COLUMBIA MARBLE CO

We chose a marble slab from Terry O'Neill's yard at Columbia Marble. We have dealt with many contractors over the years, and Terry was by far the most unprofessional, dishonest, rude, and petulantly childish we have ever seen. He was weeks late in coming to take field measurements, never returns phone calls, and completely skipped an appointment with us. He is lazy and does not care about his customers. When he finally arrived--after we nagged him to death to follow through on a contractual obligation--he complained over imaginary problems that our architect had already explained to him. He stormed out after less than a minute despite all of our efforts to appease him (which we now regret--not worth it) and told us to "go buy a pedestal sink." This man does not want your business and does not care about your satisfaction. He's completely incompetent in his trade and in business. Stay away.

GREAT SELECTION OF MARBLE. EXCELLENT WORKMANSHIP. HIGH INTEGRITY: WHEN THEY MADE A MISTAKE CUTTING A HOLE FOR A FAUCET, THEY FIRST ASKED IF WE WOULD BE WILLING TO HAVE THEM PUT ON AN ESCUTCHEON TO COVER THE HOLE. BUT WHEN SAID WE FELT IT WOULD DETRACT FROM THE CLEAN LINES OF THE COUNTER, THEY AGREED TO MAKE A WHOLE NEW 12' COUNTER!
