Cleaning for Your Home

DO NOT USE THIS PERSON TO CLEAN YOUR HOME. She is argumentative, unresponsive and a very poor housekeeper. I gave this person four opportunities to professionally clean my home. I left room by room instructions the first two visits, labeled every product and tool the third visit, and left work to show her her "problem" areas on the forth visit. I spent a total of four and half hours cleaning my home after she left on two separate occasions to right the areas she missed. I would like to say she can at least clean surface dirt but I would be lying. Corners and under appliances aren't cleaned by her; rugs aren't moved to clean the floor around; anything above 5 feet isn't cleaned (showers, dusting). I tried several times to call and discuss the areas I believed weren't done correctly. She would say, "I understand... I will do that next time..." And again that area wouldn't been done correctly. I resorted to written letters with complete instructions and check off lists, but that also was ignored. Example: I left instructions to vaccum and mop my new tile floors with Pinesol. She used HARDWOOD FLOOR POLISH! After I had to re-clean four floors, I decided this wasn't going to work. I called to cancel her service, and rather than parting ways professionally, she argued with me blaming me, my house, my pets and a number of other excuses. My advice: LOOK FOR SOMEONE ELSE. DON'T PAY THIS WOMAN TO CLEAN YOUR HOME; SHE DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO CLEAN A HOUSE PROFESSIONALLY. The old saying rings true: you get what you pay for.
