I was quoted $350 for one room, if the walls were ready to be painted. I asked him to paint the bathroom, as well. We asked them to remove the wallpaper prior to painting, and he said he would. Then he came and said he could not remove the wallpaper, and he would have to paint over it. He said that it would be fine to paint over it. When he did so, there was a huge bubble that resulted, along with some little bubbles. Now, I see that it is peeling off. As for the room that he painted for $350, we picked the paint for the walls, and we also said we wanted white paint for the woodwork. He only brought white flat paint even though I wanted satin used on the trim. He didn't want to get any other paint, even when I told him the flat paint isn't what I wanted used on the trim on the windows. After he left, I noticed on the wood floor and there were tiny specks of paint everywhere. It took me hours using paint remover, a scraper, and my fingernails to remove these specks of paint. He did a lousy job in our bathroom. We paid him for it, it was a terrible job, and it didn't last. He was the worst painter I've ever had and would never recommend him.
Description of Work: I asked him to paint a bedroom.
