He does superb work. Even when our old cloth awning was installed, we knew we had been taken for a ride. It looked like a circus tent and we were never able to contact the company--they never returned our calls. Paul removed the old cloth awning and installed an awning that goes with our house. We couldn't be happier. He could not have been nicer. I would recommend him to anyone.

We called Paul about replacing an old worn out awning, but were also looking for alternatives such as a retractable awning, but something more permanent. Paul showed up in a pickup truck wearing work clothes. I was especially impressed since I wasn't looking for a suit and tie salesman who would send a wannabe installer out to do the job. He suggested an insulated patio cover that would be a permanent installation, and showed me a sample that he had in his truck. He explained in detail how the installation would go, and I was very impressed. I especially liked the idea of not having to store our patio furniture every Fall. He quoted us a price, and suggested that we check out his website, showing several of his installations. We liked what we saw, and gave him the order. After a short waiting period, he showed up with one other worker, and did the job in a very professional manner. During the waiting period, I had to call him on several occasions. If he didn't answer right away, he always got back to me later. We are very pleased with the installation, and would definitely recommend his services to others.

Paul and his team were excellent! They had the awning up in less than 1 hour. They cleaned up and bagged all the trash for me. They also cut the delivery tubes in three pieces so the garbage collectors would pick them up. (They were 16 feet long and very rigid). I would hire them again.

He did a great job. Came and did an estimate. Provided samples and book for patterns and colors. He installed when ready.

Really excellent. I called around and got a few prices, Paul's was most competitive. They installed "freeport opaque" awnings, which have a really modern, sleek look, and also have these nice sky lights which let some of the light through. Great quality, great price, very good service overall.

We were very pleased with the work. It was fine. We were very pleased with the whole process. It went very well and very smoothly. It's always nice when everything goes according to plan and everything did.

Paul returned my call promptly and set up a time to come out and measure. He called ahead of time to let me know he was on his way, and arrived promptly. He did all of the measurements, and made some fabric suggestions. He very kindly came back when my wife was home, so she could make the final selection. (We went with his experience about a fabric which would show dirt less). We gave him a 50% deposit and he told us the awning would be ready in about three weeks. It was. He installed it yesterday, coming despite the bitter cold. It looks terrific, and is clearly much sturdier than what we could have ordered through the internet (the frame is welded). Paul's price also included removing our old awning. **By the way, if you don't receive his estimate by email, CALL him. He sent it out the same day he measured, but there was an error in the email address. Paul was very prompt, but we would have never known the email went astray if we hadn't called**

He got back to me immediately after I left him a message. He scheduled the appointment and came on time. He gave me accurate information about the awning. He ordered it and it came within the time frame that he said, and then he came out and installed it. I was very satisfied with his service.

On Saturday, June 21, Paul came to my home to provide an estimate for three large exterior solar blinds for my deck and patio. He measured, provided product samples and said he would have an estimate the following Monday-Tuesday. Two weeks later I heard nothing from him so I reached out to him for a status of the estimate. He replied to my email saying he was out of town and would be returning July 14 and would get the estimate to me as soon as he returned. Today is July 21, one month later from original visit, and still no estimate nor communication of any kind.

Paul was very prompt in reply to my request. He is very knowledgeable and very courteous with his service. I would highly recommend Awnings by Paul for any awnings you may need. He quoted me a timeframe of 4 to 6 weeks and my awning was made and installed in 5 weeks. I will definitely use Paul again.

Paul is very good at what he does, and if you are looking for quality awnings at a reasonable price, then I would recommend him.

We called this provider last summer to get a quote on a retractable awning in front of our pool. He said they would call back in a week. Never heard from them.

I contacted the company to get an estimate for an solar shade. The individual I spoke with said he might be able to come out that same week. That was over 3 weeks ago. I still have not heard from him.

HE IS A LITTLE SLOW IN HIS RESPONDING TO PHONE CALLS, BUT WHEN HE SAID HE WOULD BE THERE HE WAS AND DID A VERY PROFESSIONAL JOB. I WOULD RECOMMEND HIM AND IF ANY OTHER PROJECT COMES UP WOULD NOT HESITATE TO HAVE HIM PERFORM IT. UPON ARRIVAL AT THE JOB SITE HIS CREW SET IT UP AND FINISHED IT WITHOUT A HITCH. Paul was courteous and responsible. He was up front about the time factor and costs. We love the results and would definitely use him again.

Provider was prompt, measured the space, returned in a couple of days with fabric swatches, and installed the awning when promised. In fact, he installed the awning even though we were not at home at the time. We had contacted the old well-known awning company in Pittsburgh twice and they never returned our call. The price for the awning by Awnings by Paul was VERY reasonable. If you're smart, you will get your next awning from Awnings by Paul.

I join the those who gave Paul an "F". Paul submitted bid. Called texted his return was he was too busy. I decided to wait for him. Paul would say he would call come over to my home never called texted stood us up. He is rude disrespectful unprofessional. Such a Bad businessman .

Paul was very responsive and prompt in returning my calls and sending a quote. The work was done as expected. We are pleased with the results. My only complaint is that some trash and nails were left on the property after the awning frame was installed.

Contacted Paul who was in Florida and he promised to take care of it on his return to Pittsburgh! He showed up February 4th, but the panel was frozen and he promised to be back in warmer weather which happened about a week later! True to his word, he reset the panel and used a device to attach it more firmly! Did not charge because he had installed the awning previously and was very gracious during the whole repair process!

He was perfect, punctual, clean. It was like the dream kind of contracting person you want to work with. It really is nice. The one thing that was interesting, because we were sort of communicating via email. I had contacted him through Angie's List email, where you can go and send somebody an email. Then he was responding to me. At one point, I tried to get a hold of him while he was on vacation, but he got back to me even while he was on vacation. He came and brought samples. Everything he said he was going to do, he did. He was just delightful to work with.

He was polite, on time, easy to work with, and did a beautiful job!
