flooring contractor, hardwood floor
+ 0 moreBarkley was hard to find, but based on opinions from friends I knew we would not be disappointed. We tried hard, and finally got him to come see the floors. The job started a few days later. We were extremely satisfied, and I thank him every time I look at my floors up to this day. His responsiveness could be a little better, but I understand he has more work than he can possibly execute. For us, it was worth the effort and I would hire him again at any time.
Description of Work: Barkley Loughran was hired to refinish our hardwood floors in the entire house. He came in right after we closed on our new home, sanded and refinished the floors in the proposed time, exactly how we wanted it and was even open to discussions and changes along the way. In the end, we all found out part of the floors could not be done (they needed to be replaced) and he was honest, told us he would not be able to perform that kind of job, and reduced his final price accordingly.
