They called and actually started a day earlier than planned. Prompt and courteous and everything went extremely well. Will always use them if concrete work is needed.

Dan Allemang and his crew showed up and started work on the day that he said he would and finished 3 days later. During the removal of the old slab sections, it was determined that the old storm drains had rusted away. For a nominal charge, Dan put in 2 new much larger drains and 4" plastic pipe. The water has never drained better since then. Dan and his crew were very professional and cleaned up the area after the job was finished. Dan previously installed the foundation and concrete slab for my detached garage 7 years ago and it still looks like new. I recommend that anybody that needs concrete work of any type get Allemang Concrete And Masonry to do the work for them. They only use top quality materials and work practices.

Went great! Hired Dan twice to do things and would recommend to anyone. Actually my neighbors had him come do work they needed once they saw what he had done for me at my house. Dan and his crew are as professional as they come and great to work with. Dan is very knowledgeable and gives great ideas on what to do and what not. Streamline performance in all his work. This was not an easy job because our house is on the high side of the street, so Dan and his crew had to climb up and down our front yard to do the work. They did an excellent job - the porch looks great and the steps are now deeper so our feet actually fit on the steps! This is not a complaint but I wish I had asked more questions - I did not anticipate the mess that this work caused. Dan was the only contractor who was willing to do the job (because of the steepness of our front yard) but I didn't plan for the damage to the grass and plants. I would rehire and recommend Dan without any hesitation, I would just ask more questions in the future.

The workers were very cooperative and took old cement pavers that went to back yard during demolition. It was a rainy summer and they built the forms and the next day squeezed in the cement pour before it rained. They had to remove part of the driveway concrete block wall to complete the steps and I asked them if they could rebuild the wall for me while they were at it. They took down the entire left side wall of the entire drive way, and dug back the dirt and backfilled with gravel and THEN rebuilt the wall. They did everything they way you would want to do things, if it was YOUR house. It was awesome. My neighbor was so impressed, she asked if they could rebuild her wall that had fallen down years ago and never put back up, just threw the blocks in a pile in the drive way. The owner's son came back all by himself on a Saturday morning and rebuilt her wall. They were so wiling to do things the right way, which is the only way in my mind. I recently had the need for a replacement 14?x24? concrete patio at my parent?s home in Baldwin Borough in Pittsburgh. Being an individual with considerable purchasing experience, I made a number of phone inquiries, finally deciding upon four companies from which to solicit a proposal. Allemang Concrete and Masonry was one of the four respondents, and in them I quickly realized I had found a very professional organization with excellent customer service skills who was truly interested in working with me. I received the most competitive price from Allemang, and, both Dan and Barb, the principles, responded to every one of my inquiries the same day after I received their quotation. All of my questions were answered timely, completely and with professionalism. And, when I finally chose Allemang as my Service Provider, they were able to expedite my request, modifying their schedule to fit my needs, and they provided service above and beyond the norm, moving various items off of the patio while I was away on business and back into place upon completion of the job. Removal of old stairs and walkway was completed. Forms were built. Concrete was delivered. I asked about rebuilding my wall. They came back and tore down the cement forms and rebuilt the wall. The entire job looks ridiculously AWESOME! Neighbors then asked them to rebuild their wall that fell down and they did on a Saturday! The steps are beautiful and the driveway wall is so tight with gravel behind it so it will last a lifetime! The guys all worked hard; they had all of the right tools; and were very courteous. Great job!!!

Dan Allemang met with me promptly after my call. We disguest the projest and how it would be accomplished. He listened to my request for special asthetic detailing and complied. The project could be completed in two days. A complete estimate was made at that time. I called Dan a few days later and advised that I was ready to sign a contract. At that time Dan advised that he could begin the project within the next two weeks and would get back with an exact time line. Within the next three days, we agreed upon the dates. Dan and crew of three workman arrived at time promised. They were well equipped to demolish the old concrete and load the truck. This was done very efficiently and with no damage to my yard. The prepairing and positioning of forms was begun and completed quickly a very professional manor. All was ready for the pouring of concrete. The next morning at the projected time, the concrete arrived. The crew worked quickly to fill the forms and finish the concrete surface. I am completely satisfied with the finished project

Dan, the owner, showed up on time and removed the exisitng wall and steps and did the forms on the first day even in the rain. The next day they returned and completed the job. I was impressed when the concrete truck driver wanted back the truck into my yard but Dan told them no they would use the wheel barrel and the scoop from the backhoe so that my yard would not be damaged. The wall and steps look great.

The concrete steps were completed with 2 days of hard work. The crew came bright and early and worked efficiently. The only interruption in the work was due to rain. I appreciated that the delays were important for the concrete to set properly. Dan did everything that he promised and within budget. The workmanship for both the steps and the wall is excellent. I have had many compliments on the work. People have even stopped their cars to inquire. I m well pleased with the overall experience with Dan and company. I would hire them again in a minute.
