Yocum Shutters & Blinds

The project went really well. We had great guidance in the selection process, the price was right, turnaround from placing the order to receiving the blinds/shutters was reasonable, and installation was flawless.

Yocum was great! They were very accommodating with scheduling. We love the work they did and would recommend and hire again.

Frank and the team were an absolute pleasure to work with. From start to finish they were extremely informative to my options, differences in prices, and worked around my schedule to the best of their ability for installation. The finished product was outstanding (and trust me, I'm a perfectionist). I would gladly recommend Yocum to family and friends and will be doing so in the future.

The blinds are nice however, the merchant did not honor the second deal that was purchased even though it was within the time frame and the limit per household which was two. The merchant was insulting telling me that I was "trying to get one over on them" and that "Angie's List has all their money". I would not recommend this company. It was difficult and frustrating dealing with the woman who was scheduling the appointments.

Will work with them in the future. Customer Service has been great.

Went very well. Jim Yocum even came to our house to resolve an issue with the shutters. Was on time and completed repair himself.

I had my kitchen remodeled and new windows installed. While the kitchen was being remodeled, I saw a deal on Angie's list for blinds for $199 valued at $500 from Yocum Shutters and Blinds. I purchased the deal. I had to delay measurements because the windows had not been framed. Once the contractor finished installing the window frame, Yocum Shutters and Blinds came out and took measurements. There was a nice selection of colors. I selected the perfect color. When the blinds came in, I received a call to arrange installation. Installation went without a hitch. The mini blinds are a perfect match for my kitchen color scheme and really add the finishing touches to the windows. The entire process was very comfortable. Yocum Shutters and Blinds, from measurement to installation, was a pleasure to work with. I would recommend Yocum, and in the event I need more window treatments, Yocum will be my first call.

Jim and Kensey are a dream to work with. Jim is very helpful with choosing the right products and they worked to get everything done within a short timeline and the pricing was more than fair. I will be calling on Yocum the next time I need blinds.

I had to go to west Chester, about 3/4 hr drive to select what I wanted and their hours were not great for my schedule. I went the Saturday of memorial weekend. They were supposed to be open until 2. I got there at 1 and they were already closed. It took me 2 weeks until I was able to get there again. Once there it was fine. The shade I wanted was way too expensive so I just ended up getting the blinds. They look great. Everyone was very nice and easy to work with

The service from Yocum's was very good. It was not a big job, only 4 windows in total, but it was treated as such. Often times I find it harder to get good service when it isn't a big, higher paying job. This was a job well done. It was on time and done right.

He is out of our area, so I needed something closer.

Nothing was done. Several attempts was made at the time to contact these guys to no avail. But to be fair I cannot rate them fairly.

The installer was on time, polite, did a great job, and cleaned up afterwards. They were a pleasure to work with. They came out, measured the windows, and ordered the blinds. When they arrived they returned to install the blinds. There were no hidden costs Just remember, the price of the blinds is over and above the cost of the initial fee, but still very reasonable as we priced the same blinds at JC Pennys and the cost was triple, I would recommend them, and use them in the future.

Everything went according to plan. Installer arrived on time and completed the installation efficiently.

Purchased Angie's List Big Deal. Yocum Shutters & Blinds contacted me right away. Installer came out shortly after to discuss shutter configuration, color, took measurements, etc.. He was very personable and professional. It didn't take long for shutters to arrive. They are high quality and very attractive. The price was very reasonable. After installation, we noticed that one shudder was upside down. We contacted Yocum right away. It turned out to be a manufacturer's problem (not an installation problem) and took a while to resolve but Youcum made it right. We love our shutters and overall, the experience was a positive one. I would definitely use them again.

This is the second time we used Yokum to purchase blinds within 3 months. The entire process went well from the service call to selection of the type and color of the blinds to installation. The blinds look great.

Ordered deal service, contractor contacted same day and scheduled appointment; contractor measured blinds, reviewed options and advised expected delivery date; contractor called to confirmed delivery, installed blinds and did followup call.

Owner was very responsive. Good communication. Thought pricing was ok, but not great. Installer was very professional, had good ideas, and did an excellent job. Finished product is beautiful. Would recommend and use again. Bottom line you get what you pay for.

It was good. The installers were good and professional. The service took a couple weeks for the order to come in and it was fine. The scheduling was good.

Everything went well. They measured well and they fit perfectly and they gave us several generous discounts. The costs were spelled out clearly.

I couldn't be more dissatisfied by this vendor. The offer was $9.00 for $200.00 worth of Hunter-Douglas blinds or shutters. I only need a shutter for one window (36" X 36") and Yocum informed me it would be an additional $410.00! These shutters must be made of GOLD to justify such a high cost and I would never recommend anyone take this deal since it looks like a classic "bait & switch."

Yocum Shutters and Blinds was an absolute pleasure to deal with. They are extremely professional, responsive and friendly and care about what the customer wants. They were easy to contact, responded promptly to phone calls and have convenient times to come by and measure and/or install their wares. I dealt with Jim Yocum, Kimze and Justin (Kimze's son). They are all wonderful and take pride in their work and business. The blinds were what I ordered and they were installed perfectly and quickly. (I ordered white shutter blinds for my living room). I highly recommend Yocum Shutters and Blinds!
