Schedule appoint with the company thru my Home Warranty. Service Tech Arrived at my home not prepared with ladder to gain access to ac unit on roof from my patio, after this was specified to contractor. Service Tech indicated he would return 10am the next morning. He did not, and when I called he told me he was redirected to another job. I called corporate office to request status and they indicated no one was reassigned for my service and that they we're going to call the Warranty Company to redirect my request. I rearranged my schedule for 2 days and they did not care or apologize for the inconvenience. Would never use them or recommend to anyone!!

Stay away from them. I was stood up by them today. Called them early, at 8 AM about a broken pipe in the basement, was told they would come between 9 am and 12 pm. Called them again around noon, was told they would come later, around 3 or 4 pm. Called them around 5 pm - nobody answers the phone, left a message. Nobody called to tell me they won't be coming, no apologies. I had taken a day from work, changed plans so I can be home. Ended up sitting at home all day for nothing. Treated like dirt by them.

Very well. Plumber Joe represented the company, with work mate Bruce. Joe said what they would do, for the extensive removal and replacement of basement pipes and outside spigot. They did exactly that, and did it in a very workmanlike manner. They did it for the price they quoted. We now have very good pressure everywhere in the house.

I had a plumbing issue in my house. I called him, he came to my house right away! They told me a time they would arrive, and they were on time! That never happens. They did amazing work, fixed my issue and cleaned up their mess! Also the price was reasonable! I would definitely use them again!

I was impressed. My ac was not working properly. I called Frank and his tech came when scheduled. The tech was very kind and knowledgeable. He had my ac fixed and running perfectly in no time at all. Great company will use them all the time.

Anthony F Cost and Sons were sent to my house by my home warranty company when I requested service to my boiler. The service person showed up in a UHaul van which made me feel a little suspicious, however, he explained that his normal work vehicle was in the shop for repairs. We had a brief conversation about the boiler and he quickly set off to determine what was causing my lack of heat. The cause was painfully obvious and he diagnosed that I would need an entire new boiler and a few misc. part replaced-- this would be at no small cost. I explained that I understood that the boiler was going to need to be replaced prior to calling the warranty company, however, it is their process that their service provider come out rather than taking the word of the policy holder. He informed me that he would report his finding and the photos that he took back to his boss and that we would hear back from the warranty company about how we should proceed. 48 hours later I had still not gotten a response from Anthony Cost and Sons or the warranty company. I reached out to the warranty company to see why I had not been contacted and was informed that the service company had not called in their findings! While it may not matter to anyone else that I do not have heat in my home I am appalled that my situation was not addressed the same day as my service visit? I have a one year old son, having no heat when the temps are in the 30's is unacceptable.

Our garbage disposal was leaking and so we called our home warranty service, who dispatched A.F. Cost to address this. They responded quickly and set up an appointment. They came when they said they would, worked efficiently and professionally, and cleaned up after themselves. They did a great job and I would hire them again. It was a home warranty call, so the cost of service may not be relevant to others not covered by home warranty.

The technician came to the house to give an estimate. I received the estimate. Two weeks later I got a bill for $85. I can't believe how unprofessional it is to come for an estimate and without mentioning that payment is expected, then send a bill.

They came and were professional, as well as easy to talk to. However, they recommended over $17,000 worth of work be done on the basement in order to solve my pooling water issue, and could only provide me the video of scope in VHS cassette tape. I spent a great deal of time talking with them to understand the problem, and their recommended solution. I then did my due diligence and brought in 3 other plumbers to get estimates, and paid the last of these three to video scope the plumbing again. What I found was very surprising. First all of the other plumbers provided estimates to do the work as spec'd by Cost significantly lower. Second, the recommended work from S. Cost Plumbing (which was all exterior piping) was not necessary, nor would it have helped me solve the issue of pooling water in my basement, which was due to a belly in one of interior pipes. The total cost for the repair to fix my original issue was $3000, and, again, wouldn't have been addressed by the recommendation of Cost Plumbing. I paid a professional to convert the VHS cassette tape into a digital format so that I could ensure that Cost was utilizing imagery from my house and not some other house. The videos were the same between contractors.

I found water dripping from garage ceiling and was able to find it to be associated with master bath shower. Called the company to make appointments (estimate and actual work) - did have to call the office several times to confirm the one for actual work. The plumber showed up and quickly identified the problem and fixed it, very efficient and did the work in two hours. I do think $400 for two hours and shower drain parts is a bit high, but I guess I paid for professionalism and efficiency.

They are professional, friendly, punctual, tidy, and reasonably priced. I was able to get an appointment very quickly. Furnace working perfectly now. This is the third job I've hired them for and I will be using them regularly.

They did a great job. When the faucet didn't work correctly, they came back right away. Their price was reasonable.

He worked long and hard and did a great job. I didn't think anyone would be able to fix the issue, but he did so with great professionalism.

He was pretty good. They came when they were supposed to.

My family and I have used the services of Cost and Sons for more than 50 years and we wouldn't choose any other plumber or HVAC company. Yes, for three generations we've been using Cost and Sons. They are prompt, professional, friendly and reliable. They work quickly to repair issues and we've always been pleased with their service. They know what they're doing. You won't be disappointed by using Cost and Sons; we never are.

They come when you call. The experience with Cost and Son is very good. I have been using them for 50 years.

Amazingly, I was able to get an appointment for the day after I called, which was great considering the heat wave we are having. Tom the technician was prompt, friendly, and professional. He found the problem, repaired the unit, and was finished within 30 minutes. The AC is working fine, now. I didn't insert a price because I haven't been billed yet. Very pleased and will call AF Cost for future plumbing and HVAC issues.

They replaced three valves and taught me about what was wrong with my pipes. The gentleman was very polite and patient.

Frank and his guys know what they are doing. I told them how I needed everything updated, but not replaced. They were totally fine with that, and got everything done on time and on budget. I have used them in the past for other properties, and I will continue to use them in the future. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

They were able to fix the leak by inserting a new lining into the gas line from the curb to the house, so they did not need to dig up the whole yard. They responded promptly and had the job done in a day at a time of year when you don't want to be without gas!

They were very professional and punctual. The plumber that came was very cordial and wore boot covers. The quote they gave me was not as accurate as it could have been but that's due to the high cost of the yellow line they use for gas delivery (which they did not measure prior to quote). The work was done quickly and the plumber didn't take any unnecessary breaks. He cleaned up after himself and did a very good job all over. I will use them again.

Frank was open an honest from the start about price and the process. The service techs were extremely helpful and worked hard to timely get the job done. They also worked in conjunction with my general contractor to save me money.
