My business was created with the customer in mind I bring my shop to your home and all work is custom created by your designs. All the work is performed by myself and a few employees. No subcontractors are involved. All work can be by the hour or bid and I offer free estimates.

We paid Carl 50% down to do the work - about $3,000. The work was supposed to be done by the beginning of September. By mid September he kept giving us excuses. By the end of September he offered to give us our down payment back. We accepted the offer but then he never sent the money. We've now been trying to get him to give us our money back for over a month with no success. We are in the process of suing him over it.
Description of Work: We hired Carl to build beds and shelves for our daughters' bedrooms.

Response from carls custom carpentry
Full payment was refunded to the customer, I was having a few issues at the time and got over my head with a few other jobs and a few health issues and I could not complete his beds. I am a small business and I never in my life stole from a customer there may have been issues but I always worked to resolve them. So as I said He was refunded fully plus the court costs even though it did not get that far
