every issue pointed out by the home inspector. He was professional, responsive and he cleaned up after every task. He also went out of his way to explain things to me. I found the project manager,Dave, very helpful as well. Both he and Tony respectfully talked us out of drilling holes in our stone fireplace to hang a plasma tv. It just wasn't about the money and I appreciated their honesty and re-direction. I definitely will call them again although I hope we don't have any issues any time soon!! Thanks CW!!

Description of Work: Installed a bathroom exhaust fan - a new installation. Also installed 7 pot lights in basement ceiling - new wiring. Job was a decent price and work was done professionally. We have had several driving rains since the installation and the bathroom ceiling has not shown any problems so obviously the roof installation was very well done.

Description of Work: I had used them before and they did a great job so I called them again for other projects. I was having my ceiling replastered and called them because I wanted a pot light put in. I told them the plasterers were there. They told me they would send the area supervisor that day and they would work around the plasterers. They never showed up. The plasterers were there for 2 days and the electricians never showed up. They showed up after the plasterers left on the third day and told me they would have to put in 5 holes in the ceiling to get the pot light in. Needless to say I was not about to have that happen and told them they were supposed to come when the plasterers were there so the holes could be fixed. So I sent them away.

Description of Work: I have nothing but praise for Dave and his workers. I highly recommend this company !! This is a short but to the point review====use this company to do work that you need and you will be very pleased.PERIOD

Description of Work: CW Electrical Services LLC put in 1200 amp service and also lines in my yard for my pool. They came on time and got all of their work done. They still need to get me a cover for one of my plugs. They have kept all of their promises. They had to come back the next day to get the rest of the work done. They were all fun to deal with.

Description of Work: Our lights/outlets outside the house were not working. Dave came in time -- we had scheduled for estimates. However, he immediately found the problem and solved it. Personally I had tried very hard to find the problem. Dave made it complimentary. I really appreciate this spirit as I know he had spent time to drive a long way to meet me and check out everything. Kudos .. will definitely rely on him for any future electrical issues.

Description of Work: CW electrical was very responsive and neat. they did the work we asked for, and fixed a few "projects" we started but did not finish. they fixed some light fixtures, hung a new over-the-range microwave, installed two outdoor ceiling fans and a flood light for the back yard. Wiring had to be run for the fans and outdoor flood light. we are happy with the results.

Description of Work: Had 3 wired in smoke alarms replaced. Technician was prompt, courteous, efficient, & competent. Work was done neatly. One alarm malfunctioned within a few days; due to a communication snafu, my request for service was overlooked, but was done promptly when I reported the problem. I was more than fairly treated by Chris, the owner, who aplologized personally & took care of the work himself. I would recommend & use CWE again. Everyone I dealt with was pleasant & professional.

Description of Work: Showed up on time (actually a few minutes early). Professional, polite and personable. Did everything we wanted and less -- actually explained we did not need a new bathroom fan as we thought. Just fixed the switch that was at fault. Saved us over $200 as a result. Also made some suggestions about how to consolidate some future work into renovations we are planning. Could not be more pleased. Will definately be asking CW to bid on our upcoming home addition project.

Description of Work: Chris called me back the same day. He came to my house on the next working day. He installed an above the stove microwave. Home Depot was supposed to install it, but they were unable to complete the job because of some problems with my existing wiring .He had to install a 120 line into the wall and then bring it through the cabinent. Chris went to the store to get some brackets which were not included in the installation package.He installed 5 new light fixtures and moved one fixture from one place to another. I He also removed all of the old fixtures. I had an exposed electrical smoke alarm which he removed and covered with a plate.He replace two outlets in my kitchen which somehow stopped working after I painted the kitchen. He was extremely pleasant, polite and listened to everything I said. He went about his work in a timelyand non- intrusive fashion. It was by far the best experience I've had with a contractor. He took $20 off for first time Angie's list customers. I didn't even ask . I highly recommend Chris and this company.

Description of Work: I emailed CW and Chris called me on Monday at the specific number I gave him for the time of day. He and Tony came out on a very specific date when I could have someone available, to do an overall electrical inspection; I got the Angie's list coupon deal on that. I have an old house with many needs and they gave me immediate need/safety suggestions at one estimate and then gave an estimate for a complete house overhaul. They were very polite with my elderly mom and very solicitous of the dog not getting out when they came to do the work on April 22.They told me exactly what they would do on Friday and what they would finish on Monday. It is not Monday yet but I can tell you that they were prompt, neat, and never stopped working; they cleaned up their mess and never complained about the rain. When it comes time for whole house rewiring I will definitely use CW. The communication is great and the in home workers very polite. When they turned the elctric back on they went to every outlet to make sure they were working; Cory and Tony were thorough and hard-working.It could not hace been easy to move the electrical box and re-configure some wiring- in a dark and cold basement- but it looks great now!

Description of Work: Upgraded electric to 150 amps. New outlets, including outside outlet and a secure new outlet which I needed in my old basement (sandstone walls). Old, potentially dangerous wiring was securely rewired. Couple old outlets with only 2 prongs changed to 3 prongs. Chris was very personable yet professional. When I called about an issue, he came over the next morning and corrected it to my satisfaction. Even the building inspector said what a great job he did. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.
