I have a great plumber. He is terrific. He works himself. I just always pay him when he is here so I really never needed his address. He is just fabulous. It was free. For what he came and did, he said, I am not going to charge you for that and he didn't. He has done significant things for me. He has done way bigger jobs and he has always been excellent. He has always been very reasonable with his price. You hear from him right away

We had a kitchen sprayer that was broken and the model had been discontinued. We were able to get a replacement sprayer, but the way it connected was totally different. We called Al on Wed morning and asked if he would be able to fix it. He told me he could be there the next day. That same evening he sent me a text to confirm this. He got there the next day and was able to fix it in about an hour and it works perfectly again.

Al first came to my home to assess the work to be done and provide estimates. He took pictures with his smartphone, which he uses instead of a notebook. He explained the work needed to bring my hot water tank installation to code and explained the calculations involved in assessing whether it could vent through my chimney stack or not. He presented as very personable and knowledgeable. I felt very comfortable with his personality and his expertise. Al then followed up in a timely manner with estimates via text message. The hot water tank installation ($789.00) was completed on one day, and the laundry tub and 1st floor tub drain repair ($925.42) were completed on another day. Al shared that he was able to get and quot;saleand quot; prices on both the tank and the laundry tub, and would pass this savings along to me. The hot water tank installation went off without a hitch, with the only inconvenience being that the water had to be shut off throughout the house to complete the work. I filled buckets and pitchers and survived :) The laundry tub install and drain repair went smoothly enough, until Al attempted to put my vanity and sink back in place, which had to be removed to gain access to the bathtub drain/vent. Apparently my sink drain, which was probably older than I am, had rotted and fell apart when reinstalled, causing some water leakage. Once replaced, we thought we were back in business. However the drain had clogged with (likely) debris from the rotten drain and now there was a very gross, very black backup of drain mess. Plungers and snakes did not clear it. Whatever the clog was, it was not going to be dealt with easily! Al remained steadfast, accessed the pipe from the basement, and the clog finally broke free. Oh but what a mess it left behind! Poor Al was at my house for several hours past the plan due to these unforeseeable complications. It certainly was not his fault that the old drain fell apart, nor was it his fault that the drain clogged up afterwards. Nevertheless, he stayed quite late until it was all cleaned up, and refused to charge me any extra. I offered to pay whatever he felt was fair, as none of this was predictable or his fault, but he refused. I remain very happy with the work completed, will happily refer friends and neighbors to Al, and will certainly call him again when I need him! Please see the attached photos of the work Al did for me...he BENDS the pipes where he can, avoiding soldered connections that might leak in the future. Frankly, I think he makes plumbing look ARTFUL! :)

Just the way he does his work. He's meticulous with his work. He is a master plumber. I stated to recommending him to my neighbors.

Albert is a retired plumber/facilities manager from West Penn. He has helped us out several times over the years with various small plumbing issues: leaking faucets, clogged drains, etc. Albert is very nice to work with and is very knowledgeable about the old plumbing in our neighborhood. Albert's quick response to our message at the end of his long day was very kind and saved us from additional stress and hassle from dealing with a small water leak.
