Showed up on time and took steps to make sure they didn't get dirt on the carpets during the work. They ran into some issues when they opened the fireplace and found that much of it had been mortared in, so they had to clear it out to make room for the insert. This cost extra but was not unreasonable. The finished product was beautiful and everyone who has seen it loves it. The overall cost was a little more than I planned to spend but I don't think it was out of line with what we got out of it. Overall very satisfied.

We will have new gas logs and fire screen installed in our living room and a gas insert installed in our family room upon completion of our renovation.

Our family couldn't be more pleased with the services provided by Comfort Living Fireplaces. We have been putting off repairing/replacing our non-functioning wood fireplaces for more than five years. After we received a quote by another local company to put holes in our walls and completely rebuild the fireboxes and hearths with a price tag that was cost-prohibitive, we contacted Comfort Living Fireplaces. They presented us with customized options using digital renderings to show a reasonable and cost effective solution by installing gas inserts that met the needs we described during our consultation. Unfortunately, due to a mix-up in the office, we were delayed in receiving the renderings and quotes which resulted in the and quot;Band quot; rating, but talking with the owner, Kathie, this is rare occurrence. Gas lines were routed to both fireboxes, and we are impressed with how cleanly this was done. There was no damaged to the finished ceiling in the basement, and the placement of the lines on the exterior of our home are discrete. As installation continued, it was determined that an additional piece needed to be ordered. The company returned upon the parts arrival and were incredibly helpful adjusting the insert to suit our preference. Again, we cannot be more pleased with the finished product, and I have greatly enjoyed working with Kathie and her team. We would recommend their services in the future, and we look forward to having their support in homes that we purchase in the future.

Excellent customer service from start to finish. They were very responsive on the initial visit and delivery of the bid. Also extremely helpful on visualizing how the fireplace would look in my home. All followed up with prompt installation on date and time established. Comfort Living Fireplaces is that rare company that combines professionalism with great customer service and two really great folks to work with!
