I recommend Allegheny Fencing without reservation. Timely, easy to work with, and they did first rate work for a very fair price.

It went great! They were extremely professional. There was no after clean up necessary and the installers cleaned up after themselves. Foreman in charge of my project called me after we agreed on price and actually saved me about $500!

At the end of April 2018, I contacted Allegheny Fence to come give us a quote to install a chain link fence and replace all of our deck railings. I was told it would take 2 weeks for someone to even come provide the quote??? Ok, fine. On 5/16/18, “Paul” came out to look at the house and assess the project. On 5/18/18, he provided the estimate for the fence and said the estimate for the railings would be submitted to me the next week. On 5/24/18, I still did not hear from Paul and sent him a follow-up email. He responded indicating “I will try and get it to you as soon as possible”. It is now 6/25/18, and I have not heard back from Paul and never was provided an estimate for the railings. Needless to say, we hired another company and are awaiting installation. I guess Allegheny Fence could not be bothered with our $12,000+ project!!!!

We were provided quotes for new lumber and PVC fences as well as an option to repair the existing fence. We chose to repair the fence by replacing some posts and pickets. Allegheny Fence did a great job in the time they promised. When it was a bit less work than expected they gave a credit towards the original estimate. Overall very nice job and would highly recommend.

Some of the boards of my fence were broken or were in bad shape and some of the poles started to lean. I contacted Allegheny Fence Constructions for getting a quote. Mark stopped by and went through my concerns and provided me feedback on what was needed to be done. He took note of everything and a few days later he sent me an estimation. I accepted the quote and they ordered the boards to be replaced. Within a couple of weeks we had scheduled a day for doing the repairs. The day of the repairs their team showed up on time and got everything setup to do the repairs. The work took about the whole day to replace the broken boards and realign the poles adding more concrete to make them more stable. At the end they showed me all that was repaired and everything looked good.

I live in the city and own an older home. The space for a driveway gate was irregular at 9', so I couldn't just buy the pre-fabricated gates at Lowes to install it myself. A neighbor recommend Allegheny Fence Construction Co to me. Mark Balllog was out within a week to give me an estimate after my initial call and the fence was installed by a very pleasant direct employee Luke before East just as promised. I couldn't be happier with the service, price, timeliness, and quality of work preformed performed by Allegheny Fence Construction Company. I will use them for any fencing or gate needs in the future.

Shortly after, someone from the company (Dan Hartmann I believe) promptly came and I walked him through my property and I explained the project. I never heard back from him and never got a quote by mail as promised. A few weeks later I asked my landscaper to follow up with Allegheny Fence since I was on a business trip to Europe. For some reason, Dan came back to take measurements again, so my landscaper walked him through the project. Unfortunately the landscaper gave him incorrect information and Dan took the wrong measurements. He called me the following Monday to clarify the measurements differences between his first and second visit. As I started to explain the reason he cut me off and told me "let me cut through the chase... I already measured it and I am sending the quote as is, I am not adjusting it". I explained that I have the right measurements in front of me and that he did not need to come back to re-measure. He told me that he wasn't going to correct it on the bid and that I could figure out the gap on my own for the extra fence needed and redo the math myself. I was really shocked of how rude, condescending and uninterested he was on the job. He also told us that he would not do the privacy fence as we designed it because it was too complicated and would take too long, instead he would only do a simple vertical fence, When I asked him when they could do it, his answer was 3-6 weeks. I asked if that means they would start in 3 and finish in 6 or if it meant that they may start in 6 and finish on 9. His answer ... " sir, it's going to be 3-6 weeks, like I said". At that point there were red flags all over the place with this guys. If they are this difficult to deal with during the friendly honeymoon period of the selling / bidding phase, I can't imagine what they will be like once there is the inevitable misunderstanding or a problem to work though. I finally told Dan that I expected an accurate bid with a firm completion date and commitment, otherwise not to bother. I don't expect to hear back from them, and even if I did, it would have to think really hard about doing business with this company. I still have no idea why Dan ( or the company) would be so unprofessional.

They did a good job. The fence is still good, and they fixed our neighbor's fence too. They were great. They were definitely great, and they did a great job. We checked out four different people and they were the cheapest. They were the cheapest; they were better than anyone else. They did a really good job. They were really responsive. They were on time. They were really good all around.

They said they painted my rails and they never did. It took them months to come to my house and the job they did should have not been so expensive and taken as long as it did. They never even let me know they were here doing the work, and they never gave me a time frame or anything.

Turned out better than I anticipated. Done within 4 weeks of signing contract (wood had to be ordered and shippped). Installation was done professionally and expertly.

They did a solid job and it fit perfectly. They measured everything perfectly.

Never returned two calls for a sales rep to quote

Two gentleman took two and a half days to complete it and they did excellent work.

We received an estimate from Allegheny Fence for the installation of a split rail. Their estimate was more than 10% above the competition, so we did not hire them.

It was an odd request I had, but they extended a helping hand. I dropped the pieces off at their location, and was greeted by friendly staff. I was not given an estimate because it is not their usual work (home railings -they are commercial), but I had to get it repaired, so I left it with them, only being told it would not be repaired for at least two days. The next afternoon I received a call it was finished. And given the good news of the cost!

At first i was a little leery when the guys showed up. They started out sluggish but it was hot. The craftsman ship was great. I have NO COMPLAINTS. I would recommend them to anyone.

called them probably 5 times total this summer. I need 6 panels replaced and two doors put back on a privacy fence. They returned my call but wouldn't set up a time to come see the fence or give me a price estimate, so I sent photos but still never heard back. I'm moving and really wanted this done. I gave them "C' on everything else since I really don't know because they never came out.

Installation took two days as estimated. They were quick to respond when I requested and estimate. Kept me in the loop as to when date of installation and were professional.

Paul was really nice and very helpful in giving me ideas. He was patient and attentive. Their work ethic and quality sounded excellent. He mailed me detailed drawings and easy to understand price quotes. I truly regret that I can't afford their price.

It went excellent, got my permit in April and they finished up at the beginning of June .what I liked is these are in house workers, not a subcontractor ( joe and his crew is here today, mike and his crew will be here tomorrow , not a good idea). Excellent workmanship , quality of material is also excellent , I will hire allegheny fence construction again. If you want it done right , use these guys, you will not be disappointed

Paul came to do an estimate (we haven't decided who to contract with yet) and was wonderful. So pleasant and professional, thorough in his discussion of pros and cons of each type of fencing. Also discussed a railing with him and given some other details, he honestly suggested I consider other options as his would not be the most cost effective - I sincerely appreciate that level of honesty. We are still collecting other estimates, so we haven't decided what company will get our business, but my experience so far with this company and Paul were top notch.

My parents recommended this company to me as they have used them numerous times in the past and recently enlisted them to provide railing and column wraps for their renovated deck. The quality of the work and product is top notch but the prices are rather high I feel. My experience was unfortunately not as good as theirs. When the price for the work I wanted was outside of my budget, and I wasn't shy in telling them so, I asked for alternative solutions and have not received a response. My job is not very big but it's as almost as if my business is not wanted, which I can partially understand given the time of year and the size of jobs they do. However in the future I will be installing a new fence along the perimeter of my back yard so this unfortunately would not lead me to solicit this company for future job bids.

I am very happy with the installation and quality of the fence. The installer was truly meticulous. We are not allowed to have vinyl fences in my neighborhood, so we had to opt for the more expensive, and higher maintenance wood fence. It looks great though! And I think it will last many years.

Gave a fair estimate. Came on schedule. Completed the work on time as estimated. Cleaned-up.

Did not send estimate when supposed to and Mark was rather short with me when I reached him two days after we were supposed to get the estimate. He seemed like he doesn't want our business so I am still looking.
