Believe the reviewers who regretted hiring this company! We had the same bad experience as many other reviewers. We had a driveway poured in July and by winter the concrete was spalling and revealing aggregate. We never placed salt on our driveway per johns instruction. When I contacted John in the winter, he assured me that the driveway could be repaired and we would never notice the difference. It s now the following July and I never heard from him. I called him today and he is now telling me it s our fault since we drove on the driveway and that he is still conferring with the cement company that mixed the cement. I am appalled at the level of deception that is employed by this company. Very dishonest guy!

We hired Americo to replace our driveway and retaining wall. Initially the experience was very positive, the crew was very nice, showed up promptly and worked very hard. BUT the quality of work that I expected for the price we paid did not meet. Poorly planned retaining wall construction, severely chipped block and a rushed concrete poured driveway are just some of the reasons for my disappointment. I do not blame the crew that did the work, I blame a lack of management and direction. Most importantly DO NOT give final payment until ALL work is complete!!!

We discussed each step of the process so that I understood the outcome. The laborers were friendly and extremely knowledgeable about their job.

The guys did a very good job. They had to deal with putting in a new sidewalk, as well as the 40 foot Oak tree that was causing the previous sidewalk to buckle. Everyone in the neighborhood has commented how great the job looks, and how nice it is not to need gymnastic skills to walk past my house.

Very detailed, honest, pleasant and friendly. I will use them in the future.

Americo did a sidewalk job at my place of business in July of 2017. They were extremely unprofessional when they came out and the original job was terrible. It was very sloppy and there were crooked lines. They came out and corrected it. Then, after only six months, we noticed the concrete chipping in many spots. This is not a heavily used sidewalk and it should NOT be falling apart. We have called and emailed them numerous times since February 2018, and as of July 2018 we have yet to have anybody come out to look at it or rectify it. I would caution people when considering this company.

I was told in detail exactly what they were going to do. They encouraged questions and answered each question. They made suggestions which helped in making decisions and made things safer. The crew was very courteous. They made changes when asked and worked very hard in the terrible heat and humidity. They finished on time. An exceptional job.

The contractors did a great job. The project was completed on time and on budget.

I thought the overall experience was great and I highly recommend them. They were on time and efficient and surprising, in a good way. They're nice fellas.

After's 6 months I have cracked corner and they would not respond to my communications, they hung up on me.

I am amazed with the job that was done. The work is exceptionally good. John the owner was very knowledgeable with the estimate, what to expect, how long it would take. The workers did a fantastic job, hard working, friendly. I wish I had done this years ago. Highly recommend this company.

I hired Americo In May 2017. Said work would begin in late June or early July. WELL, after much pestering I got them to finish the work by Labor Day. Soon afterwords, 1st rain, we noticed the steps were holding water. Contacted Americo, and got put off. Again, after pestering them and telling them that I would be leaving for the winter and that the repair work needed to be done by November only promises. Some time after we left for the Winter, someone came out and tried to repair one step. It looks terrible. Different color and the texture is like some kid did the job. After returning from the winter, we found that the Patio cement was cracked the full 18 foot length. We contacted Amerio, sent them a registered letter and am waiting for their response. I would think concrete should hold up for more that a few months without cracking. And I would think any company would stand behind their work. Concrete was different colors after they applied a water proffering. 2nd step still holds water. The people that took care of our home during the winter could not use the steps. John had told me that he had to fire Billy (the guy that showed up with a crew to do the work). Not sure what that was about. Be very careful if you want this company to do any work for you.

Started the job when scheduled and on time. Very professional job and cleaned up after project. Will use them for future concrete work. Highly recommend.

I had a wonderful experience with this company. From start to finish. I would most certainly hire them again.

Hired Americo as salesman did a good job to sell their product of cement driveway and sidewalk. They stand behind their work claimed but not quite. Concrete was poured Oct 30 & 31, 2017, same weather conditions. First pour darker gray in coloring and poor broom finish, aggregate showing up through cement, rough crumbled cement dried on 2 spots. Very poor finish job. Second pour dried with regular white cement finish and great broom finish. Salesman said it depends on lighting for dry time to equalize out... driveway is out in the same full sun so doubt this to be true. He said it would take 4-6 wks to dry completely. I waited for 2 months before calling to speak to owners. They said it will take 6-9 months to equal out in coloration. They asked for photos which I sent. Said the would come see the job. Now 2 weeks later haven't heard a word from Americo. For $15,000 this job looks terrible. I hope Home Advisor can review this company's record and intervene somehow. Very dissatisfied with this company and their work.

Don't pay until the work is done. Be there and watch them work.

I did like both the employees and the work, I just wished they would have communicated with me better, I may have made a few changes before the project was completed

They came earlier than expected and did a great job fixing the broken pipe under my driveway. Excellent job cleaning up afterward. I would definitely recommend.
