They are rated highly in Angie?s List. I was using them for the second time. Their estimate and proposal were the best among all those that I had checked out. They did the work today, and I am fully satisfied with it. My experience with them was fine. I would use them again.

We wanted to get the work done since we were seeing water when it used to rain. So they recommended few things to stop that from happening. They were pretty responsible. They had quite a few references and seemed that they had a lot of experience. The quote that they gave us was not as high as we had thought it was going to be. They did suggest us doing some work that was more expensive than we had thought. They also install French drains, sump pumps, and things like that, which was actually what they had recommended for us. They were also willing to offer us a guarantee. They took a few days to get back to us to set up the appointment originally and that wasn’t the most convenient thing for us. However, they did call us back. They also followed through. The guy who came out from AquaGuard Systems was professional and seemed knowledgeable. We also received estimates from other companies.

We got two bids for this job and AquaGuard?s bid was less than a quarter of the other company?s price and they did a good job. They did the job in a real hurry and they cleaned up after themselves incredibly well. Last year we had heavy heavy rains and we got a leak over there so we called them up. They came and re-chiseled some concrete and fixed it for nothing which is what their guarantee says they?ll do.

We are extremely happy with the work. The price was on the high side but worth the work that we received. They were very quick, clean and good. We will be using them again.

I would highly recommend them. They came on time and started work right away. The crew was very good. They cleaned up very well and didn't leave a mess. There was nothing for us to clean up after them, they took everything away with them. They didn't stop to talk, they worked all the way through. I would hire them again.

They did a good job. We wish they would had been a little bit neater from the wall dust. They were fast in completing the job.

Great! I previously had standing water in my basement following heavy rains. Ten years later I developed a similar problem in my crawl space. In each case, the job involved breaking up the concrete around all of the exterior walls, installing a drainage system, and hooking the system to sump pumps which drain via the downspouts. Tom Gallagher, the owner, came to my home himself, diagnosed the problem, explained the solution, and gave me a price. After getting other estimates and checking with the Better Business Bureau, I went with Aquaguard. The men worked efficiently, were careful to cover my furnace and other items in the basement, were on time and did what they said they would do. Also, this company is the most responsive home-related company I have ever used. Several months after the initial work I developed a problem in one area of the basement and Tom himself showed up within a day and sent his workers to install an extra drain. Since then there hasn't been a problem. I am happy to report that 10 years later, I received the same prompt, efficient service in a different area of my home. This time I didn't even bother getting another estimate. This spring (1 year after the latest work), one of the connections had loosened over the winter. In retrospect, it was partly related to the ground settling under the downspout, which probably had nothing to do with Aquaguard. However, they came and fixed the problem without charge, and the next day Tom himself came to make sure that everything was alright.

This work was done at my elderly parent's home. My mom revealed to me that she had been dealing with a leak in the finished basement for 20 years! I got a hold of AquaGuard for an estimate. The owner, himself, came out to give the estimate the very next day. He was very kind and patient in explaining to my parents what could be done. His workers came out within 2 days and finished the job in one day. They moved all the furniture, covered everything, and when finished, did an excellent job of cleaning up and putting everything back for my parents. The new system that they put in is working so well! I would definitely recommend them to everyone! The workers were punctual, polite and very clean. I can tell that this company takes pride it's work. They definitely did a high quality job. The price was actually surprisingly reasonable.

All workers were very professional and especially helpful in explaining the procedure.

We wanted to finish our basement but had water leaking in three places when it rained heavily. We interviewed other contractors in addition to Aquaguard (one of whom had a lower bid) but decided to go with Aquaguard after speaking with references and because of our own gut feeling that the owner, Tom Gallagher, was trustworthy and really cared about doing a quality job. We were correct. The crew who did the job were very professional and really cleaned up after themselves. And best of all, when we had our first heavy rains after the job, we had no leaking so we are now finishing the basement.

VERY PROFESSIONAL FROM THE START WITH THE OWNER TOM GALLAGHER. THEY SHOWED UP ON TIME. WORKERS EXPLAINED EVERYTHING THAT THEY WERE DOING.THEY NEEDED SOME XTRA SUPPLIES AND DID NOT HESITATE TO GET THEM FOR THE JOB AT NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE. THEY WORKED START TO FINISH. THEY ALSO CLEANED UP BETTER THAN THEY FOUND IT. EXTREMELY SATISFIED!!!!!

Scheduled and completed the work promptly, cleanly and with good quality. Explained clearly what was needed. Very helpful and made recommendations about additional remodeling I am planning. I strongly recommend them.

THE EXPERIENCE WAS GREAT. THEY SAFEGUARDED THE PREMISES BY COVERING ALL CARPET WITHIN MY FINISHED BASEMENT. THEY COVERED ALL WOODEN DOORS AND INSTALLED PLASTIC SHEETING TO PROTECT WALLS AND INTERIOR SURFACES. THE WORK WAS COMPLETED ON TIME AND IN A VERY PROFESSIONAL WAY. I HAVE HAD NO PROBLEMS SINCE THE WORK WAS COMPLETED AND WOULD RECOMMEND AQUAGUARD TO ANYONE.

I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY, "AQUA GUARD" TO ANYONE. THEY ARE VERY NEAT AND SUFFICIENT. THEY SHOW UP ON TIME AND ARE VERY EAGER TO DO THEIR JOB.

As per above I've had them do 4 different jobs and have always been happy with the price, work and follow up and have not had any water in my basement in the wettest of weather.

I am completely satisfied with the job performed from beginning to end. Tom Gallagher was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable during the entire process. He took the time to explain every step that was taken and the reason for it. They were all prompt, neat, friendly and professional. The job turned out great and there is no movement in the wall and I no longer have a water problem.

Mr. Gallagher was very clear and concise about what work would be performed when he came out to provide an estimate. He also offered suggestions on other minor work we could perform ourselves to minimize moisture in our basement before we selected Aquaguard to do the job. The crew arrived at the time I was told and they finished the entire job in roughly 4 1/2 hrs. I generally ask many questions and often have a few requests regarding any work that will be done and Mr. Gallagher, his office personnel and the crew responded to every one of them. They asked for a minimal downpayment and Mr. Gallagher's secretary even assisted me with a request that was totally unrelated to the work they performed. I feel that they went the extra mile!

Aquaguard installed an internal French drain and pump system in our basement. On the positive side, they came when they said they would come, did what they said they would do for the agreed-upon price, and so far so good on the waterproofing. On the negative side, when they left our house was filled with a strong sewer odor. It turns out that they damaged a Terra Cotta pipe leading from the house to the septic system. Their workers clearly knew what they had done as evidenced by the fact that they attempted to cover it over in a haphazard way by putting a piece of screen and some gravel over it. They returned twice more each time doing corrective measures which were insufficient to fix the problem. We tried to no avail to tell them what needed to be done to adequately fix the problem. We ended up repairing it correctly ourselves. We also later found another Terra Cotta pipe that they had damaged during the installation which we also repaired ourselves. It's been three weeks since we finished the repairs and no odor remains. We are disappointed with this company failing to correctly repair the damage that they caused.

We are very happy with them. They came and did their work and the job seams to do what is it suppose to do. They did a very good job and I would recommend them to people.

So far so good. They did a nice job! They came in prepared with all references and certificates. I was guaranteed that they would clean the place and they did. There was no mess left for me to clean up at all. They did everything they said they were going to do and we were very satisfied.

THEY WERE VERY HONEST AND STRAIGHT FORWARD. THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY NO GAME PLAYING. THEY WERE PROFESSIONAL, PROMPT AND DID A FANTASTIC JOB. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Tom Gallagher was extremely knowledgeable and put me at ease about a very distressing problem that we had in our basement. We had dampness and water that ruined our floor and was threatening a wall area on the side of our house. Mr. Gallagher answered all our questions and explained what we would need and how it should be corrected and what it would cost. We are very pleased with the work done by Aquaguard and would recommend them to anyone. This is the best money we ever spent.

The workers arrived on time and worked effeciently. They completed the work within the proposed timeframe. All debris was cleaned up when the job was completed.

OVERALL, I AM HAPPY WITH THE RESULTS OF THE WORK DONE. IT TOOK THREE DAYS AS INFORMED AND THREE WORKERS TO DO THE JOB. THEY USED A HEPA FILTER WHICH HELPED TO CUT DOWN ON THE DUST. THE JOB WAS A MESSY ONE WHICH IS INEVITABLE. THE WORKERS WERE ACCOMMODATING AND DID CLEAN UP AFTERWARDS. OTHER THAN SHOWING UP 1 HOUR EACH DAY LATER THEN EXPECTED, EVERYTHING WENT SMOOTHLY AND I HAVE NOT SEEN A DROP OF WATER IN MY BASEMENT EVEN WITH IT RAINING FOR THREE CONSECUTIVE DAYS.

JOHN PFEFFER WAS VERY THOROUGH IN EXPLAINING THE WORK AND WHAT IT COULD ACCOMPLISH. THE WORKERS WERE VERY EFFICIENT AND FRIENDLY. THIS IS A VERY DIRTY JOB AND TEARS UP A LOT OF YARD, BUT THEY DID A DECENT JOB OF GRADING. ALTHOUGH THEY WOULD HAVE RESEEDED, WE CHOSE TO HAVE OTHERS COMPLETE THE LANDSCAPING. DUE TO THEIR WORK LOAD IT TOOK A LONG TIME TO GET A START DATE, BUT THEY PROMPTLY BEGAN WORK ON THE AGREED DATE AND COMPLETED THE JOB A DAY EARLY. THE PRICE WAS TWO THIRDS OF ANOTHER BID.
