The owner is rude,hostile, aggressive. Acts very unprofessional,have a very bad attitude.

The new sidewalk is perfect and the contractor handled building permits, tree removal, etc. Excellent contractor!

Very professional...organized... the company has all the trucks, machines & trained workers so that they could get started quickly to remove old concrete, box the areas, pour the concrete and came often to protect it with insulating covers. And... the manager and the workers are all pleasant... take pride in their work ! THANK YOU FOR THE REFERRAL

Great experience with Americo Construction. Reliable and hard working. I recently hired them for another job. I needed concrete slabs removed, repaired and replaced. No issues and the result is beautiful.

Talked to three companies and all seemed to have fast talking salesmen You know...the ones doing you a favor. One day an order was given to cover the front wall of the house and the storm door with plastic. The next morning we left for the day. When we got back, the lower window of the storm door was covered heavily with concrete and then someone attempted to wipe it off. Unfortunately it is not glass...it is Lexan (plexiglass) When I cleaned the window I sprayed it first with a hose so that it would not scratch. Well...too late, it had already been scratched when they tried to wipe it off. So now I need to get a new panel for $67.00. The concrete finishing was not all that great. The one thing that was done well was the contouring of the concrete. I will give credit for that. There was concrete everywhere. On the walls, and even on the wooden wall which didnt even face the driveway. They dumped extra concrete on the side of the house. I am so glad that they did me that favor. No, I would not use them again. I would use a smaller concrete contractor. I have two more projects and that would be the way to go.

Originally I was thrilled about my experience, the company was able to schedule me within a week and get the job done. But.... Less than 60 days out, I have a crack forming and with multiple attempts to have someone come out, no one ever follows through and shows up. I have been trying for one 30 days to have someone come look, fix it, do something. I feel they just do a fast half-ass job, take yourself money and run. Sad ending to a hopeful start.

The men worked very quickly. I was impressed seeing how hard they worked. They were nice people.

Make sure to check their work carefully before paying in full. I found several gaps that i pointed out and was told to fill them in myself with caulk. Shouldn t that be their job? Also they drove part way onto one of the slabs a couple of days after the project and it left tire marks. I was told not to worry because they will eventually scuff off. ***They broke my drain pipe that runs alongside my driveway in several places. Just left it like that. I discovered it the next day during a downpour - i had a pond of water next to my new slab. It took at least 6 phone calls, multiple text messages and photos/ video images for me to get the pipe fixed by them. Took almost 2 weeks for them to fix it. The owner is a nice man and promises good work, but that wasn t my experience. He did eventually follow through on the pipe and was apologetic.

They came on time and were very professional. The work they did for me was excellent. They put in a walkway, driveway and patio. I'm very pleased with this company

Hiring Americo Construction fora residential cement job in July, 2019 was a horrendous mistake!!! They are very unprofessional, unskilled and did such a terrible job for us that it needs completely replaced. The driveway they installed is like a washboard, full of dips, ponding with water and mud and slants steeply to the right. The walkway and driveway had immediately cracked, chipped, and discolored. We have lost a great deal of money and regret the day they entered onto our property and we are advising you not to be scammed by them. You will be sorry!!!

Believe the reviewers who regretted hiring this company! We had the same bad experience as many other reviewers. We had a driveway poured in July and by winter the concrete was spalling and revealing aggregate. We never placed salt on our driveway per johns instruction. When I contacted John in the winter, he assured me that the driveway could be repaired and we would never notice the difference. It s now the following July and I never heard from him. I called him today and he is now telling me it s our fault since we drove on the driveway and that he is still conferring with the cement company that mixed the cement. I am appalled at the level of deception that is employed by this company. Very dishonest guy!
