We had a bathroom in the basement which we never used since we bought the house 5 years ago. Michael did a great job with the bathroom, always punctual, very trustworthy. We will hire him to remodel our second floor bathroom and powder room in a few months.

I noticed several complaints about this company not returning initial phone calls but after reviewing the Company's responses to these complaints it appears they were having high call volumes and problems with their answering system isolated to this past spring. Since it was now August I figured I would be safe. After all, their response to all of these complaints in the spring stated "...we have since remedied the problem." I left a message on Monday, August 12, 2013 indicating that I was interested in getting an estimate on some kitchen renovation work. Today is Tuesday, August 27, 2013 and I have yet to get a call back. Based on my particular experience it appears this problem has not been remedied.

Michael provided an example of their having done similar work before, a general timeframe in which he could be out for an on-site estimate, and when the company would be available to do the work, as well as offering to make a preliminary estimate based on photos while we waited for the on-site visit. His willingness to respond in depth at this stage meant that we had essential information to make a determination about working with them from a single email exchange. Unfortunately for us, the company is so much in demand that their availability for the work starts just when we really need to have everything fixed and ready for use. We'll probably go with an imperfect and cheap fix for now and return to this project in a couple of years, at which point Bathroom Solutions will be at the top of our list for companies to get an estimate for the full project.

My upstairs bathroom needed a complete overhaul as it had not been upgraded since 1950. I used Angie's List to get 3 quotes and new design ideas/suggestions for my bathroom. I selected Bathroom Solutions to perform the work because of the owner, Mike Emanuele. When Mike came over to give me an estimate on the bathroom, he stood high above the other 2 contractors. Mike was professional, friendly and extremely thorough. I explained to Mike that I had never completely gutted and remodeled any room in my house, so this was a whole new experience for me. From start to finish, I felt like Mike held my hand through the entire process. Firstly, Mike was the only contractor that suggested ideas to improve the ventilation in the bathroom. Mike was the only contractor to suggest product brands that were durable and best priced for quality. At one point, I fell in love with a bathtub and sliding door combo on display at Home Depot. Mike had never used the brand before so he could not advise me on it, so he took the initiative to call his suppliers to get feedback on the tub brand and model. Turns out, that particular tub had lots of customer complaints and issues which helped me avoid what could have been a big mess. I also had to stick within a budget for this bathroom project. Mike gave me numerous suggestions on ways to save money without giving up quality. One day, I even got an email from Mike with links to a few products that he came across for me to take a look at....this astonished me. I've never received this kind of attention and service from any contractor. I told Mike that he could give other contractors pointers on customer service! Then the project started on time and it progressed exactly as Mike had explained it would. Mike's crew lead for my project was Brian. I can't say enough about how professional, friendly and efficient Brian was! I work from home, so I was here during most of the project. Everyday, Brian kept me informed of the next steps and stopped his work to ask me my preferences on such details as baseboard styles and moldings. As the project progressed, I thought of a couple things that I wanted to add like built in closet shelves. Brian said "no problem" and even gave me suggestions on how he could build them. Throughout the project, Mike kept me informed as well; he and Brian worked in unison and never skipped a beat. Overall, I can honestly say that Bathroom Solutions is the #1 best contractor that I've ever hired to do any work!

Emailed through Angie's List to get a quote for a bathroom remodel and received a response on March 27 stating that it was the busiest time of year and they were a little backed up, but could get out for an estimate in April. Set up an estimate for April 18. Prompt email response to set up the estimate appointment and showed up on time. The guy was friendly, asked many questions, and really inspected the bathroom fixtures and all around the walls. He said that they were behind on estimates so it should be about two weeks until I received the estimate - not a problem for us because we weren't on a time crunch. Didn't hear anything for more than a month after the estimate on April 18. I emailed Mike on May 28 to ask about the estimate and never received a response.

Mike Emanual is the owner of Bathroom Solutions and is the person who responds to inquiries.He is very helpful in offering suggestions and problem solving. Mike will put customers in touch with venders with whom he has relationships and in many instances you will be able to secure the contractor discount. Mike will pickup customer purchases and deliver to the job site as required. The work crew is very professional. I will definitely use this firm in the future.

Did not return my call. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt with a "C" overall experience, but they get an "F" in responsiveness.

Bathroom Solutions did a nice job on a bathroom remodel and kitchen backsplash for us a few years ago so I called them to get an estimate for installing tile floors in our kitchen and entry way. I first talked to Michael in November 2012 and he said they were booked solid until spring but since I had the dimensions he would call me back in the next day or so with a ballpark estimate. Never heard from him so I called back a week later to remind him but didn't get a return call. Since we hadn't moved forward with the installation and we were pleased with his original work I called him back this March and said in addition to the tile floors we would now like to remodel one of our bathrooms as well. Once again, no call back. I called a week or two later just in case he didn't get my first message and once again, no call back at all. Very disappointing.

My wife and I are more than pleased with the work that was done. Not only was the quality of work very high, but also the people who performed the work were excellent, friendly and courteous. From the first visit until completion of the work on 1/25/2013, Mike operated in a highly professional and friendly manner. He made a strong effort to inform us of exactly what he would be doing and why. My wife and I purchased the vanity, tile, and lights. Whenever we had questions about the upcoming purchases, Mike made himself available and provided useful information. Sometimes it took Mike a bit of time to respond to emails, but he always did respond and in a detailed manner.

We did a lot of research on line for the water fixtures, cabinets, lighting fixtures,etc. Mike directed us to a number of outlets that allowed us to see what our choices would look like before buying. Work started when Mike said it would and continued uninterrupted until the job was done. The workmen took care to keep the areas around the bathrooms clean and kept the disruption to a minimum. The plumbing and electrical work was done by a master plumber and certified electrician. As work progressed there was one or two things that needed changed which Mike handled with no problem. In general all went well with the process and we are very pleased with the results.

Everything went very well. They even performed a few odds and ends jobs around the house. They swept up every day before they left and made sure there was no debris in the driveway. They were very neat and organized.

They were too arrogant to provide an estimate as promised. Big waste of my time.

Mike's proposal was clearly detailed work steps and associated costs. He explained how some major choices would affect pricing, but did not nickel and dime during the work. From the beginning he gave us a number of valuable suggestions, and was very willing to discuss the pro's and con's of alternative approaches. We benefitted from the value of his experience. The work was completed in a timely way over a 2-month timespan; at least one person was in our home every day during this span. Bathroom Solutions used professional electric, plumbing and plastering sub-contractors, all of whom have their own businesses. I was very pleased with the work of all 3 subs; they worked quickly and professionally. All of the other work--demolition, carpentry, tiling, painting and fixture installation--was completed by self-employed individuals working for Mike on a steady basis. All workers who came into the house demonstrated proof of insurance. Mike came by on a regular basis, was there for all critical decisions, personally laid out the locations of plumbing and electrical fixtures, and was here for installation of the plumbing fixtures. Mike's team took great care to minimize dirt and dust. Every day they placed dropclothes on the path from the front door to the bathroom. During demolition they took care to keep the door closed to minimize dust intrusion. They vacuumed the work area and any debris that fell off of a drop cloth every evening. Mike explained next steps as the work moved along; he did a generally good job managing expectations. During the last couple of weeks of the project, communication wasn't up to the high standard I'd come to expect. This resulted in a larger punch list of items than we had during the completion of the first bathroom. Mike came out to review our punch list and made sure that issues were remedied to our satisfaction. Throughout the process Mike was clearly driven to make sure we were pleased with the work. We are, and I am happy to recommend Bathroom Solutions.

When Mike, the proprietor, first came to our home, we worked through various scenarios, and he had good suggestions. Mike proved responsive and knowledgeable whenever we brought questions or concerns to him. He is also a good communicator, so that everyone was on the same page. I corresponded primarily by email to which he would respond in a day or two. However, I could generally reach him by phone or text message (even in the evening) if we needed him more urgently. In fact, we might have made some regrettable choices with materials or design without his advice regarding building conventions, durability of certain materials for flooring and other issues as they came up. One area in which I would have liked more guidance was the time-frame in which certain materials would be needed. For example, we discovered that tile or a custom vanity might need to be ordered 2-4 weeks ahead of time and, for the first remodel, we sometimes found ourselves scrambling to avoid delays in the project. However, with our prior experience, the second bathroom went more smoothly. The quality of the carpentry, painting, cabinetry and fixture installation was excellent. The tile patterns and materials we chose were a bit of a challenge for Mike's employees. The final result of the tiling, while not perfect, was quite good. Each bathroom took about 4 weeks, with someone working each weekday from about 9 am to 3 pm. They were very good about cleaning up after themselves each day, and covered the floor with drop cloths all the way to the front door. Mike gave us a detailed estimate of all the work and materials for each bathroom. Overall, I would estimate that labor for the 2 bathrooms was about $19,500 and materials $8500. He didn't charge extra for minor deviations and charged a resonable price if we requested extra work. (If we hadn't requested extra work, the cost would have been exactly what was in the estimate.) Of the Bathroom Solutions employees, the one we saw most was Adam, who did the tiling for the master bath. Adam's attention to detail and desire to ensure that we had a good result particularly impressed me. Collectively, the entire Bathroom Solutions team was courteous and showed diligence and a desire to see the jobs done well. They plainly appreciate the investment a remodel represents and the fact that their work becomes a part of your home.

Called to get an estimate from this contractor for a bathroom remodel. When I called he said he was very busy and couldnt come until July 24th during the day for an estimate. Also proceeded to tell me that if we decided to have him do remodel, he was booked till November. I said that was fine since we just wanted someone who was good and wasnt going to rip us off. Figured if he was booked, then he must be a good contractor. My husband left work to meet him during the day. He told my husband we would have estimate in 2.5 weeks. It's been a month and havent gotten a phone call, an estimate or anything regarding our request for an estimate. I find in todays electronic world, there is no valid excuse for never sending an estimate or forgetting to do an estimate. I can understand being busy, I work full time as well as my husband, a cheap cell phone as a notepad to make notes, but to not receive any estimate is just a poor sense of work ethic. He didnt leave a business card or anything with my husband. I am not quite sure why someone would waste their time to come and give an estimate and then never send an estimate. Apparantly doesnt want or need the work, so be leary in contacting someone who doesnt follow through.

We are thrilled not only with the way that our bathroom turned out, but also by the whole experience and the way the project was managed by Mike at Bathroom Solutions. First, Mike presented a very detailed contract spelling out exactly what he was planning to do, the materials he planned to use, and the price associated with everything. This was very helpful for us to know what to expect, and he did not nickel and dime us when the unexpected happened. All the guys on the team did great quality work. They were very meticulous and patient with us to make sure everything was done just as we wanted it. They guided us closely along the way with picking out all of the materials from the tile to the granite, faucets, etc. The work included knocking down walls, and putting them back up. They were particular about matching the plaster walls we had in the rest of the bathroom and the bedroom. Since part of the wall they had to put up was part of our bedroom, we had them paint the rest of our bedroom as well, which was also done perfectly and reasonably. They did all the demo including pulling out the bathfitter, taking out the overheads, ripping up the tile, pulling out the vanity and mirror, etc. They also rewired us with copper since much of the house is wired with aluminum. When they put in the copper wire, they built in a way that would easily allow us to rewire the rest of the second floor at a later time and they even left us additional wire for it. One of the unexpected things that happened during the job was when they took out the small wall that separated the toilet and shower from the sink area. They expected the main pipe to be all running along the exterior wall, but for some reason it was going through this interior wall they were taking out. They took care of redirecting it at no extra charge. We always felt like Mike was looking out for our best interests and wanted to get the job done right. The team was reliable and there on time everyday. They worked around us not having some materials ready quite at the right time. In the end, our bathroom turned out even nicer than we expected and it was designed and thought out for the best functional use of it as well. We have been using it for the past few months now and couldn't be happier. The guys at bathroom solutions are all meticulous professionals and we would trust them for any job in the future, large or small. We would highly recommend them to anyone.

We thought it was kind of on the expensive side but we were happy with the quality overall. We did have to insist that they fix some tiles that were laid crooked and it did take over a month because they only worked part time. Otherwise, the responsiveness, punctuality, and professionalism were good. We would not use them again in the future because we would try to find someone more reasonably priced.

We requested a bid from this company on remodeling our kitchen. Mike came to our house in April and told us he would provide a bid in two weeks. About a month later I called to find out if he was going to submit a bid. He responded that he would be unable to bid as a result of changes to his staff. He said he would be able to provide a bid in late September. We were unable to wait that long.

Bathroom Solutions is an excellent company to work with! Our project was small and we took a long time to find what we were looking for. Mike (owner) was extremely patient with us and stuck with us through our entire project. He was willing to quote and re-quote based on our needs and helped us through each step of our remodel, even if it wasn't part of his job. His team was great to work with. They were extremely professional and did excellent work. We will be sure to use Bathroom Solutions again and tell all our family and friends to do the same.

Never received and estimate, chosen to go with another contractor.

They gave me a well itemized quote. The guy who came out was professional and easy to work with.

They did very good, they took care of everything, dotted the i's, crossed the t's, and did everything to make the job complete. They weren't cheap, but they got the job done, and I got a real good deal. More important is what you get for your deal. .

IT WENT VERY WELL. MIKE AND HIS EMPLOYEES WERE PROFESSIONALS AND VERY GOOD AT WHAT THEY DO, FROM THE PLUMBER TO THE ACTUAL DEMOLITION AND CONSTRUCTION MEN. WE HAD A LOT OF QUESTIONS FROM BEGINNING TO END, AND MIKE ALWAYS ANSWERED PROMPTLY AND IN DETAIL, EXPLAINING EVERYTHING AND NEVER ACTING LIKE THE QUESTIONS AND CONCERNS WERE A PROBLEM OR ANNOYANCE. HE CAME UP WITH EXCELLENT SUGGESTIONS THAT I HAD NOT EVEN CONSIDERED, AND EVERYTHING HE CAME UP WITH WAS GREAT AND DONE VERY WELL. WE PURCHASED THIS HOUSE 2 YEARS AGO, AND HAD A FEW BAD EXPERIENCES WITH OTHER CONTRACTORS, SO WE WERE REALLY CONCERNED ABOUT EVERYTHING. WE WORRIED NEEDLESSLY.

They did an excellent job. To start, Mike provided several different estimates, since our bathroom was really weird. He helped us out with some design ideas and was probably at the house 3 times to talk things over and help us make up our minds before we agreed on the job. His estimates were probably the best part of the process. They are very detailed and clearly explain where your money is going. Also, my wife and I were free to choose materials suppliers for the big things that we liked buying and choosing (toilet, tile, vanity) and Mike provided the rest in the estimate (grout, wiring, etc). The also picked up the large items after we chose them. When work started, they arrived on time and cleaned up everyday before they left each day.Since this was our only bathroom, completion time was very important to us. They were very close to meeting their original time estimate and we only delayed because of the electrical inspector (not their fault). Overall the bathroom came out excellent. I would hire them again.

The owner of Bathroom Solutions was easy to communicate with and open to my ideas as well as making great suggestions. It was a pleasure to work with him and his crew.
