They did a great job. We have had it since 2004 and have had no problems.

Their price was lower than other bids that I received. A few years after the installment, one of the gate posts dropped a little, which prevented the gate from closing properly. I'm happy with the outcome.

We were very pleased with them and the railing they installed. The man who came out for the estimate was very nice to deal with. When he came out initially our new wall was not yet started and he had to remeasure for the job once the wall was done, which caused the price to change a little bit. He worked with us on the cost and we were actually able to bring the cost back down below the original estimate by changing a few options. The man who installed the railing was very meticulous in his work. He even came on a Sunday to make sure the work was done perfectly and on schedule. He made sure that both sections of the railing lined up correctly so it looked like it was only one piece.

I called Affordable Fence and Railing; LLC for information on their fencing, I scheduled an appointment for them to come to my house. They have a salesman that comes right to your house to show you the fencing that they sell, he was not pushy and we picked from the fencing they had. They do quality work and I'm very satisfied with it. They were professional and I will use them again.

They did everything they said they were going to do. I think I got my money's worth. They were right on time. They were great. I would absolutely use them again.

It turned out good. They had a coupon, we did see a bad review somewhere but we took a risk and they did a great job for us. They were very prompt and we were very happy. They did it quick, we've had it up for 2 years and had no problems. They did a good job, our yard isn't perfectly level and they had to make an adjustment and add something more durable because of the gap but they didn't charge us extra. They went above and beyond.

When I contacted them, I ended up leaving my phone number with an answering service. After I called the answering service back the following day (apparently that is the only way to contact this company) I rec'd a call back that evening stating that if I wanted a rough quote, could I fax over a sketch. I faxed over a sketch and after another few days of no response, I called the answering service back, left another message and never heard from them again.

The price was good and the guys were nice. I did not feel taken advantage of in anyway. The installers worked hard and even taught me how to install fencing. It was just like a scene from my favorite HGTV programs. The yard looks very nice. I am spending more time than ever outdoors. The gate is also very nice with an excellent lock and key that I was not expecting.

The quote was reasonably priced at $1150 for 11ft of vinyl railing. I had another quote from Bella Railing for $1642 for a very similar install and vinyl railing. Bella provided me with an excellent presentation on their company, the type of material they use, the waranty/guarantee information and most importantly a written quote/contract that detailed everything we discussed. Mark from Affordable WOULD NOT leave a written estimate and even refused when I attempted to make a copy of the worksheet he was using the calculate the price, he offered to write down the price only on a piece of paper. I asked him to mail me a copy of the estimate, I never received anything from him. I never felt comfortable with Mark and the information he was providing me. I WILL NOT hire this company nor will I recommend them. From other reviews it seems like a quality company for fencing but not for railing. I will be spending the additional money to go with Bella Railings.

I called Affordable Fence and described what I would like done and they sent someone out for an estimate the next day. He took some measurements and discussed some options with me. A few days later, another person called me with an estimate. The price was reasonable, so he mailed me a contract. I sent it in. They required a down payment of half the value of the fence. The reason (I was told) was that they had to custom order the small spacing aluminum fence. They did not require a down payment on other fence types, only special orders. They took a few more weeks to start the installation (as they said they would). Two guys came out and installed the fence. They did an awesome job, and was sure to ask questions about what I wanted a long the way. They did not install the gate at the time as I was told they needed a measurement. I did not expect this, but at least they gave me a make-shift "gate" to keep the dogs in. 10 days later they installed the gate. Overall I love the fence, and the company did a great job installing it.

It went very well. They actually called to see if they could come a week earlier than scheduled, which was no problem. They showed up on time and mostly prepared, though many of the posts were to be set into existing concrete and this was not noted on the drawings that they had received from the estimator. The first day they dug most of the holes and set the posts, and it took another 1.5 days to complete the fence. The guys were very professional and cleaned up after they completed work.

It went really smoothly. The guys are really hard workers. Day 1 they put they dug the holes for the posts and cemented them in place. Day two, they put up the rest of the fence.

They scheduled a time and never showed up and were completely unresponsive to my other requests.

This company was nearly 40% lower in price than other companies that we had quote us. Quality of fencing is good. Some settling of the rear privacy fence occurred over the winter, which I'm told is normal. I like the fencing a lot, but the settling of the rear fence has caused the rear gate not to open as smoothly as it originally did (other than the gate not opening as smoothly, you cannot notice the settling). Overall, I am satisfied with their work. The workers completed the work over two day and did a good job of cleaning up after themselves.

Their quote was less then the previous company we looked at. A friend recommended them to me. They did a good job. The quality of their work was good and they cleaned up after themselves. The young men who came to do the job were very good. They came a bit late due to the weather.

The cedar fence they put up rotted in less than two years, so I called and one of the employees who came out agreed with me that the fence was not done very well and said he would talk to the owner of the company and have it replaced. The owner came out about a week later and started screaming at me in the yard and told me it was my fault because I stained it. They never did replace the fence.

The start of work was delayed several days, costing us time and money,with only vague excuses being given. We finally had to DEMAND that the work begin or that our deposit be returned. The work was VERY shoddy, and the workmen left our property quite trashed each night and over the weekend, with empty Gatorade bottles and pieces of paper and scrap pieces of fencing left scattered around the front, side and back of the property. The gate latches were very cheap and poorly installed. The fence is completely off plumb, and crooked. They tried to change price from what was on the original estimate and in conversations with the owner of the company he was extremely rude and easily flew off the handle, even at the asking of a simple question. No customer service skills what so ever. I would recommend avoiding this contractor completely. We do not know if the fence will even remain standing.

Overall, this company did a terrible job. Their installers were inexperienced. They performed sloppy work and left a mess that we had to clean up ourselves. The owner(s) of the company did not check the job site once during the installation. There is *NOT* one post that is set plumb, the entire fence is out of alignment and uneven. This is perhaps one of the poorest installations of a good product that I have ever seen. The owner, Jim Rouser, got in a shouting match with my brother inlaw and I had to step in and physically separate them, before blows were struck. I would advice anyone thinking about using this company to think again and go elsewhere. I'm not kidding, this place is at best a total ripoff.

I CALLED AFFORDABLE FENCING 2 TIMES TO REQUEST AN ESTIMATE FOR A NEW FENCE. I DID NOT SPEAK TO A REPRESENTATIVE FROM THE COMPANY. BOTH TIMES I GOT THE ANSWERING SERVICE EVEN THOUGH I CALLED DURING NORMAL BUSINESS HOURS. I LEFT 2 MESSAGES IN THE LAST WEEK, BUT I HAVE NOT RECEIVED A CALL BACK.
