They came out and they installed french drains, and two sump pumps. They were very good.

They were fantastic. They were educated, skilled and nice to talk with.

It was very position. He gave us good advice on what we needed to do to proceed, and what we should not do in regard to the possible solutions.

Their quote was the most expensive. They were really together in their presentation. They were very knowledgeable and were able to answer my questions well.

First, I had to call them at ten in he morning the day they were supposed to do the job. They finally showed up at ten thirty. Luckily I had a sawzall so they were able to start the job without any more delay. By the time they finished it was dark. I was told that there would be dust, but I didn't realize that our game room, and everything in it, would be completely covered in a heavy layer of dust. In addition, the next day I found the driveway had the remains of the concrete mixing process. It was too cold to hose it down, and it had mostly hardened already. We could not use the game room or the garage for 30 days until the concrete was cured. I was able to clean up the garage and make it usable after cleaning up for 3 days. It has taken almost 2 months to clean up everything in the game room. The wall where they excavated is 28 feet and 9 inches long, to give you an idea of the size of the cleanup. The job itself was well done, and we are satisfied with the results. Dos Cover everything thoroughly that you can't remove from the work area. Make sure that the job is started on time, so there are no surprises the next morning. Before the crew leaves, make sure that they don't leave a mess in the driveway. Be prepared for not using the affected areas for 30 days. Br ready for a major clean up job. Don'ts Don't let them leave until you everything is completed satisfactorily

It went well from beginning to completion.

After many years of trying to solve our water problems ourselves we decided to take the plunge! My husband and I sat at the dining room table many times with waterproofing companies and our final decision was after we spoke with Tom Gallagher of Aqua Guard. Mr. Gallagher was extremely professional and knowledgeable. The crew arrived as scheduled and the work completed earlier than expected. We couldn't be happier - now we are prepared for the rainy/snow season. Hats off also to the office staff at Aqua Guard-from the Office Manager, Paula right down to the demo workers thumbs up all the way!

Worker worked diligently in tight spaces to do an excellent job of removing debris and installing inside drain pipes and pumps.

Their expert inspected the outside and the basement of my house. He suggested that before I did anything, I should have my downspouts checked. I called a plumber and sure enough, the downspout at the back of my house were clogged with dirt and leaves. He didn't take advantage of my lack of knowlege and I appeciate what he did. I don't know if this resolved the issue; I'll find out the next time we have a downpour. If I should have any more problems, I will be sure to call them again.

I signed a contract to have them run a new line underground from my drain pipes and tie it into the storm water line under the street in front of the house. Two young men showed up one morning on a rather cold December morning dug a trench, laid a new PVC line and connected to the downsppouts. under normal circumstances I would have monitored the job, but it was too cold for me. They back filled and cleaned up after themselves - every thing seemed fine. Come spring time I noticed that the pipe connecting the back downspout had separated and the water was running down the foundation. I called and within a week they had someone there to repair the problem - once again everything seemed fine. The first hard rain and the front yard is flooded - now that the downsspouts are properly connected the water is being carried to the front yard. (At least its away from the house. I dig up the end of the pipe that is supposed to be connected to the street drain - the pipe just stopped at the end of the yard - no connection. Once again I called and again they responded. they dug down and they could not find the street draiin, but they backfilled with gravel and mostof the water drains into the ground. The street drain is not where the Township believes it is..

I was very pleased with the gentleman that came out. He was very honest about any solutions and didn't force the work on me. He gave an estimate and stated he didn't believe I needed that drastic of a solution.

I am knowledgeable of basement waterproofing and I was not impress with the suggestions. This company like a lot of waterproofing companies want to sell you on the idea of doing an internal drainage system. They are cheaper and they get in and out quicker. But Internal drainage systems do not deal with the problem, they deal with the symptom. The symptom is water in the basement, but the problem is the lack of drainage and waterproofing on the outside. Even though the your basement will be dry, you will still have water seeping through the cinder block wall (that is freezing and thawing) and there is still a lot of hydrostatic pressure on the walls (which is what gravel will relieve). They did give me a quote, but it was really expensive and I was not happy with how they wanted to do the external application. No use of geo-tech fabric except for the very top of the gravel drain, and no geo-tech sock on the drainage pipe. I was impressed that they would use a PVC drainage pipe instead of the cheap sewage and drain pipe. They also said they would apply the waffle board to the coated foundation which I agree with. They might have done a good job if I would have used them, but the price was just too much for me.

Work begain and ended on schedule. The owner was often on the premises to inspect progress. The workmen also repaired broken concrete in other areas of the floor which was a no cost addition to their contracted service. I was impressed with their work and their professionalism.

I felt the service went ok. He completed the work I asked him to do, but he recommended additional work should be done. I didn't necessarily agree with this, but I should maybe have receied a second opinion.

The work was completed well, but the crew was over an hour late getting to the job and one of the workers got sarcastic with my daughter's boyfriend. My daughter has a basement door that is not in the best shape and the worker was having a hard time getting it open. My daughter's friend said he would get it for them so it wouldn't break and the worker made a nasty comment that they might as well just leave if this guy thought he could do the job. When my daughter called their office to complain, the woman on the phone defended her crew and said my daughter's friend was not nice about the way he said it. I work in customer service and have for many years. No matter what my customer may say to me - I remain professional and courteous, which I feel the workers should have been. The crew kept telling my daughter that she would need to give them a check that day since they would complete the job in 1 day. She had been told that the job would take 2 days and she would not have the check until the following day.

We ultimately did not have the work done. I was very impressed with how professional their estimator was. Not ever having had a internal french drain installed, I was unaware with how the work was performed. The estimator clearly explained everything with how the work was to be performed had we moved forward with the project. I would recommend them to anyone looking to have an internal french drain installed. Being in sales, I appreciated how this company represented themselves.

very professional - messages were returned and appts scheduled ahead of the work. Tom was very personable, had the knowledge to be able to identify and resolve the problem - he addressed any outstanding concerns by saying they would back their work up if it wasn't helping resolve the water logging problems in the backyard. office staff is courteous and very professional as well. overall, a job well done.

The estimate was reasonable. I have talked to about 5-6 organization, and I haven't made any decision yet. I didn't find the guy the most professional because of his general attitude.

Best experience we have had with contractors, ever. And we have owned and lived in 5 homes ranging in age from 1970s to 1890s. Price a little more-not much more-than some other bids, BUT the history of past jobs, references, and our personal experience made it well worth the slightly higher estimate. Very professional and thorough, offerred options (they listened to us and thought through several ways to approach the work), stuck to their schedule, paid attention to detail, cleaned up every day, came back months later when we realized one outdoor outlet that had worked prior to the work was no longer working..and fixed it. Office staff is wonderful, crew on our job was thoroughly professional.

We received an estimate which was a reasonable cost for the project. The company representative was timely, professional and knowledgeable about the product and services. We decided to go with another company because they were able to schedule us sooner and we had some time sensitive issues we had to address related to the estate sale. We would consider AquaGuard again should we need these services should we need them in our own home.

Two basement walls were leaning in and leaking water when it rained heavily. I was planning on having wall anchors put on both walls but decided on using a combination of anchors and steel beams because the back wall faced a screened in back porch and a very large oak tree and I was worried that installing anchors would damage the roots of the tree. I was told that the job would take two days and it did. The workers were polite and worked with minimal supervision on my part. The only problem that I had was the dust created from breaking up the cement for the french drain. I was warned about the dust, but didn't realize how bad it would be. Also, I had to ask the workers to cover the items in the basement and to put up a barrier to contain the dust. This is something they should have been prepared to do on their own. This is the only negative comment I have about the entire job. I am please with the job and the company and would use them again.

I got estimates from four or five companies and he was the only one to take a look at our whole system and make suggestions on what to do overall. He didn't try to sell us a bunch stuff we did not need and I appreciate that. He came out and basically we got nothing except advice; which was pretty amazing. I have a great respect for them and if I decide to do the waterproofing project it will be with them.
