The service has been horrific. They don't always send their techs out. Techs have disrespected my home and caused damage. The bill has been incorrect several times.

It went horribly. The installation concluded at around 7pm that evening. My husband had briefly used computer and all went well. The next morning, Sunday we no longer had wifi. My husband contacted them and they told him there was nothing they could do other than send out a service tech on the following Wednesday. I called later that evening and the technician I spoke with said that it was either a software issue or an upgrade issue and he assured me that the wifi would be up and running Monday morning. Now its Monday morning and the wifi still isn't working. Finally after numerous phone calls (approximately 5) and several hours talking on the phone with Comcast, we finally got our wifi to work on Tuesday afternoon. This was one of the worse experiences Ive ever had with Comcast.
Description of Work: Installed wifi for all of our wireless devices.

A service technician was available so quickly so my address to restore cable service.this is also my internet provider and I needed to have wi-fi for my job as an on- line instructor to have access to my students at all times. Do rely on comcast for all your technological services. I have relied on them for over 25 years now and want to encourage others to choose them over any competitor out there.
Description of Work: A storm had blown through the area, knocking down cable lines. Comcast had answered our requests for help and restored the service in less than 24 hours so that I could watch my favorite tv show which was airing a season finale that night.

He was very professional and I have no complaints regarding his service Issue is pricing is way too high. They do NOT call u if price is reduced and ate not clear and conseice when communicating their various programs and associated costs

When I did have problems with my cable they did come out in a reasonable amount of time and sent a knowledgeable service tech.
Description of Work: When I got my initial contract with Comcast it was for internet and TV for 2 years for 95.00 and I was to get a $100. Amazon gift card. I never got the Amazon card and when I called they send you to a company that there whole purpose is to lie for Comcast and talk in circles and never give you the card. My guess is that its cheaper to hire those people than to pay the $100. Also my rate increased every 6 months even though it was to be the same for 2 years. I dropped the TV service and bought a smart TV and there is much more on there with Netflix, Youtube and archives on sites to give you a lot more to watch than what's offered on cable. If you subscribe to Netflix and Hulu and Amazon there's a lot more and better quality to watch and it's still less expensive than Comcast. Now I just have to find a less expensive internet provider.

Comcast raises it rates with impunity. It camouflages the discounts it gives new members while charging long-time subscribers ever higher rates. Charges rent for modems and other devices, which I've learned, could be bought outright, elsewhere, for less than one year of rental. Internet speeds are lackluster. Cable TV quality is so-so. And Consumer Reports rates Comcast among the worst providers of cable and internet in the entire USA. No one in DC seems willing to regulate this monstrously bad company. Someone must be on the take, somewhere.

COMCAST DISCRIMINATED AGAINST ME. I tried to order Comcast's "Interned Essentials", which is a program to provide internet to the poor at a reduced cost. Comcast would not provide this service to me because, although I am poorer than many people ON the program, I do not have children receiving free lunches at school. Comcast DISCRIMINATES against the poor, who do not have children. Therefore, Comcast REWARDS (and thereby encourages) people to have children for whom they cannot provide. DISGUSTING.

I called Comcast for information and was told by the customer service representative that Comcast was the only provider so I should just sign up as there was no other. I hung up instead and won't be calling back.

There is competition; another company is available, but what made us go with it is the customer service from Comcast. They have been very responsive when we had any issues at all; when we had just cable TV before they started offering phone, etc. Somebody answers the phone twenty four hours and they get back to us on service calls.

I dislike that the programs they show you on television are not worth the money you pay for the service; not even close. I don't have any other options in my area. I am at their mercy and I think they know that, so that is why they don't give you good programs. For what you get, the price is F. I am not satisfied with them for sure.

I've been pretty pleased with their service. There has been a little mix up with the bill, but that has been resolved. Anytime I called them with a problem, they would call me right away.
