Fast Estimate , had many estimates from other companies and Waterproofing One was the best price for Us , Joe was very confident and knowledgeable and gave Us good suggestions for our leaking basement, the crew that installed the French drain inside were great, install looks very professional. I figured we’d have a mess to clean up after the install understandably. But wow they did an incredible job cleaning up afterwards. Not a speck, they even spent time cleaning off the driveway and front lawn. We have been through one major rain storm since the install and not a drip of water. So far so good , we are getting an expected 3” in the next 24 hours and it’s a relief to know I don’t have to stress about rain storms anymore!

Great service, affordable, easy to deal with. Would use again should the need ever arise.

We had them install a new french drain in our basement in June of 2014. There were significant problems during the installation - shortcuts, outright lying, shoddy workmanship, etc. At the time we wanted noting more than to be done with them, thinking that at least we had a dry basement. Within 6 years, we had water in our basement. There was no way we were going to have them back, so we contacted other providers - every single one of which could not believe how poorly the initial work had been done. Each person who came out pointed out multiple errors/problems in the work done by Waterproofing One. One provider even knew who had done the work before asking me as they have done so much work cleaning up after Waterproofing One. Do not hire this company. You will be sorry.

They did a very nice job, were very neat considering the kind of work they had to do. The leader of the work group was very respectful and answered all my questions. Since I didn’t have all the money to pay them at once, they gave me two months to pay off the rest.

The crews run by Lorenzo and Chase did a great job. Very courteous and hard working and they cleaned the job up well before leaving each day.

I would not say this was the best or worse experience I have had with a contractor. Mike came to my house and looked at the scope of work and gave me an approximate price of $4,300. When he emailed me the quote a week later it was $5,400. I called Mike about the discrepancy and he said we would split the difference which I was OK with but still not thrilled about how this started. When I originally called Waterproofing One the women asked me how I heard about them I told her I saw that they were a local (Phoenixville, PA) company and I liked that since many I had looked into were from other states and I wanted to keep my business local. Imagine my shock when 2 Men from a totally different company from Massachusetts show up to start work. The first day they showed up around 10:30 went to lunch around 12 for an hour and left at 2:30. Not very much was completed that day. A few days later they came back but said they would not put in the window well tap that Mike and I discussed and Mike recommended. When the men finished at around 8pm that night they asked me to write them a check to their company and then a separate check to Waterproofing One since they did not want to wait several weeks for Mike to pay them. Again that did not make me feel comfortable. The work was completed several weeks ago and of course, it has not rained for me to even see if it works. I would have thought the company would reach out to me by now to see if I was satisfied with the work but just an email to post this review.

They had to come back a week later cause the wall was cracking again where they patched up theWall. But they fixed it.

Excellent all around experience!!!!!!!! After a series of storms and gradual water soaking our basement carpet several times, I finally called Waterproofing One in April, 2017 after seeing their ad several times on our St. Basil's church bulletin. I spoke initially with the owner-Joe who was helpful and he dispatched Dave Cook who came over within an hour. Dave Cook has been in this business and related utility engineering previously for over 30 years and really knows his stuff. Dave was extremely thorough, spending time in the basement, looking at some pictures I took of the damage and spent a considerable amount of time walking around the exterior of my property and reviewing the landscaping where most problems start. Dave wrote up a report of what work was needed including extending downspouts, recommending we have our contractor add a louvered door at the top of the steps for aeration (a great idea given no windows in basement) , waterproofing the well water closet walls, spraying impacted area for potential mold, and installing a new French drain and sump-pump system with battery backup. Gene and his crew then came over on May 17, 2018 and performed the construction and installation work and did a great job. Those guys worked extremely hard in what is inherently a muddy line of work and were very courteous, professional and left the basement very clean. Gene took extra time to show us exactly what they were doing as they drilled holes into the lower cinder block walls, laying of the perforated pipe and some of the damp mold on the wooded studs he extracted at the impacted area. We paid exactly what Dave originally quoted! Dave Cook came back checked on things and made some other recommendations including adding stones around the foundation outside and in holes to avoid soil erosion and soften the acceleration of rain water into the ground. Once the work was finished and our carpenter redid the walls and painting, We had subsequently refinished the basement with high end vapor/mold resistant padding from Mohawk and a quality polyester carpet. 15 months later and here we are on September 30, 2019 after 50+ rain storms since installation and NO WATER nor Mold issues in the basement!!! We are really enjoying our basement again thanks to WATERPROOFING ONE!!!! 5-STARS!!!!!!!!

We hired Mike Famous with Waterproofing One as he came to our jobsite to inspect and give his opinion before even giving a quote, which was very helpful. The quote came back at a fair price and we decided to move forward with his company. During the set up process he and his team were quick to respond to any inquiries we had. The job itself was completed ahead of schedule and was accurately performed per our plans.

They came out & explained how they were going to resolve the drainage issue from our basement & lawn. We were surprised at the depth of work they had done to ensure that this issue was resolved for the new owners. They did as they said they would do per the estimate. These guys worked so hard & got rained on a good bit of the day, yet that didn't stop them from completing the job. They went above & beyond. There is a complete lack of communication between sales representative, owner, person doing the job, and whoever is the “manager” that day. I dealt with being told I was scheduled for a certain day, only to find out that it was written “in the book” for the following day. Then no one showing up because their”truck broke down”. Was promised by sales representative how this job would be done “all exposed foundation would be stripped of old parging and new parging would be applied including the parging around basement windows and steps as there is old parging in the area between the steps and foundation under my doors. The flower beds would be dug out, wall done and dirt and mulch put back. Also told where foundation and concrete meet they would put “great” waterproof caulking . I was told that ALL old parging and caulk would be removed and a white waterproof sealer would be applied. I was told that this job should take 1 day, 2 days maximum and that there will be a “crew” out here to do the job. 4/30/19, Day # 1 -scheduled appointment time was 9:00am, only 1 person showed up 2 hours late with a horrible attitude. Didn’t introduce himself, no explanation as to why he was 2 hours late. As soon as I arrived he left for his lunch break. The worker took it upon himself to put concrete where there was supposed to be caulking. I questioned this because as I know and as this company is supposed to know, concrete expands and contracts according to climate. I was told “I don’t think it will crack but if it does you can put some caulk in it”. Really? No one at this company seems to know what was agreed on and promised. The worker was under the assumption that only my front wall was to be done. Wrong. I explained what was to be done, everything. Especially pointing out the basement window areas, and digging out the flower bed. He said he was going to remove about 4 inches off the top. This is not what was agreed upon, for the parging on that wall is an additional 4 inches down. After he made it obvious he wasn’t going to dig out the flower bed my husband and I dug the flower beds out ourselves later that night. He made it blatantly obvious that he was not listening to a word I said and kept interrupting and talking over me. This worker told me that he would “have to speak to the sales representative (Al) because he thinks the sales representative is trying to get him”. Worker left angrily. He also left his materials in my driveway along with a bucket filled with water. I have small children and pets that this most certainly could cause injury to anyone of them. This worker also threw wet cement into my lawn next to my driveway where I just had put down grass seed. Total disregard and disrespect for my family and my property. Also worker left and never said a word as to when, or, if he would be back and a time. So I called to speak with the owner. Mike stated that he “wasn’t in”. (I am still waiting on the call back from the owner) to discuss exactly what is to be done since their own worker doesn’t even know. Mike stated that all the work that we had agreed on would be done. 5/1/19, Day #2- worker showed up at 9am and the only reason he spoke to me was to ask me to move my truck so he could park his in my driveway. I asked this worker if he had spoke to the owner ( as I never received a call back) and he said, “Yea, I guess we’re gonna have to do it” and that he had “helpers coming”. No “helpers” ever showed up. The worker did half a wall and deliberately left the basement window area untouched. Again left without saying anything. Not when he would return, what time, nothing. Again left all material in my driveway but this time he left a bucket full of a white liquid that I found out was a bonding agent. I was unaware it was left out there uncovered. My dog drank some of that liquid and vomited repeatedly. 5/2/19, Day #3- I was awoken to the sound of mini jackhammer/chisel hitting the side of my house. This same worker had just let himself through a closed gate onto my property without permission and started working without my knowledge. Because of this I had to keep my dogs inside my house until he decided to go to lunch. I put my dogs in their kennel in the back of my yard. And talked with a lovely couple that had been subcontracted for the day “to help”. Before I could get my dogs back inside, the original worker showed up. The male helper had relayed my question about why the window wasn’t touched and the original worker said “ slap some concrete on it, at this point I don’t even care”. This worker was standing in front of my back steps and didn’t realize I had the door open and could hear him loud and clear. Just as I was getting up to say something I hear him out back screaming “shut up” at my dogs because they were barking. Screaming at my dogs that are secured on MY property! He screamed it a second time and that is when I called the company’s owner to have his workers immediately leave my property. After 20 mins and countless times ringing my doorbell, I hear loud scrapping noises on the side of my house. I also watched this same worker dump a bucket of white bonding agent and wash out his paintbrush directly onto my lawn where my children play. So the police were dispatched. My entire property is under video and audio surveillance, with only a few of the cameras visible. After review of my recordings, I found that the scratching noises I heard were in fact this worker gouging large scratches into the fresh pardging his helper had applied before he got there. He was told to leave and then deliberately damaged the wall that was just done. On this day the police were dispatched about 1:30pm. At 3:30pm I received a voicemail from yet another “manager “ wanting to hear “my side” of the story. I sent him a detailed text message later that evening. Still haven’t heard anything in response. On 5/3/19 at 4:16pm I left my honest review of this company on Facebook. On 5/3/19 at 5:32pm the owner of this company began a series of threatening and harassing text messages over a 2 hour period. I am willing to submit any and all videos and text messages as this review only allows 1 picture to be downloaded.

I was very pleased, everything went very well. I would definitely recommend them, they did a great job.

Excellent.. finished in one day as told. Worked great two weeks later when we had 4 inches of rain in about two hours. No water in the basement

My main reason for hiring them was they could do the work on a specific day (Fri) that week and I knew I had no plans. Plus they had other good ratings. They also promised a 1 day job. With other companies I knew I was going to have to do more planning around schedules. They even gave me a discount because they had a hole in their schedule. They never showed up on Fri and did not call (office staff issues). I called and we rescheduled for Monday, they showed up late (new truck hit an overpass), and did not finish that day. When they did show up, the lead guy looked at the job and completely re-engineered it. He was hyper and a bit scattered in his thoughts. It turned out he was the owner but I did not know at the time. I had extreme reservations but was on the hook schedule wise and did not want to start all over again so let them do the work. On day 2 the owner's brother showed up to finish the job and he told me he would not have done what the workers did the day before to patch the crack in the foundation. I think the work was eventually good and have had no leaks, but it was quite an experience.

Jason from Waterproofig One came out and provided a very thorough estimate. He also answered numerous questions via email and provided references who had had to use their warranty services in the past (which was a specific request of mine). We ultimately went with another company who had done work on a relatives house and was offering a less expensive solution, but Waterproofing was our second choice.

We called Waterproofing One for an estimate. They came the day after the estimate (and the subsequent 2 days) to do the repair. The workers informed us in advance of every step. They were respectful, re-graded, and cleaned up well when the job was completed.

Waterproofing One was extremely professional throughout the process and the entire team worked extremely hard. My crawlspace is very large so the team put in a lot of time and effort to ensure there would be no issues for many years to come.

Had a good experience overall. They had an opening in the schedule so were able to start quickly. Property had some plumbing buried in the floor that the crew had to work around and it was all done without any issues. Crew was professional and easy to work with. Haven't had any water issues since the drain and sump were installed several months ago--despite several big rains.

It went well. They treated and address the issue of mold growth. They put in drainage system and sum pump.
