About us

Bilski Construction is a full service remodeling company offering a wide range of services, specializing in both Interior and Exterior finishes. We have been serving the greater Pittsburgh area for 25 years, focusing mainly in the city of Pittsburgh south communities and all of the South Hills area. I, Jeff Bilski (owner/operator) have personally been in the construction business since about 1976 when my father, a homebuilder, started me working with him through the summers. After graduating from highschool I went full time in to construction and have been at it ever since. Presently I am at the age of 52 years and after 25 years this is truly the first I am advertising to the general public. Through the years business has remained solid and has been built on word of mouth, but as I believe most businesses that have continued through these tough economic times work has slowed down a little. Therefore prompting me to do some advertising in hopes to reaching out to a new potential customer base that otherwise would have never had the opportunity to, at least consider using us to assist them with their remodeling needs. At Bilski Construction we take great pride in the work that we do, we take great care in keeping the work site a safe place for both workers, homeowners and the general public, we absolutely use the finest quality materials and do not and will not cut corners. I, personally stress daily to all my workers and subcontractors the need to keep the worksite a clean and well maintained area. I do not believe that any homeowner should have to accept messy conditions if they are avoidable. This policy has over the years provided me with a great deal of repeat business along with referrals, for all customers appreciate the effort to keep their home clean. Yes as mentioned in the last paragraph, aside from my own construction crew of generally 3 or 4 workers including myself, I use certain subcontractors, those that specialize in their fields plasterers, drywall finishers, masons, electricians, plumbers, HVAC mechanics , and painters, they like myself are all insured, registered as needed and have necessary certifications. Bilski construction is registered with the Attorney Generals office in the Commonwealth of PA under the registration number PA034209. I feel that subcontractors are very important in the success of a full service remodeling company, simply put no individual can possibly do every aspect of the trades up to my standards unless they are doing it on a daily basis as these subcontractors are. Also all of my subs have been with me for at least 8 years some as many as 15 -20 years. We also have an architect available that I have worked with for about 10 years now and a true custom cabinetmaker should a project require their skills and credentials. Over the years we have completed many jobs and have left hundreds of satisfied customers whom we can offer as references.
