I had a Stamped concrete patio put in this summer , I have had numerous compliments , Calfo construction did an outstanding job. This company will definitely be hired when I am ready for my driveway , you will not be disappointed by the professionalism and this is a first class company who cares about the customer !!

Cody and team installed a 20’ x 50’ tinted, exposed aggregate driveway with a metal water trough to conduct water to a sump. Installation was great: slope matched existing steps and also eliminated water pooling regions that existed from the prior driveway. Also installed a matching 50’ walkway of equal quality. Cody listened to my needs and revisited to discuss my concerns to ensure I would be satisfied with his work. During installation, I observed Cody contemplating how he was to accomplish desired end result, which I interpreted as dedication to achieving my objectives. Quality counts in a project that you expect to last for years. Several months later, I had need of the replacement of the chimney crown. Although I wasn’t sure - at the time- that Calfo Construction performed such work, I called Cody’s office and spoke with Gina, a very pleasant individual. Cody came out and his team replaced the crown in short order. To the point, I am satisfied with the work performed by Calfo Construction and I would recommend Calfo for your consideration.

A Calfo did a great job and new wall is beautiful. Previous retaining wall was just slab of concrete worn down by the elements and new one is great

My ongoing project is going great! He is meticulous, caring, and goes well above-and-beyond. For example, we've been having to park on the street/in the yard while the driveway is being done and it really hurt the lawn. He put new soil and seed in the places where there was damage. I would HIGHLY recommend him for any job. FIVE STARS!

The service went good.

He did a very good job. It was very clean. I think we got a good product for a good price. Their work was excellent. I've actually had people come by and look at it and say it's a good work. You get what you pay for. We could have gone with somebody much cheaper and not gotten good work I think. I think he did a very good job for a good price. He was very good. They were here when they said they were gonna be here. They finished the work in the time they said they were gonna finish the work. It's quite a good experience. It was amazing. I would use them in the future if I had a big job.

Al and his crew were friendly and professional. They were very responsive and made good suggestions. We agreed on the work before winter set in and Al said they would be there to do it in April. They were timely and he said it would take a week and it did. The only problem occurred when a pipe to our sprinkler system got cut. We thought it was an old pipe no longer in use. However, after the work was done and the crew was gone it proved to be an active pipe, which spewed water out and washed away the soil. Al was once again responsive and made arrangements for it to be fixed.

They did a good job. The service was good. They sealed everything - They did exactly what they said they were going to do. He wasn't sure when he'd be able to make it out at first because of a big job that was planned, but was able to come out quickly and get the work done.

He was my first biddder. He responded right away from my call for a bid. I got a second bid that was about $700.00 more. I joined Angies list and found him on here. His other reviews were good, so I choose him without getting anymore bids. He did a nice job and Im happy with the results. The work was done in a timely fashion.

He was good but he didn't give me the information about checking out the sewer lines. His estimate was about $7600. I didn't use them because the sewer line was still in good shape. It made no sense in replacing the driveway. We thought that repairing was the way to go. The other company was able to repair it while they were able to replace it as that was the kind of work they do. He was very pleasant and very nice. He was very professional and he was there when he said he would be there.

This went very well. We love the new porch. They did a very professional job and I think they even ended up using a heavy concrete than they originally quoted.

Al came out and did an estimate in early summer. He seemed knowledgeable, professional, and, well, uh, honest. He sent an estimate and it took a couple of weeks to decide whether or not to go ahead with the work. When the decision was made, I contacted Al. He told me right away that there were several jobs in line before us and he would start our work in the beginning of August. It ended up that we were away when he was ready to start, so he went to another job and started when we returned. Right from the start, Al and his crew were professional and courteous. Al explained why our existing patio was cracking, crumbling, separating, and all around bad work. It was just 4 years old and a mess. The previous contractor did not level, put in a base or wire and poured uneven depths (one area would be 2" and another 7"). He built on dirt, on a hillside, with no support. It was horrible work. Al cleared the area, dug out the foundation, put in base and wire, added a step, and really made the new patio nice. The apron, asphalt, overhead fixings and steps, were done in an equally professional manner. The cleanup was fantastic. Where grass had been damaged, they brought topsoil and grass seed and repaired the damaged areas. They were very helpful with ideas to improve the area and accommodated all of our requests. I highly recommend A. Calfo Construction.

The company was very respectful. They got the job done correctly. There was an issue regarding when the cement settled. But they came back and looked at everything and everything was fine. They fixed the problem real quick. I was satisfied with the company and I would recommend them. They are a little high in price compared to some other companies. But I liked how these people portrayed themselves. They were more in detail than the other companies.

Al did an excellent job arrived on time as stated, did great work. Very neat and cleaned up after the job was done. Would reccomend him to anyone.

Al analyzed and provided an estimate for repairing a deteriorating retaining wall in a difficult-to-access location on a steep and wooded slope. He drew up a proposal to excavate existing tie, stone, and block wall and replace with a new wall using new solid concrete wall with durawall reinforcement. Proposal included all debris being hauled away and the area cleaned up. My husband and I did not end up purchasing the property so we did not hire anyone to repair the retaining wall. We appreciated Al's detailed proposal and the price he estimated was reasonable considering the complexity of the job.
