We tried Chris because of the special he was running of "A painter for a day for $179". We needed him to paint our hall and powder bath. He did such a great job that we had him come back to do our Master bath as well. We will definitely call him again! Very professional. Make sure you allow a few weeks for scheduling.

Chris was running a "special" around Xmas $179 painter for a day. It was the perfect gift for my 72 year old mother. I called Chris to schedule an appointment. Chris called the day before to tell me what time he would be arriving. Chris and his partner Bob assessed the job (painting a living room and hallway). They were very neat by laying down drop cloths everywhere. They even taped the baseboards! Very professional, friendly and reliable. When they had finished, they cleaned everything up and even moved the furniture back (which we took care of ourselves before they arrived). I would definitely ask Chris back.

The first day of painting seemed to go well. They seemed extremely rushed the second day as if they were hurrying to get to another job. I have found areas that were completely overlooked, between door jams and the wall, between window wooden trim and the wall, for the most part, the 1/2 to 3/4" areas at the end of window trim and door jams were not touched at all. I had to ask for my extra paint to do touch ups on ceiling/wall areas as well. Unfortunately, I will probably have to get this paint job redone again this summer.

Chris came out to survey the rooms, and after rescheduling two times, we finally connected. He told me because of the damage to my walls, he would need to charge more. We negotiated a price, and he came out on 1/26 to do the work. He was about 45 minutes late. He brought another man with him, and they were both very personable. They were very meticulous in moving the furniture and filling the holes in the walls. The job took longer than expected, and Chris said it was because there was more patching than he anticipated. They had to come back the next day, and were late that day also. They worked a total of two full days. All in all, it was an outstanding job!! I have yet to find a single blemish or hole or dent that they missed! I was very impressed by how polite and professional they both were. I would hire them again!!

The price was reasonable. They were on time. They did everything they said and they kept it neat.

They were fairly good. It was kind of hard to keep track of their punctuality. He would say he would show up at 8:00 clock in the morning and would not show up by 4:00 clock in the evening. They didn’t call to say that they would be late. They were quite good. I would use them in the future.

I spoke with Chris on the phone about coming to my house to give us an estimate to paint our hallway. He wanted to come on a Saturday evening and despite our previously scheduled dinner plans, I obliged and postponed the time of our reservation. Then, he doesn't show. He doesn't call to apologize for missing the scheduled appointment nor does he call with an excuse. He has yet to call me at all...which doesn't really matter because I would never hire someone who is so unprofessional.

Chris Jones' work is professional, well done, thorough and neat. He actually did more than he was asked to do -- by also staining and sealing the support posts and a beam below the deck. My mother was very, very happy with Chris's work, and says Chris is one of the "good guys!"

Chris did an excellent job and I will definitely use his company again (in fact, I already have). His estimate was accurate and he was very professional in his manner. Chris went the extra mile in taking care to get the job done in a way that pleased us. He came when he said he would and he finished the job when he said he would (except for some days when rain interfered). He is very dedicated to providing services that you will be happy with. In fact, we had to tell him to stop working one day when it was really too hot to be working up on the roof! You will be happy with this company.

They are absolutely professional, from the customer service to the actual work on the deck. It was very easy and pleasant to communicate with Chris. Their work was very thorough and the quality was super. Everyone in the family was so happy to see how our big deck had been transformed. Because of the awesome job they did, we are actually planning to hire them again for the exterior painting of our house.

They did a good job. They came in on a Sunday, which was nice. I don't have any criticisms.

He did a really nice job. He's very professional and very good at what he does. He came and took his time to look around the house. We showed him what we needed and he did a really nice job.

Chris is a very nice guy, and probably a very good painter. He provided a quote which described a very thorough job, however the price was a bit more than I can afford.

It is now late-June and I have not heard from him.

We originally puchased an "Angie's List Big Deal" that was from Chris Jones. We had drywall repairs needed done before selling our house. Although we had 4 hours through the Big Deal, we hired Chris for more repairs that needed done after seeing his work. His work was very good! Chris was very busy at the time, but was willing to work around normal business hours to fit us in however he could - including offering late evenings and weekends. Chris did the work himself, along with a co-worker. They were very professional, efficient, and very tidy. They took great care in laying down drop-clothes throughout the house to protect our floors, and cleaned up very well after doing the work.I would hire them again in an instant.

Chris came three times to plaster two walls in my guest room. He always was courteous and professional. The room was always left in good shape when he left. He had to come three times to allow the plaster to dry before the next treatment. I would hire him again, and may for the bedroom cracks!

He took a little bit longer but was very meticulous. He was very professional and a very nice guy.

I was very impressed with the quality of work performed including thorough cleaning at the end of the job.

I was about to try fixing it myself when I saw the Angie's List Big Deal for Chris Jones's 4 hrs of plaster work for $99. I called Chris and he came out and took a look and told me he could fix it. He was quite busy because of the Big Deal so it was a couple weeks before he could come out but that was OK because the hole had already been there for over a month. He arrived as scheduled and did a beautiful job. He even fixed some other cracks in the ceiling while he was at it and smoothed out another spot that had been badly repaired in the past. Chris was friendly and I especially appreciated his deadpan dry humor. I had him give me estimates for additional work and am planning on having him come back and paint the ceiling and maybe work on the living room ceiling as well. I will definitely hire Chris for any plaster/paint work that is beyond the skills of this do-it-yourselfer.

Chris did a great job and I'd definitely hire him again.

Chris came up with a suggestion of texturing the ceiling. I wasn't sure what it would look like exactly, but when I saw it, it was the perfect choice. It was subtle but effective in giving the appearance of a ceiling without imperfections. Chris & associate were very professional, extremely clean, punctual, and friendly. I am going to schedule the next step which is the painting of the walls of that same room. The walls are in even worse shape than the ceiling, so I look forward to seeing the finished product

We initially purchased the $99.00 deal for four hours of drywall work. They contacted us the same day we purchased the deal to set up a time to meet with us. We ended up having them complete the entire job. The cost was very reasonable based on other estimates we had gotten in the past. They were dependable and they did quality work.

Chris was good on price, fit into our tight schedule and was punctual on the day scheduled. He and asst Tom were quite tidy and professonal. The quality of the work was excellent. Thay laid runners on the carpet, covered furniture and fixtures in the rooms. He removed light fixtures and medicine chest in powder room. Upon completion Chris reinstalled the medicine chest, new light fixtures and the paper holder - even though not part of original quote. They cleaned up thoroughly, including washing and vacuming. Chris and Tom are as professional and qualified as it gets.

Great. I wish all contractors were as professional. Chris kept me well informed of when he would be coming and showed up when he said he would. The job was done great and everything was cleaned up after they were done. Wound definitely use again.

Responded to an angies-list coupon for drywall and plaster repair. His times were very flexibile, and he was responsive to my emails and phone calls quite rapidly. He helped save me money by recommending to me that I do some painting myself - you don't get many contractors trying to save you money these days. Once he arrived, he and his assistant brought in all of their equipment, did the job, and cleaned up everything behind them.He is very knowledgeable and his skills at repairing my plaster cracks were quite impressive.
