metal restoration
+ -1 moreHe seemed like an accurate and knowledgeable professional but the end result is awful. The railings are rusting and the metal is not straight in several places. I gave him several opportunities to fix it but I just keep getting excuses. I don't even want him on my property. I will have to rip it out and start over once I save enough again.

Description of Work: I contacted Dave to give me a quote on restoring or replacing an iron railing on my front steps which is a little over 11 feet long. Dave responded to my request promptly and was very courteous. The railing is at least 30 years old with quite a bit of rust on it. A portion of the top hand rail is even warping a bit. Dave did not feel that the railing could be restored. Over a period of several days he worked with me to come up with different designs for a new railing. However in the course of time I found someone who was willing to restore the railing. Whether or not this will be a long lasting solution remains to be seen. However I would certainly contact Dave in the future for any welding needs.

+ 0 moreExcellent. Did the job right, and cleaned the area up afterwards. Price was fair. He took the time to make sure we were satisfied, and was very friendly and professional. It was a small job, but he treated it like it was important.
