. The workers were prompt, polite, professional. They installed all new cabinets, floor , appliances and painted the kitchen and powder room. Installed beautiful granite counter tops in kitchen and granite with sink bowl on beautiful cabinet in powder room. Installed pergo flooring in kitchen and tile floor in hall and powder room . They installed my new washer , dryer and commode. Mr. Gogal is so professional and always gave great suggestions and asked my opinion as well. My kitchen and powder room are abolutely beautiful. I would definitely recommend All Star Custom Kitchen to anyone. I did have other companies for estimates but Mr. Gogal was not only the most reasonable but also the most professional. I wouldn't hesitate to have him again for any future kitchen work.

Tom and his colleagues did an outstanding job expanding and renovating our kitchen. We?ve received many compliments on the kitchen?s appearance as well as the quality of the workmanship. We recommend All-Star Custom Kitchens without reservation. The whole process from beginning to end went extremely well. Even before we signed on the dotted line Tom spent lots of time with us sharing his many creative design ideas. He continued to share his ideas as the job progressed. Tom started when he said he would and he finished on time. He was always responsive to our questions (many of them!) and the few concerns we had along the way. Tom has a great positive attitude?he simply does not accept that something you would like to have done can?t be done. When we proposed making changes, Tom was always clear about additional cost, if any?there were no surprises. Tom and his colleagues were personable and friendly. In summary, Tom and his colleagues did a superb job. If you are looking to renovate your kitchen, make sure you talk to Tom before deciding on a contractor.

We received several estimates for this kitchen project. Tom Gogal provided the most comprehensive approach to providing us with the outcome that we had envisioned at a price that compared favorably to the others. Tom was patient and consultative throughout the planning process as there were a number of changes requested. We chose Tom Gogal's All Star Custom Kitchen for the project and presented him with an absolute firm requirement that the kitchen be complete for Christmas. Tom presented a detailed statement of work, timeline and payment schedule upfront eliminating any uncertainty as to how things would proceed. The work began precisely when Tom said it would and he communicated thoroughly throughout each step as to ensure we knew what to expect and when to expect it. His crew and sub-contractors were all highly skilled professionals that were prompt and respectful. Tom handled several items that presented themselves during the project that were out of scope initially. The project was completed on the exact date that Tom had indicated during the planning phase. Tom was immediately available and highly responsive to all questions and inquiries and focused on ensuring our comfort and understanding throughout a large stressful project. Total elapsed time from beginning to end was approximately 5 weeks. We would strongly recommend All Star Custom Kitchen.

He was very loyal. What he said he would do he did. He is all about doing the job. He did a great amazing job, him and his team. He said 4 weeks and he was actually done in 4 weeks. And he walked me the whole way through it.

After speaking with several other contractors who never came to our home and who consistently told me "No you can't do that," Tom came to our home, walked in and immediately began spouting ideas punctuated with "Sure, we can do that." We had our plan within a week and we started the project on time and it stayed on time. Tom only does one project at a time so he never leaves you to do something else. His crew is wonderful, friendly and does everything they can to make the project go smoothly and Tom works right along side them. Everyone went out of their way to see that our dream kitchen became a reality and we could not be happier with the finished product. As other reviewers have noted, everything except the counter tops and plumbing was done within 2 weeks and after the counters were installed they came the next day to complete the job The cabinets are custom made to your specifications and you have the opportunity to meet with the Amish cabinet maker to go over the plans. Tom's goal is for you to be completely satisfied with the finished product and he absolutely achieve his goal. There is no reason to go anywhere else.

Tom was very responsive and friendly. He helped to design the new kitchen layout and had great ideas on what would work best given our needs and interests. He also assisted in picking out colors and fixtures. We were vey pleased with the results of our kitchen regarding the functionality, quality, and design which was a direct reflection of Tom and his work.

I had heard horror stories of contractors still working on kitchens 7 and 8 weeks out from the start of work. There is none of that here. When the job was bid, he indicated a start date and he started on time. The crew was there every day and they worked full days. All work (with the exception of installation of the granite, plumbing hook up for the sink and dishwasher and other minor finish work) was complete within two weeks. The day after the granite was installed, the crew returned for two days to complete the remaining work. Most of the time the owner is there working right along side the crew or actively supervising. He is a perfectionist and makes certain the work is completed on time and correctly. We could not be more pleased with the results.

Prior to hiring someone to remodel my kitchen, I searched Angie's List for kitchen remodeling firms in my area. Armed with a list, we then visited the Pittsburgh Home Show and talked with several prospective contractors. We met Tom Gogal (owner of All-Star Kitchens) and his son, and were impressed with the work he did, and especially the fact that he did the work himself. We met with Tom at our house in March and signed a contract with him, asking that the work not begin until July. He was able to accommodate our schedule, and began the work July 8th, finishing August 1st. Tom was very courteous as were all his employees. He always left us know when he would be arriving and they cleaned up after each days work. He allowed 4-6 weeks for the entire job and they completed the work in 4 weeks time. The kitchen was complete in 2 weeks but we knew we had to wait 2 weeks for the quartz countertop and sink to be installed. As soon as that was done, Tom came the next day to hook up the plumbing to the sink and dishwasher which completed the job. I am very pleased with my new kitchen and would recommend All Star Kitchens.

Very professional and punctual with return call even though they would not be able to accomodate my desired completion date. Offered to come out and do estimate if I was willing to adjust my timeline. Was very nice to have a call answered instead of just ignored because they were too busy.

From start to finish, Tom did a fantastic job. We started with a discussion of the design and changes we wanted to make. Within a week, Tom showed us a computer rendering of the new kitchen. He began the job exactly on schedule and was able to keep the project on schedule even after we ran into an unanticipated problem with the floor. The job was completed on time and it really looks great. I would also add that Tom is one of the most professional contractors I have ever worked with. If he couldn't answer a call immediately, he would call back very promptly. And he always called ahead of time when coming over to let us know when he'd be there. In addition to looking great, the craftmanship of the work is first rate with excellent attention to detail in all aspects of the project. The under-cabinet lights that Tom included really enhance the look. And even though it wasn't part of the job, he fixed a pocket door between the kitchen and dinning room that a previous contractor had broken. In summary, we couldn't be more pleased with our new kitchen and how Tom made it happen. I highly recommend All Star Custom kitchens.

Tom Gogal is very dependable and trustworthy. His company did most of the "dirty work" working with plaster dust while we were away on a 2 week cruise. When we returned, WOW!!! the Amish cabinets were installed.

Everything went great. Tom promised to be done in 5 weeks even with the installation of granite counter tops. And he was finished in 41/2 weeks. He accommidated our changes very well and offered some very good suggestions for us to consider. He did a great job and was easy to work with, We are very happy we chose Tom to remodel our Kitchen. We definately would recommend him for others.

I really love the cabinets. They are made by an Amish man in Pennsylvania. I was able to go up there and interact with him directly. He fulfilled my preferences and let me help him get the job done according to what I wanted. The cabinets are absolutely beautiful and they're built beautifully. The builder was very nice. He made several trips to consult with me before the job and he was always prompt. He was patient with me and I had interviewed other people and decided to go with him. They always cleaned up well and they were always checking to make sure I was okay with everything. I was very happy with everything and I love it.

Tom did a wonderful job from start to finish. I found him to be enthusiastic, professional, courteous, trustworthy and knowledgeable in all facets of home improvement. He always arrived on time and cleaned up at the end of each workday. He made many suggestions on the best use of space. He suggested moving the sink over a little which enabled him to put in a lazy susan in one of my bottom cabinets. This gave me much more space than I had before. He never steered me wrong on any of his suggestions He was also nice enough to take me to Home Depot to pick out various items, and also to the granite factory to pick out my new granite countertop . Tom deals with Amish-built cabinets and they are truly beautiful and affordable. The quality of the cabinets is far superior to anything you can buy at the "box" stores. The workmanship is incredible. I am very happy with all of Tom's work -- the tile work, carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical. He gave me a beautiful kitchen with maximum utilization of space and his price was fair and reasonable. He more than exceeded my expectations and I heartily recommend him.

He did a really nice job with the painting. We also had electrical problems with some double ovens his company installed. He fixed it right away when he realized it was wiring issues caused by his worker. He was honest about the problems and said he would fix it.

After interviewing several contractors, big and small, we chose Tom because he had the best, realistic ideas for our kitchen remodel. He was neat, punctual and paid attention to details. Honest to a fault, he made sure we were aware of any difficulties and also showed us ways to get the best value for the money we were spending. Our beautiful kitchen was finished in less than six weeks.

It was a great experience. Tom told us it would take about five weeks, and he was right on the money. He provided good suggestions along the way.
