We have a set of hedges that got a bit overgrown from last year because the neighbor we share the hedges with had moved. You could tell Chris was busy with the spring season work, but he took the time to return our missed call even when his voicemail was full and we couldn't leave a message. Chris was professional and very polite. He even took the time to play with my dog for a quick second or two before going to work. Did a great job cleaning up too!

He was excellent. He had a crew that came and did a lot of work in about 5 hours. They cleaned up the yard and even cut down some wood for my fire pit (at no extra charge). He was very efficiecnt and the employees were very professional. They are very reasonably priced. I will probably be using them again before the end of the summer.

We are very happy with the job done.

Carl Gibbons team did a wonderful job of hauling all of the wood and logs off my property and did a nice clean up job.

Very well done. Job was done in two parts. First the large tree and removal. Next week was the branches and other debris which I had piled up after clearing a wooded area to the rear of the property.

Carl's Tree Service was outstanding. Carl answered all calls promptly and professionally. He showed up when promised. His price was outstanding & did a terrific job. He cleaned up afterward and even cleaned up other debris that was not in his quote. We are very pleased with his work & would definitely use him again and recommend him to anyone else.

I am extremely happy with the work that Carl Gibbons Tree Service did. Once I called and left a message I had a return call the same day and Carl was out to give me an estimate. I thought they were very good priced. The guys that were at my house were very friendly and professional. I could not have asked for a better tree removal experience. I would highly recommend. If i need any other tree work done I will be sure to call them back.

We received a prompt reply to our phone request for a bid to remove a very large tree. Carl visited on Nov 13 and gave us a quote. We accepted the quote and he and his team showed up to begin work shortly afterward. They were wonderful! They had to remove part of a fence to get at the tree and they carefully replaced it when done. They were friendly, hard working and very careful in bringing down the many large pieces onto the property. Bad weather and the Thanksgiving weekend slowed the process but all was completed to our satisfaction by the end of the month. I would not hesitate to use his services again!

The owner drove by and left an estimate to cut back two huge oaks. We agreed upon the price and they started the job within a week. The owner and crew came on time. Instead of using a bucket, the crew swung with ropes. This company did not provide the lowest estimate, but I choose them since they were timely with the estimate, professional, and insured which was necessary since we were dealing with massive trees next to power lines and houses. They completed the job within the time frame and cleaned up. Overall the job was well performed and I would use them again, if the need arose.

We never go that far, as we could not get an answer.

They never returned my telephone call for an estimate.

Carl was absolutely terrific. He called me a couple of days after I had left a message on his answering machine asking for an estimate. He came over on time, gave me an estimate which was half the price of the first estimate I had received, and said he could do the job the next day. The other contractors I had spoken with were not able to give me a firm time commitment about when they would be able to do the work. I was also impressed that he noticed a potential problem with a limb on another tree in my yard and said he would take care of that as well. About an hour after he left, Carl called back and said he would take another $100 off the price. He and his crew of 3 guys came the next morning, cut down all these trees, mulched everything and cleaned up very well after themselves.

I phoned about having two trees removed and they came at my convenience to give me a quote. Both removals were relatively simple jobs. The work was done very promptly and everything was extremely professional. I had already called two other places months before and had basically seen how bad it can be (didn't return calls or made appointment and didn't show up). The Carl Gibbons service was excellent. When I came home, there wasn't even the sign that there had been a tree there. They also ground the root out below the ground. The entire process was completely seamless. My only concern was not their fault at all. I have heard that trees such as my apple tree have a lot of value in terms of selling them for wood. I didn't mention it, but given that they sold the wood, was I technically ripped off? Who knows?

Responded to my call promptly. Came when he said he would. Took care to lay tarps over my neighbor's lawn, which unexpectedly (to me!) had just been seeded, and to protect it. Cleaned up thoroughly. This is the second dying tree Carl has removed from this hillside (which is not exactly part of my landscape, but I have to look at it).

Our two large spruce trees sat on the hill above our house. A few years ago the crown split on one & the braches and foliage had been thinning to where you could see right thru the trees. After a nasty summer storm & a nearby lightening strike we decided to have them removed for fear that they would fall on the house. The other trees would soon be growing into the wires. I called Carl & left a message. After much phone tag, for I was the one that was difficult to get a hold of, Carl came out & gave me the best estimate. I called and arranged for him to do the work. Him and his crew got everything done within a week. I would have never known that they were there, except that the trees were gone & the p**** willow never looked so good. They were very neat, Amazing!

Carl Gibbons gave the estimate on a Thursday. It was less than half another estimate I had gotten. He was ready to do the work the next day, but it rained. So he and his men came Saturday and finished that same day. The stump grinder cut an underground electrical wire, which Carl repaired the next day free of charge. All the workers were friendly and did their work in a neat and efficient manner. I had used the company in November, 2007 to trim six or seven huge oaks for $4500 and was very satisfied then too. There's nothing fancy about this company--on my jobs, they've just been good, honest and dependable. It was a pleasure dealing with Carl Gibbons.

They were efficient, quick, personable, and we will definitely use them again. The prices were reasonable as well.

Carl came out to give me an estimate the same day that I called. They were able to do the work the following morning. The tree was very close to my house and deck. Carl removed the tree without damaging either structure. They also did an outstanding job of cleaning up all of the debris.

I called about 2 months after receiving the quote and said we?d like to proceed and was told it would be about 2 weeks, possibly longer because of the weather ? completely understandable. On the morning they arrived, Carl told my wife that they would not be able to cut the tree down because there was no way to safely climb it. He said ?you don?t notice these things sometimes until you get a second look at them? (paraphrased) and then he left. He should have made this observation on his earlier visit ? not the day the work was going to be done. I have no complaints about putting safety first, but his slipshod and lackadaisical quote he gave us should be a warning to all ? DON?T HIRE THIS COMPANY!

He was outstanding. I left a message on his machine and he phoned me back within 30 minutes. He made arrangements to come and give me an estimate in 48 hours. The estimate that he gaveme was very reasonable. His men came out and did the job exactly when he said they were going to. They did a remarkable job. They were professional and competent. They cleaned everything up and it was as if they were never here; every piece of sawdust and every leaf was removed from the property. Not only from just my property but also the street and sidewalks. They did quick, efficient and safe work. I was most impressed with them.

AWESOME. Carl was very responsive. Returned my call later that same day and came to give an estimate the next. They started the job the next afternoon and completed it over the next couple of days, only because rain made it too dangerous to complete. Basically they worked in between raindrops. Carl is very professional and conscentious. He and his crew (4 men) work very hard. They were extremely careful where they dropped the branches and the trees so as not to disturb anything. They moved a very heavy bench in the backyard to get it out of the way. They cleaned up after themselves each day--VERY neat and tidy. I would highly recommend them to anyone. His price is very fair and reasonable. These guys work like dogs!

Carl promptly called back after I left him a message. He came to do the estimate when he said he would. Even though he suffered an injury after we agreed on a price and thought he may not be able to work for 2-3 months, he found a way to get our work done very promptly. He completed the work as soon as weather conditions allowed and charged exactly what he said he would.

He was terrific. He was very responsive and got back to me right away. He cleaned up very well. He was on time, actually early.

They arrived on time. Carl and both assistants were polite and friendly and went immediately to work. They cut limbs and lowered them by ropes. Though the tree was less than 1 foot from a fence, they never left a mark. On a different day, they ground out the stump (a thing to be seen to be believed) and cut a wildly growing Evergreen about 7 foot and gave it a much needed trim. Very professional. They were here when they said they would be, cleaned up so well one would never know a tree had been there. I can't recommend them highly enough. I had three other bids, from Angie's List, and this was the best price and I don't think I could have asked for better service.
