AquaGuard representative and office staff responded quickly and efficiently. Work was performed as contracted in less than one day. Workers explained each process performed and cleaned basement and work area when work was completed.

I am happy to recommend Amguard Systems Inc. It was a pleasure to work with sales person (low key - no high-pressure sales job), the office staff (friendly and responsive) and, the crew (hardworking and efficient). After getting bids from 4 reputable area waterproofing companies, I chose Amguard Systems Inc. which serves the Pittsburgh area. Why? Well, first, they didn't try to up-sell me on non-essential add-ons as did the others. The price was about $2,000 less than the highest bid received. I didn't need a "Cadillac" or, wanted to fund somebody else's new fishing boat purchase. I just needed to stop the stormwater from coming into my leaky basement. The crew was experienced and efficient. They arrived on the day and time promised and, they completed the job (about 60' of drainage and sump installed in the basement) in one day; (8 AM to 4 PM). They hauled out all the rubble and left the place in decent condition. No drama, no bad moves and, a job well done at a fair price. I am looking forward to re-doing my now dry basement and adding to the value of my home in Pittsburgh's Squirrel Hill district. Thanks Amguard!

Sean and the team worked very hard every day. They promised it would only be three days and they worked until finished on the last day. They did their best to keep the mess and damage to a minimum. The sump pump installs were very clean. In fact they improved on the existing pump install.

I was pleased with the kind and professional services of AquaGuard. The managerial, secretarial staff and installers were proficient in providing quality customer service. The secretary who set up the initial appointment for my free estimate provided caring and exceptional service to keep me informed of the office procedures in scheduling and financial process. The home estimate process was not overbearing in pressuring but provided clear and informative information about the waterproofing system, installation process, materials, and fair pricing (lower than the first estimate). On the day of the waterproof system installation, the installers were on time, very courteous, explained their work intentions, and approximate finish time. The installing crew were thorough in the work performance and did not leave my basement in shambles. I heard positive reviews from various individuals about AquaGuard, and glad that I choose them. Now, I have first-hand information, AquaGuard is true to their word in providing quality service and an exceptional waterproofing system.

Aqua Guard did a fine and timely job. I am happy with the price and the men they sent to do the jobs. The office was very easy to work with.

I shopped around before choosing this company. The employees came on time and everyone was very professional. The work was completed quickly. It was pouring rain and I heard no complaints from the employee who was stuck tending to the concrete. My only gripe was that the sump pump was installed along the opposite wall that I had agreed to. It was explained to me why it was changed. This guy is the expert so his explanation was acceptable. However, now I have to hire an electrician to have an outlet installed. Stuff happens, but I went into the basement hours later and the moldy mildewing smell was pretty much gone. It feels dryer already so this was money well spent.

Arrived exactly on time. Explained the entire procedure before starting. Kept me informed as the work proceeded. Cleaned up when the job was finished. The job site foreman 'Sean" did an excellent job the entire time they were here.

The crew ( Shawn, Andrew and Denny) from Aquaguard were very professional, started and finished the job in the time frame they promised. Did an awesome job, exactly as we had planned it. Cleaned up everything after job was completed. The owner Tom was extremely knowledgeable and I would recommend the company to anyone who needs any kind of waterproofing services.

I am writing in reference to my recent experience with AquaGuard. I was looking for a company to install an interior french drain system in my basement and attached garage. I had already received quotes from two other companies when I called on AquaGuard to schedule an appointment for an estimate of the work I needed completed. The office staff were very friendly, informative and knowledgeable. All my calls were returned in a timely manner. I was highly impressed with the initial inspection and presentation of the proposed work for my basement and garage. Tom Gallagher, the owner, was very thorough and observant of the smallest details and issues. The process, which can be daunting, was surprisingly easy and the price quoted was superior to those of the aforementioned companies quoted. This sealed the deal for me! Considering how busy AquaGuard was initially and all of the inclement weather prior to having the work done, scheduling a start date was relatively timely. Workers from AquaGuard were very punctual, arriving at the exact proposed time. The entire process from prep work to drain completion took a total of two days. AguaGuard kept the dust to a minimum and finished the job in a timely manner. I was delighted that AquaGuard completed the job within the initial price stated. No extras or surprises! AquaGuard even provided an additional crew of men to facilitate completion of the work! I have only left to say that I undoubtedly made the best choice of companies for the the job! AquaGuard was again very professional and accommodating throughout the whole process. I have no complaints, only accolades for AquaGuard and the services they offer. I would definitely use AquaGuard again in the future for any issue that may arise. I would highly recommend that people do the same!

Our floor has been slanted since we moved into our home. We contacted Aquaguard for an estimate, and they walked us through exactly what they wanted to do to stabilize our floor. We went with them because of the walk through of the c-channel they installed during the estimate process. Everything went well. Our floor is raised and stabilized. It is not perfectly level, but we just did not want to end up in our basement. The guys that came were great, and we would hire them again.

The whole process from beginning till the end was an excellent experience. All the employees were prompt, knowledgeable and professional. Would recommend this company to those who have the same issues with water damage.

We've always had a little bit of water in our unfinished basement when we get a heavy downpour. We have an old terracotta foundation. In January of 2018, after it had been very cold for a long period of time with lots of snow, then it went to 65 degrees and raining, we woke up to find water gushing through a walls of our basement that we've never seen it come out. We had 5 total companies come out to quote the work. We were instantly put at ease when we met Tom. He was the most honest and knowledgeable about what was going on in our basement. He gave us a quote and explained what they would do and even made suggestions on other things we could improve (gutters/downspouts) that would help the situation as well. We did not end up doing the work until October, and Tom came out to review everything again with us since it had been a few months. Shawn and his crew were great to work with and did a great job. He kept us informed as the project progressed and we couldn't be happier. Paula & Terri in the office were very nice as well. Now we don't have to worry every time it rains (which seems to be daily now!) and it's a big relief.

We were very pleased with the work done by Shawn & crew to encapsulate the crawl space under our living room floor. Though clearance was not more than about 20” some places, they quickly sealed the entire space without difficulty. The entire project was completed in one morning. The team was pleasant, arrived on time, work quickly and provided photos of the finished product. Job well done!

Everybody I have dealt with from this company has been incredibly respectful and knowledgeable right from the Sales Manager, to the office staff to men who performed the work. The men who performed the work were always on time and always willing to answer any questions my wife and I had throughout the entire process. Paula at the office was always willing to take time to answer all my questions (I had a lot). Frank the sales manager was very helpful as well, he came to my house 3 times to inspect until we identified what type of system would work best for me. We just bought our house 3 months ago and the people who sold it to us never disclosed water and flat out lied about the issue so this was a. difficult expense for my wife and I since we had just bought the house. The whole ordeal has really been a nightmare but Aqua Guard has really helped us through this. The work was completed today so I can’t speak for how the system is working and really hope this company will continue being this helpful in the future if I have any issues. Lots of businesses out there ignore you once they have final payment and I feel Aqua Guard is the type of company who won’t do that so time will tell.

We had such a great experience with AquaGuard. We have seen water in our basement every time we get a lot of rain and so knew we would need to have sump pumps and a drain system installed. Knowing it would be a costly process, we really wanted a company that we felt assured would do a good job in a timely manner. Every single employee was professional and courteous. They were on time both days, in fact, they were early one day and waiting for my wife before she got home. We felt the cost was reasonable and on par with other companies. What really set them apart was the personal service we received. The owner of the company came to our house initially to talk us through everything and what to expect, and then the foreman went over everything after they were finished, made sure we were comfortable, and gave us his direct email in case we had questions afterwards. We of course had questions a few days afterward and they responded in 1 business day. I highly recommend AquaGuard to anyone who has water in their basement. They did an amazing job!

This company was great all around from the salesman to the office staff to the crew who installed the sub pump. They explained everything in detail and also showed me the steps of what was being done and how everything worked. There was barely any dust due to the industrial vacuum system that is used while they jack hammered the concrete. I would highly recommend this company to everyone!

I purchased a property "as is" and discovered, with all the rain we had in the Spring, that the basement was extremely wet. Aquaguard performed the necessary installation of drains and pumps and provided me a lifetime, transferrable warranty for the property. I have seen no water since, despite our recent torrential rains. They may not be the cheapest, but I would definitely recommend them and would hire them again in the future.

From the administrative staff, to the project team to the sales executive who held our hand through some tough situations we were always treated as though we were important., They were timely and if the schedule was going to need adjusting they gave us advanced notice They gave us the peace of mind that comes with this kind of service.
