Johnson Surveying

Actual survey was fine, but there was no confirmation of appointment after multiple attempts on our end. We were actually in process of looking for another company when someone from Johnson Surveying came to the door to do the work unexpectedly and with no heads up. The gentleman that did the work was excellent, professional, and polite. Booking this through AngiesList, there was supposed to be some sort of plot plan included, but was never delivered.

I contracted with them and paid a 800. Dollar retaining fee. I have the proof . This company never showed up and ignored my calls and letters . Seniors beware of this outfit .

It was great. Especially when I don't have to do much. Just provided Tim some info he needed and didnt even need to be here for the Survey. Would use Tim again and recommend to anyone who would need these services. Thanks Tim.

I contacted Johnson Surveying to obtain a survey of my property which was required for a zoning board hearing. I was under a bit of a time crunch in order to have everything I needed ready in time for the hearing and Johnson was flexible enough to accommodate my needs and get everything done professionally and on time. It's nice to work with people who show up when they say the will and do a professional job. Overall, I was very impressed with their work and would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to others.

He did the job within a week of my contacting him. He did a great job and helped us feel like we knew exactly what the boundaries were for the home we were about to buy. That peace of mind was worth every nickel.

They were professional and thorough. Service was fast, clearly done, and efficient. Plot plan took a few days, but is high quality, and includes things some other providers were going to charge extra for. Highly recommended!

Tim was responsive, showed up on time and did the work quickly and efficiently. The survey report was ready a few days later as promised. Unfortunately the contract ended up falling through on the house, but if I find a new one I wouldn't hesitate to use Tim again.

It was so easy. I emailed Tim along with a number of other engineers and he was the first to respond and was always incredibly responsive with any email that I sent. Johnson surveying was also significantly cheaper than the other estimates I received (by about $2000 - there is no type there). The survey was thorough and timely. They came on time and even though there was snow on the ground and it was cold, performed the service. My boundaries were clearly marked and the guys who came were courteous, informative and very helpful They answered my questions and explained what they were doing..

Young man from Johnson Surveying came on time and asked what I was looking for in the survey, explained my situation, he went about finding the boundaries and marking everything, when finished we walked my lot and was shown where all the corners were and went over everything.

Tim was very responsive and professional. He worked with me on getting my township requirements onto the plan. He mailed copies of the plan for township permits. Of particular note: In doing the survey Tim showed that a fence that had been constructed in 1997 by a neighbor was actually on my property. Tim's work helped me to show the neighbors the issue. They did their own survey which agreed with Tim's and the fence was removed.

Tim's workers came out on time and were very professional and polite, they walked me through the process. They did a great job finding all the markers. I will deffentley have them back when we are ready for the site plan if we need it. Thanks for a Great Job.

Johnson Surveying was very responsive to my request for a quote and to several follow-up questions. They arrived a few minutes early and completed the survey as promised. Professional, efficient, and friendly. They sent a written report several days after completing the survey. I would highly recommend them!

Job was completed as requested within the estimated cost. I now have property markers every 50 ft around my property, which is something I've been looking to do for a long time (my neighborhood isn't big on fences so the property lines are somewhat difficult to see).

Brian came out in the rain and surveyed our yard. He was very professional and polite. He did a great job. They were out here within three days after I called. They were easy to work with and great to talk to on the phone. Before finding Johnson surveying I called four other places for prices. Tim was easy to talk to on the phone and handled everything in a timely manner. I would recommend this company to anyone!

Within 24 hours, we had Brian here to survey our property. He was courteous and professional, and got right to work!

When we accepted the estimate, Mr. Johnson advised that he would perform the survey during the week of May 4. We told him that we wanted to be at home when he came so that he could walk the boundary with us and show us the pins upon completion. As such, we needed the survey to be done in the afternoon. We requested, and Mr. Johnson agreed to give, at least 24-hours notice of the specific day during the week that he would do the survey so that we could make arrangements to be at home. We called Mr. Johnson on May 4 to ask whether he had a better idea which day worked for him. He was rude and abrupt, and began to argue with us about his prior assurances. He said that he would do our survey on the morning of Friday, May 8 - a time he knew we could not be at home. We told him that we would work with a surveyor who showed professionalism, equanimity and dependability, rather than with him.

I asked them to survey my property to support future plans to install fencing. They called with little notice to say they could come by. They put some posts (wood, iron rebar) into the ground and marked the concrete with paint. I received no report. Not sure that was to have been included, but I had expected one. UPDATE: Mr. Johnson called me and offered to send me the documents that had been used for the survey. I'm pleased with his responsiveness and have upgraded my initial review.

After his response I contacted him again to get some advice about different kinds of land surveys. He readily responded and gave me some knowledge which I needed. He is a true professional!
