Great Price Great Service! I could not be happier with the services that we received at Chianelli Designs. I brought in my Grandmother's wing back chair to be reupholstered. Ms. Chianelli was very kind, patient, and knowledgeable in helping us pick out the right fabric for our chair. Going in we had no idea what to expect but we could not have been any happier. I was so concerned with giving such an old family heirloom to someone to fix because you never know who will do a good job and who will do it like Pinterest. Mr. Chianelli clearly has a love for furniture and treated our old chair with the respect that I was hoping for. He kept all of the original framework while replacing all of the pieces that were appropriate to keep it functional for our family. He says that this chair will be able to be passed down to my children's children and I believe him! We also had an ottoman that went with the chair reupholstered. I requested an additional slip cover for the ottoman because we have children and a dog (previous to being reupholstered this ottoman was the only furniture the dog was allowed on, to look out the window). Mr. Chianelli reupholstered the ottoman and made a slip cover for the ottoman as well.

Very professional and courteous but the price was a bit too high for me.

I was very satisfied with the work. I brought the chair to his work center in my car. The owner greeted me and told me the company was founded by his grandfather 70 years ago. He looked at the chair and realized the price he quoted was too low because the cain was of a different variety than the one he had in mind. He said the price was going to be somewhat higher and he would call with the exact price. I agreed to the repair. I picked up the chair the following Tuesday. While waiting to pay for the chair, I was ushered into the office and offered Christmas chocolates. I also talked to Mr. Chianelli's mother. It was a shame I had to leave because I was enjoying myself. My only complaint was they never called me back to confirm the exact price. However, this complaint was overshadowed by the warmth and good feelings I had in his office.

I just had my living room repapered, & the hardwood floors refinished. It looks great, but it made my old loveseat look pretty shabby. It's 30 years old, but we love the style, & you can't get furniture made this well anymore. So the solution was to have it reupholstered. I never had any previous pieces recovered, but knew of Chianelli's reputation. Still, I checked with a friend who is an Interior Designer. So I went over to look at fabrics, found one that I loved, and arranged for Tom to come to my house to give me an estimate. Of course, the material that I selected was one of their more expensive ones, but I worked with Tom, & we reached a happy conclusion. The restoration took about 3 weeks
