Excellent! I had my regular plumber of 5 years come out 3 days prior to snake the lines at a cost of $210; they backed up again 3 days later. So I called them to come back out, but they did not have time for me. In fact, they were rude and would later not back off of the $210 charge. So I called AJ Buerkle and man-oh-man was I pleased. Timely and excellent service! Customer service was very friendly and grateful, and Frank did a fantastic job, very thorough and professional. My plumber from here on is AJ Buerkle!

They said they didn't do that kind of project, but gave me excellent advice on how to do what I needed to do. Also recommended an excellent contractor for additional work I needed.

We got them because they are down the road from us. They have been fine. I guess the price would be average.

Called the morning after leak was discovered and they came right away. Told them I would replace the hot water heater regardless as it was 10 years old and due. They came right away. Determined that I also needed an expansion tank and a new pressure relief valve. Work was completed around lunch time. I've always used Buerkle since moving into this house and have always been satisfied with their work.

Success! Timely and professional. Knew right away the possible cause and corrected.

Jeff was wonderful to work with. He explained everything he was doing and things that I should keep an eye on and things that might affect the efficiency of my system. He left with me having a good feeling on the understanding of my system and things I need to be prepared for in the future.

We had been away for several weeks and when we got home and my husband turned the water on, water from the second floor bathroom poured into the first floor kitchen through the ceiling and into the bath through the ceiling and the fan vent. It even ran down the walls into the basement. Fortunately, my husband could turn off the water to the second floor without disrupting the water to the rest of the house. This happened on a Sunday and we knew service charges would probably be higher than on a weekday. So we called Mr. Buerkle on Monday. He came out to assess the damage and gave us an estimate of repair costs, explaining that he couldn't be specific until the ceiling was opened and he could see exactly what needed to be done. His plumber, Ron, arrived about 2 days later and completed the work in one very long day without a break (no pun intended).Ron was careful to cover the floors and sink, etc. to avoid material from the ceiling damaging anything and he also cleaned up and hauled away everything. He also gave me some of the burst pipes to show the insurance adjuster. Because there had been water in the ceilings, we had to allow all of that to dry before having the ceilings closed up and Ron wanted to make sure there were no residual leaks. There were no more leaks. So a week or two later another person, I think Mr. Buerkle referred to him as a finisher, came to close up the ceiling and texture it to match the parts that hadn't been opened. He was not an employee of Mr. Buerkle's, so he was paid separately. The work he did was excellent. We were so pleased by Mr. Buerkle's quick response and the workmanship of his employees and subcontractors (if that's an accurate term)for this problem, that we hired him to replace the stationary tubs and drain in our laundry room and then tear out and remodel our basement bathroom. Again, we're very satisfied with all of the work that was done.

Joined Angie's List specifically to find a reputable plumber in my area. Researched who was available and called A J. Buerkle Plumbing & Heating based on customer reviews and Angie's List rating. I called the contractor's office and spoke to Bonnie who was very professional and helpful. She made an appointment for me for Oct. 27th and advised "Ron" would be out between Noon and 4, but would call before he came. She also stated that Mr. Buerkle handled the gas fireplace and would call me to schedule an appointment. Approximately 20 minutes later, Mr. Buerkle did call me and said he would be able to come on Oct. 27th also in the afternoon and would call me before coming. On Oct. 27th at approximately 12:30 Ron called and advised he was would be there in approximately 1/2 hour. I appreciate that Bonnie told me the name of the repairman when I originally called. Ron came and we went over everything I wanted done. He actually advised me against something and explained the increased potential of the pipe freezing in the winter. I really appreciated his honesty and experience. He fixed the leaking water pipe, installed the garbage disposal and brought to my attention another problem under the sink. I advised him to fix that also - there was absolutely no pressure from him to do the additional repairs, but I am appreciative that he pointed it out to me to make the decision. Mr. Buerkle called and came out and we went over everything regarding the gas to the fireplace. I had previously talked to a plumber regarding this and was advised it would be an easy job. Mr. Buerkle was very thorough and pointed out to me everything that would have to be done and why it needed to be done. I am planning to using Mr. Buerkle to do this work and am glad that I did not go with the original plumber. There is quite a bit more due to how my fireplaces are situated and other factors and I feel confident and more importantly safe that it will be done right. I will definitely use A J Buerkle Plumbing & Heating again. I was very impressed and grateful for the way everything was handled - from my original phone call to the office and Bonnie's handling of it - for Ron's expertise in repairing and advising me on the repairs - and Mr. Buerkle for his recommendations on the gas installation for the fireplace and the way that he runs his company.

They were unresponsive and I had to make repeated calls to get answers to my questions. They installed the heat pump it on 2/19 and then it wasn't working correctly a couple of months later. They ordered a new motor and installed it. The service provider was supposed to get a new thermostat but never did. I called him about the thermostat at the end of August and I still don't have it.

Installed the new energy efficient gas boiler. Dis a marvelous job with attention to detail.

All aspects of this activity were very positive except for the price being higher than the successful provider.

The guys were prompt, very polite, very experienced, and did a great job. We were extremely pleased.

Provider showed up on time. Quickly fixed a number of small problems using parts that were in his truck. Price was right.

Arrived at the stated time, explained what he would do. Did not waste time went about his work in a professional maner. he answered all my questions and cleaned up. i was very happy with the service provided, and will use this plumbing company again.

It went well. The owner came over for an estimate and the serviceman came within a couple days. Overall, very happy with the service.

I was satisfied with them. I felt like they were clear and helpful. They explained things well. They were good at scheduling. I would use them again.

I called Mr. Buerkle because we thought something was wrong with our gas fireplace. We would smell gas after using it, and it only worked intermittently. It had never been inspected for safety, and we weren't 100% clear on exactly how to use it, and what all the levers and buttons purposes were. Mr. Buerkle came out on short notice,and took this time placing our logs properly and explaining everything to us. The unbelievable part was that he didn't charge us! There really was nothing wrong with the fireplace, but we couldn't believe he didn't charge us after spending at least at hour giving us a tutorial on the proper and safe usage of the fireplace. He was so sweet, and we will use his services in the future if need be.

The service went very well, no call backs were required.

They were clean, they were in, they were out. They took a couple days to do it but they did a great job. They did what they said they were going to do and we haven't had any problems with their units. They have us some choices of selections. They said do you want this one, this is what we recommend and we looked up on Consumers to see what we thought we wanted. We talked it over with them and then we made a selection. They ordered it and put it in and it works fine.

I am extremely pleased with the response. Contacted the company after hours on 1/8/2014 and spoke with the answering service. Within 10 minutes of that call I received a call back from Mr. Buerkle. We discussed my situation and all of the options available to me. We decided to wait until the next day for service. By 8am the next morning 1/9/2014 a representative from AJ Buerkle contacted me and was on the way over. He recommended that we find the valve to shut off to ensure no more ruptures through the winter. He checked all water. The gentleman was very professional and knowledgeable. Will call AJ Buerkle for all of my plumbing needs first.

I called on Wednesday 12/18 to inquire about having gas logs that I had purchased online installed in my fireplace. There was an existing gas "starter" line in the fireplace and I could not get the piping apart. Mr. Al Buerkle showed up that same day and walked me through different options to install the logs. We agreed on the easiest route and he had someone show up at 9 am the next morning. They called 20 minutes prior to let me know there were coming. Frank arrived right on time and got straight to work. He removed the existing piping and installed the gas log set. He made sure everything worked correctly and safely, checked for leaks and performance. The entire ordeal took about 90 minutes. Both Al and Frank couldn't have been more pleasant and professional. They were both very thorough in explaining what needed to be done. I had gotten a previous estimate from a big name local plumber who wanted to reroute 30 feet of gas line and charge over $2000 to do this job. I am sure glad I got a second opinion and Buerkle's has won my business for sure.

Al Buerkle sent a plumber to check things out. After thorough testing to diagnose exactly what was causing leak, the plumber called in Al for confirmation. They did not want to make a mistake - because this was potentially a huge problem. Al suggested we call our insurance company because the work that had been done a couple years before to "fix" the same problem, had obviously not been done correctly. Insurance adjuster confirmed Al's diagnosis. We went ahead, using Buerkle's as the contractor. Much of the work turned out to be covered by our insurance - to which we are thankful that Al suggested we look into. The man brought in to do the tile work was top notch, and we would hire him to do anything regarding tile again, with no second thoughts. He offered very helpful suggestions, and was meticulous to make sure everything looked like it belonged and matched in our 8 year old "new" and luxurious bathroom from the start. Buerkle's came out to readjust the shower faucet ( it is a top of the line brand that did require some investigation to get it "just right") twice after the work, to educate us on its proper use and make sure we were satisfied. We are extremely happy with the entire process and outcome.

It was a hard job and they worked quite hard accomplishing this task.

My experience overall went very well. We were very pleased with the job done. The job ended up being more detailed than expected, but they did not charge us extra for the extra work. The cleanup was not the best, however.

His work, professionalism and service has been excellent so far.
