Description of Work: I had an issue in my garage whereby power was not being supplied to my garage door opener. I called Chris on a Saturday and he was out at my house first thing on Sunday morning given the urgency of my issue. He worked through the issue in a methodical method and cleaned up the mess left by the last electrician. Chris's prices are very fair and I love the fact that he posts them on Angies list. I will have Chris do all of my electrical work in the future.

Description of Work: **NO SHOW** He was to arrive in the afternoon March 10th 2015 to change an existing light fixture and to move an existing wall outlet up 4 inches higher. Waited all afternoon, did not even have the courtesy to call and cancel .

 + -1 moreCalled to inquire on estimate. Message left that same day. Spoke in person that early evening and arranged a mutually convenient time for inspection/estimate. Quoted estimate 5 days later and accepted verbal quote. Work commenced 2 days after acceptance of bid. Crew of 3 men worked nearly 4 hours. During that time my mason stopped by and asked for a modification of electric supply line already attached to house. Bob Boden was very accommodating and the modification was done even though the cable was already attached to the house. This added extra time to the job. I also asked that a ground wire be checked and this was done and revised appropriately. I also requested a reroute for my furnace to have it connected to the second floor supply. The work took slightly longer than anticipated which was understandable. The power outage for this duration of time did not cause food spoilage or undue inconvenience. Electrical inspection is pending.
Description of Work: Supply line replaced to two meters. Supply line continued to basement circuit breaker boxes. Replaced 1st floor glass fuse box with updated circuit breaker. Service 100 amp.

 + -1 moreNot an emergency and not a big job, but we were glad to be able to turn the lights on again! Boden Electric responded the same day to our call, came out the next day, and fixed the problem for a reasonable price.
Description of Work: We had a mysterious outage of electrical service on the top floor of our house. Checking and cycling the breakers in the service panel did not help. Bod Boden and assistant arrived and traced the problem to an open circuit at an old junction box on our second floor.

 + -1 moreTHE JOB NEEDED TO BE DONE QUICKLY BECAUSE THERE WAS A DANGER, AND HE CAME QUICKLY AND HAD A 24 HOUR TURNAROUND IN WHICH HE WAS DONE WITH THE JOB. HE DOES EXCELLENT, FAST, AND SAFE WORK. HE TOOK A COMPLETE MESS AND MADE IT SAFE.
