The response was quick and the repairman was knowledgeable and professional. He repaired a thermostat and checked and adjusted the freon in the unit. After letting it run for about 45 minutes it appeared to be repaired. Later in the evening, the unit again went out and after calling the answering service, the owner of the company returned my call and was at the house first thing the next morning. He determined one of the connections was faulty and repaired that and did not charge for the call. I was very pleased with his response and will call on them again.

They did an excellent job and I very highly recommend them. They saved us about 6000 dollars and gave us advice that was obviously much more honest than other companies which had given us quotes. I will always be grateful to them and will always call them when I need help in this area. It was a bit harder to make an appointment with them than with other companies but I think that is because they are very good and honest so they are probably in high demand.

Most time consuming part of the process was the time it took PECO - about 6 weeks - to bring the line fromthe street to the house. Actually the work itself took 2 days, but they said there was a long waiitng list of people who wanted this kind of work done, so we just got on line. DO; Make sure you do this in the late spring-summer when you won't need heat, unless your old heater is running effectively

Relatively pleased with the work performed and professionalism of the service guy. Primary concern/complaint is regarding the amount of time it took to perform the service: 2.5 hours worth of work that could have been performed, in my opinion, in less than 1 hour. At over $90/hour, the service was much more expensive than anticipated. He was certainly taking his time.

We had a very good experience. Their workmanship was good and they were prompt. They came when they said they were going to. I thought their price was reasonable for what they did. They cleaned up very well afterwards and responded afterwards to make sure everything was okay. The price was on the higher side but it was well worth it. They kept in contact and let us know what is going on. The people who came out were professional.

Paul Mourar came out to quote for the system. He is very knowledgable and was more than willing to go over anything to make sure you understood what you needed/wanted. Our 11 yr old compressor broke and he was out the next day to talk with me. We asked many questions on the pros/cons of replacing just the A/C vs replacing both A/C and Heating. He spent over 1/2 hr on the phone with my husband on a Friday night to explain all the ins and out of the various systems until my husband was satisifed with the choice that we made. The workers showed up on time, clean up well, and were very professional. Didn't even mind the occasional cat or dog in the way :) We would highly recommend Mourar's Heating and A/C. We had 2 other companies quote for similar systems. Mourar's pricing was inline with the other 2 companies (slightly less than one, slightly more than the other), but the service was much better.

They were good. They provided excellent service. They were economical on the price, and they were professional in their quotation process. The workers were excellent and professional. They got the job done quickly, and it was done after the first time.

Mourar's is a contractor you can trust! Our A/C unit was not working during a five day stretch of 90 degree weather. I have used Mourar's in the past for a humidifier install and they were reasonably priced, professional, prompt and courteous. When our A/C unit failed I had another contractor come out since he was available sooner and we wanted A/C immediately! The first contractor that came out to look at the A/C unit ran a few voltage tests and told me our compressor was shot and the best (and really only option) was to replace the entire A/C unit which he estimated at $4200! I didn't trust him so I reached back out to Mourar's to see how soon they could get out to my house. Phylis Mourar found an open time slot where a technician could come out the following morning. Mike from Mourar's arrived promptly the next morning with his assistant. After taking the time to actually take apart the A/C unit outside, he diagnosed the real problem. The compressor was not bad, he just needed to replace a bad terminal wire. He informed me that he did not have the necessary repair kit on the truck, but left to pick it up. He returned within the hour and repaired the problem. We had A/C within three hours of his initial arrival which was great since it was 95 degrees that day. More importantly, Mourar's provided a solution that cost us just $241 vs. $4200! Next time, I will go through Mourar's the first time, regardless of how busy they are. When it comes to high cost repairs, I typically look for second and third opinions. If you do the same, make sure that you reach ut to Mourar's. They are a family owned business that pride themselves in being honest and professional. They are not looking to make a quick buck, rather they build thier business through good service, professionalism and integrity. This translates to good word of mouth and repeat business and I will not hesitate to recommend Mourar's to anyone who is looking to have any HVAC work done. When the time comes that I really do have to replace my HVAC unit, I will contact Mourar's first!

They were very good. I talked to them upfront and they spoke to the owners. I forget his name, I think mark. He was very informative; he walked me through options and what it would take to install it on my own. He was very helpful and they were very good when they came out. They were very clean and did the job nicely. I priced out 5 companies and they were the best price quote.

He had to crawl up in the attic to check out the heat source and did several tests to determine it was a bad thermostat. He was there nearly two hours but I was very pleased with his efficiency and the fact that the problem was fixed in one service call.

The system is working fine and we are pleased with the comfort and quiet operation. All of the contract tasks were completed professionally, the system was checked out and initialized and we were given training on operation and on programming of the thermostat. The installation team was professional, friendly, courteous, careful of the premises, and competent. The team showed up exactly on time, the job was completed on schedule, and the premises were cleaned up and left in good condition. Overall, it went very well. It was also considered a plus to work with a family-owned business, who depends on word-of-mouth advertising.

I would use them again in the future.

Very well overall. This is a locally owned company. They sent Brian to install my systems. He was very professional and courteous. Worked hard and did a good job. I had to call them back for a couple things (one of which was a faulty manufacturer part). They responded very quickly both times and since then I am very pleased. Paul Mourar (the owner) is very concerned about customer satisfaction (rare these days). Oh yes, and the price turned out to be lower than the original estimate!
