Mr. Leo came to my house within the week of my phone call to review the job and details needed for an estimate. While there, he learned that we were remodeling the kitchen and so asked for information to provide a quote on the kitchen remodel, also. Before he left, we spoke about a third window that was leaking, but we agreed to leave that for another day. Two weeks went by and I had not heard anything from Mr. Leo. I called him during the day and he answered. I reminded him who I was and that I hadn't heard from him in two weeks; I was assuming he wasn't interested, but wanted to call and touch base. He apologized, stated he had been very busy, and said he could email me something the next day. I used the email on his business card and sent him an email so he'd have my email address. I did not hear anything further from Mr. Leo. My preference is for a contractor to be up front and notify the customer early when they're not interested or not able to do a job for whatever reason. I was not shopping for quotes, and this experience set me back in my project progress.

Everything went well from start to finish and we're quite please since we had no idea what we would uncover. A neglected master bath shower stall in my parents home is finally safely and beautifully restored. About 20 years ago, this would have been a simple retiling job, but Dad just never had the time. Eventually, the tiles had fallen off of the shower head wall, so Mom covered this area with plastic and duct tape to 'protect' this area from getting wet for about 15 years; therefore some of the wood framing and flooring had damage due to water leakage, various other leaks discovered in the house, and subsequent termite damage. The entire shower area was stripped to the rough framing. We had to replace subflooring, do plumbing upgrades, and we were able to enlarge the shower area several inches which was fabulous. Now, when my Mom takes a shower, she just can't belive the transformation and says it reminds her of the shower styles that she's seen in Germany which she loves. We're very satisfied customers and have started a home remodeling 'To Do List' for John and his team.
